Posted by: Sheriff Biden at March 22, 2010 09:55 PM (bkOJN)

15 Doesn't have to be a perfect world.

Only needs enough states. If 37 state governments are ready to sue, they could, even more easily, just amend the constitution. No court fuss ... the feds would just be screwed.

States would have to then take up regulating medicine and drugs ... fine.

16 13 “Amendment 28: Congress shall make no law respecting medical treatment or its provision.”

Posted by: Kristopher at March 23, 2010 01:51 AM (kCEOg)

Actually, I'd like to see it worded more like:

Any attempt by any of the legislative, executive or judicial branch of federal governance persons to increase, expand or inflate the powers of the federal government above or beyond those specifically enumerated in the Constitution shall result in said persons being dragged out by their hair, stripped, whipped, flayed, soaked in brine, then expelled from the country by the nearest border, including coastal.

Any attempts to reference a "living Constitution" that is not expressly backed by the known writings of those founding fathers directly involved in writing our Constitution, excepting amendments to said Constitution as per already defined law, by any federal judiciary shall result in immediate arrest and trail for failure of oath.

Ok, maybe not the stripped whipped and flayed part, but maybe arrested and tried as hostile to the Constitution, violators of oath of office and undocumented enemy agents.

Beyond the hate Bush syndrome and the PC white guilt syndrome, there hasn’t been enough discussion exposing the fact that votes given to elect Obama were based on the Simple Simon syndrome. Greedy people voted for Obama because they wanted something for nothing. They never asked for Obama’s explanation to define “hope we can believe in” to hold Obama on record.

ObamaÂ’s Marxist family, upbringing and education aside, note well that ObamaÂ’s scant professional record thoroughly exposed his white collar attorney fraud stealing public tax funds directed to poverty public projects but kept by the attorneys as handling fees. No Altgelt Gardens old folks Chicago ghetto sub-standard public housing improvements EVER occurred, and that was ObamaÂ’s fault before he ever sought public office.

Sunday’s House vote translated “Hope We Can Believe In” into being taxed to abort babies, and being taxed to bankrupt people, professions and government.

WeÂ’re not going to get squat medical care, but we are going to get f*cked by the Federal Socialists in office. Prepare for the nationÂ’s utter bankruptcy, from moral deprivation as the Constitution dissolves through financial ruin as the dollar becomes obscenely worthless.

Suddenly, everybody knows he's a socialist/communist/marxist? Like all his associates/ministers/family? Ya don't say.

Stupids saying that the economy was bad so they voted for the other party never dreaming that it would get worse.

What did he say about Amnesty III?  Anyway, the Party bosses said that if Obama used cram-down on the healthscam they would lock up the Senate and House for the rest of the year.  I take it Grahamnasty has no choice unless he wants to lose his seat on the judicial committee.

71 Wait, I thought the lefty meme was that Lincoln was a racist that didn't really want to end slavery.

The actual meme was that he really did not give a damn about blacks and that he was a 19th century racist.  That is true.

He was opposed to slavery, hell that was his entire platform.  But he is quoted as saying the call for the civil war was NOT to end slavery. I believe it goes something like this; "If I could preserve the union without freeing a single slave I would do it.".

72 Unrelated, but last night my husband came home and announced he is going to register to vote and vote Republican in the next election!!  He's never voted before in his life, but now that Obamacare has passed he realizes it will affect him personally.  Also, he works at a student loan lender.  I won't say which one, but the gov't takeover of loans will affect his company big time.

Get back to work, as your not a god damn hippie and are expected to pay for all this shit.

interesting that someone brought up Prentiss Douglas attacking Sen Sumner in 1857?, yesterday.

I did a little reading and realized that Sumner was a Mass  U.S. senator, a Republican and an abolitionist. I should've have known that because 1) I'm from Mass, and 2) there's a tunnel in Boston named after Sumner.

88 I did a little reading and realized that Sumner was a Mass  U.S. senator, a Republican and an abolitionist.

He was a "radical Republican" of that era.  The day before he had given a blistering speech in which he had impuned the Sen from SC.

In that day and age dueling was still a common practice.  The Sen from SC however could not challenge Sumner to a duel because he was considered lower class rabble. "Gentlemen" did not duel with rabble as it was against the code.  Instead his cousin(?) Preston Brooks went into the Senate and beat him with the famous gutta-purcha silver headed cane. He came close to killing him.

iTunes, maybe.  I haven't kept up with their anti-digital crusade lately.

I see no reason he couldn't rip a CD and move the files over himself.  I have several Metallica CDs on my player.  Granted, its not an iPod, but I don't see why using an iPod would matter.  They are just .mp3 files.

If there is some technical way that Metallica tracks are prevented from being moved to an iPod, then it's possible he might be using another player that is simply being called an iPod.

Well, I think they'll still need some of the current lenders to help service them (according to my husband's discussion of their internal stuff).  They just won't be able to originate loans any more.  You're right though, best not to trust the gov't to do anything they say they're going to do at this point.
