Happy Birthday, Josef K. Good luck with The Trial.
I remember listening to Art Bell a few years back, back during one of those long Alaskan nights, and he had an "expert guest" on who proclaimed that we were not only overdue for a magnetic pole reversal (heh), but that the earth's crust floated on the mantle, and could itself shift positions rapidly. He likened it to the skin of an orange with all of the tendons torn away.
BTW, Whitley Strieber has a new book out.

At her press conference yesterday, that dumb broad, Janet Napolitano, lied that the Obama Administration has done such an awsomely excellent job of preventing illegal aliens from entering this country in recent months that the Arizona-Mexican border has never been more secure than it is now. Seriously, that was what she said. What a sleazy administration.

So figured out my survival plan after the economic collapse of 2015:
1. Build a hydroponic garden in an abandoned warehouse (no farms, every mouth breather for miles around can find a farm)
2. Buy lots of pre-1964 silver with my cashed out 401k (O will sieze the 401ks and all the gold)
3. Become a crossbow marksmen (O will come after all the guns)

Oil spill to the south of us.
Asian carp to the north of us.
Won't be long before the locust arrive.
Yep, a vote for Obama is a vote for a curse upon this country.
An Asian carp was found for the first time beyond electric barriers meant to keep the voracious invasive species out of the Great Lakes, state and federal officials said Wednesday, prompting renewed calls for swift action to block their advance. Commercial fishermen landed the 3-foot-long, 20-pound bighead carp in Lake Calumet on Chicago's South Side. Would this fall under illegal immigration?

Obama certainly has a plan for the oil disaster, it just doesn't happen to involve stopping it. The US, after all, has steadfastly refused assistance from numerous countries who could help. Instead, he welcomes this disaster to push a draconian green agenda. Remember BP's tag-line, "Beyond Petroleum"? They're sacrificing themselves on the altar to the new god of cap and trade. As Obama's terrorist pal Rahm Emanuel has said, never let a good crisis go to waste. I'm guessing they allowed the blowout to continue this long to make it ghastly, horrific and appalling enough that the sheeple will bleat piteously to have their standard of living reduced dramatically to "solve" this problem. Massive casualties will no doubt be the denouement to their theatrical production. And then we really will move 'beyond petroleum'-- to something worse.

WASHINGTON/LONDON (Reuters) – The Gulf of Mexico oil spill piled pressure on Barack Obama on Thursday as the hurricane season closed in and voters angry at his crisis management hammered the U.S. president in a poll rating.
The crisis has thrust to the top of Obama's crowded domestic agenda and a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll found half of those surveyed disapproved of his handling of the spill.
Overall Obama's rating stood at 45 percent in the poll, down 5 points from early last month. For the first time in the survey, more people, or 48 percent, say they disapprove of his job performance.

N.J. top court won't hear appeal by teacher's union on pension fund payments
The state Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal by the NJEA, leaving in place an appeals court ruling that the state is not constitutionally required to fully fund the teachers' pension fund, the Star-Ledger reported Wednesday. Since the Christine Whitman administration, no state budget has made a complete payment to the state pension fund, and the union sued, saying the fund's shortfalls are putting the pension system in jeopardy.
Children and minorities hit hardest. NJEA takes another shot.

143 - it's difficult to describe what it's like for a woman to suddenly realize she's in a very probable rape situation. At that moment, we have to live by our wits. The masseuse believed that if she made any sudden move for the door, or called attention to herself, she would be considered the assailant - because of the perp's standing in the world. IOW he could easily turn it around on her, since he was the one with the credibility.
I read a lot of the transcript, she does seem flaky, but so much of her description of the events ring true, especially when she said she felt like she was dancing on the edge of a razor. I've been in a similar situation, except not with a former VPOTUS. His behavior fits the template of these men in power who sexually abuse women. He absolutely knew that the woman was at his mercy, and would most likely get what he wanted out of her. It's a tribute to her that she was able to withstand the siege and get out of that room without a bloody lip and an unwanted violation. Like that victim of Clinton's, was it Kathleen Willey?

When did we start criticizing good men like Petreaus for not letting politics get in the way of the right decision? It's not McChrystal's fault that he got handcuffed by this administration or that his entire service to the country was just a tool for getting into politics like John Kerry. If Petraeus turns out to be a politician (conservative or liberal), then we can criticize his beliefs if we disagree with them. The guy has been nothing but a rock-solid leader. Yes, draw your own conclusions but don't let them be based on an ignorant premise.

"Obama's Islamic Envoy: Obama Is America’s “Educator-in-Chief on Islam”"
Excerpt:
In his remarks, Hussain also congratulated Obama for sending Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser, to last year’s annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America, a notorious front for Saudi-financed Muslim radicalism. Worse, Hussain has now divulged that the U.S. will support the OIC in the latter’s United Nations effort to criminalize “defamation of religion” – widely perceived as a measure to suppress criticism of Muslim practices that violate human rights. "The OIC and the Obama administration will work together in the UN on the issue of defamation of religion, especially in Europe," said Hussain. He had previously said, at the above-mentioned April “post-Cairo” conference, that the U.S. would work with the OIC to defend the Muslim head-scarf against prohibitions on its display in schools and governmental offices – a measure common to secular France and now Islamist-ruled, but still legally-secular Turkey, as well as Muslim-majority Tunisia and Kosovo

From the Chicago Sun Times on the Blago trial
A top aide to former Gov. Rod Blagojevich said he believed Barack Obama knew of Blagojevich's plot to win himself a presidential Cabinet post in exchange for appointing Valerie Jarrett to the U.S. Senate.
John Harris, Blagojevich's former chief of staff, testified Wednesday in the former governor's corruption trial that three days after the Nov. 4, 2008, presidential election, the ex-governor told Harris he felt confident Obama knew he wanted to swap perks.
"The president understands that the governor would be willing to make the appointment of Valerie Jarrett as long as he gets what he's asked for. . . . The governor gets the Cabinet appointment he's asked for," Harris said, explaining a recorded call.
Harris said Blagojevich came away believing Obama knew what he wanted after having a conversation with a local union representative, who in turn spoke with labor leader Tom Balanoff, with whom Blagojevich met to discuss a Jarrett appointment. Jarrett, now a White House adviser, was seeking the appointment to Obama's Senate seat.

This is rather alarming. I hadn't noticed that a CA based group, National Popular Vote, is trying to eliminate the electoral college. Link is to The Corner from this morning. Apparently, if this legislation can get 270 electoral votes it can be implemented without a constitutional amendment. If NY, Mass, and Delaware hop on, the votes are coming up soon in these states, thye will have 169 of the needed electoral votes. All so that Al Gore would have won in 2000.

140 One of the most scary things I have seen in a while is the white UN prison buses massed up in Green Cove Springs, Florida waiting to be deployed. Go to Google Earth, type in Green Cove Springs, zoom in on the airport runway, and remember the writings of Alexander Solzhenitsyn.

When beginning a business, make an attempt to use distinct names and logos which have been not well-known place. Get your trademarks. Since the business grows, potential customers will appear to know your trace and recognize it along with your product or service. This, however, is definitely the crucial to buying them to return back and decide to buy from you.
