Who would have imagined when Michelle said this that what she really meant was Obama would never stop letting us know just how stupid he is and get back to hoping he is highly intelligent.

Why don't you people just go back to NYT, Newsweek, and CNN, etc.? God knows they need the money! (Saw recently that CNN has lost 50% viewership in the last 12 months. The situation is obviously desperate - and getting worse!).

News items such as this may well result in one of two things: some media outlets pull back from the precipice and at least pretend to be impartial. Others will go all out, full Biden, in the hope of gevernment bailouts, or individual employment. This last one is most likely.

Some of you think we're gaining ground on the Mohammedan Mouthpiece? Not as long as he can get away with a treasonous stunt like this.
Add this to the long list of impeachable offenses Osama Obama would face if Congress -- and the public, including squish conservatives -- had the balls to treat him like the corrupt, America-hating goon he is and not keep giving him free passes based on some twisted notion of "comity." And race-guilt.

Legal Insurrection has lots of funny quotes from liberals who are smarter than us:
The point is that (a) the teabaggers donÂ’t actually have a cause, just a lot of resentments; and (2) [sic] their slogans and symbols are displays of tribal dominance only.
(emphasis mine, "sic" from L.I.)

This. These idiots have been trying to create the Eurotopia that our betters have beeen selling for years. I heard this litany when I was in college (mid '80s). During all that time, they ignored the fact that these countries are demographically unsustainable, living for the present and weak, relying on the US for their defense. The irony is that at least some are trying to reverse course, while others are already tottering (Greece). Meanwhile, they blindly press on with the 'ideals' that have been tired and found wanting.
P.S. I have lojack. Don't even try.

"...someone like a Mr. Beck..."
I wish the "interviewer", instead of taking transcription, would have asked the obvious question:
"Okay, so exactly what kind of someone is Mr. Beck? Please be specific by citing his words or deeds that are in your opinion incorrect or dihonest."

14 His life is going to end up a hell of a lot different, too: sipping cocktails on a porch in some decaying gated community in Kenya, dreaming of what might have been...
Sounds like the ending of Godfather III. Michael Corleone drops dead old and alone in the courtyard of his house in Sicily with only a small dog yapping around him.

Aug. 30 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks fell and Treasuries rallied as American personal incomes trailed estimates, fueling concern the economic rebound is slowing.

Hey, I don't know how to do the tinyurl thing, but there's a great article from Time via Yahoo news that will make morons everywhere rejoice.

I haven't been this happy since the first time I found the BFG 9000 in DOOM.

I have a question for the morons. Is it off limits to refer to Michelle Obama as a klingon or what not?
I think I remember ace doing riffs on this 'cause he was pissed about the MFM always refering to her as "the most beautiful and glamourous woman in the world!!!!" right after the elections.
But I don't know if this was later ruled to be insensitive or offensive.
If so, that's cool.
I'm not looking to pull a Bl*zer here. I'm just looking for a blog ruling.
Thanks.
