7 Interesting how the wholesome, all-American attitudes of Hollywood seem to destroy an inordinate number of actors, most especially child actors. It's almost as if the morals and ethics common in the industry are less than ideal for healthy personal growth.

8 I know Haim made horrible choices but I still feel a loss at his passing. I was flipping channels about a year ago and License to Drive was on. I only intended to watch for a few minutes, but watched the whole damn thing and it made me laugh as hard as it did the first time. I know the movie is silly, but it still made me laugh. I remember watching it with my kids.

16 I watched a few episodes of The Two Feldmans, or whatever that reality show that him and Feldman had was called. You could tell that Haim wasn't going to be around much longer and Feldman apparently screwed him on a Lost Boys sequel. Lucas is still a great flick though.

32 I saw him once at a movie memorabilia convention about 10 years ago. (I was waiting for an airport shuttle and decided to buy a ticket). It was full of 50's movies B and C stars, Lou Ferigno, and Corey Haim. He was charging for autographs and pictures. The saddest thing was he was flirting hard with a mother and daughter just to get them to spend the $75 for a picture with him. I felt so embarrassed for him. Given how horrible he looked, I am surprised that he survived as long as he did.

So sad.
