Very Well Done Ad
— LauraW

Cheap But Good

According to tipster Krukke1 this guy is running against Keith Ellison in MN.

Baby in a business suit, selling cars. So cute I can't even stand it.

1 Apparently the little girl got bagging lessons at my local grocery.  First the eggs, then the pineapple.

Perhaps the candidate's surname will fool some proudly ignorant "independents and moderates" for vote for who that think is a Democrat.

Cordially...

Fantastic!

I love the cuttie sitting in the asile mowing on Oreos!

4 Yeah, that little chick is gonna get herself canned.

5 That's an updated version of an ad MoveOn.Org ran against President Bush around 2006.

I bust my ass to put a roof over our heads and you want a new pacifier?! Diapers don't grow on trees!

9 Too cute!! I don't know if the majority of the Minnesotans can wrap their minds around this (these are the people that elected Jesse Ventura and Al Franken, in ADDITION to Keith Ellison for gosh sakes) but maybe they will vote for him due to the cute!!

Posted by: moki at September 24, 2010 07:53 AM (dZmFh)

10 Great add. But he should also lose some weight unless he is going for the Chris Christie look?

Posted by: nevergiveup at September 24, 2010 07:53 AM (0GFWk)

11 But ... but ... but ... we're stealing from the children for the children.

12 But he should also lose some weight unless he is going for the Chris Christie look?

Not this year.  This year, the best bet is to be the antithesis of Obama in everything.  He should probably do a Who on an innocent teleprompter.

13 Demos = "people" in Greek, no?

At my grocery it's always raw chicken in the same bag as fresh veggies.  Anyways, good luck to this guy but he has no chance at all to win that district.

I'm pretty sure Demos means "racist" - most last names on Republicans mean that.

19 Great ad. Unfortunately, he will never win. MN District 5 covers Minneapolis and it's PVI is D+23.

I can't see the ad but I just want to say that it sucks as it does not address what I want it to address.

This might be my favorite comment. Of all time.

Gold star for you!

21 Nice idea, we can tax kids, too. Get the IRS on this right away! I mean, shit, they're being given food, clothes, rent, utilities, schooling. That shit ain't free and can be counted as a gift.

25 17-Minnesota unions obviously are skimping for their people-only Oreos, and not pot or Thunderbird.

26 He's a sacrificial lamb so I guess he decided to have fun with it. Cute kids, cute ad, mostly pointless.

Posted by: joncelli at September 24, 2010 08:00 AM (RD7QR)

27 MN CD5 pushed former Rep. Martin Sabo into early retirement for the "crime" of not being progressive enough to properly reflect the district.  Thus, we are stuck with Keith X for all-time.

It's been a D district since 1963, and only 3 different reps in all that time.

29 This ad would make Shamir Shabazz' head explode. (or whatever the hell his invented name is. The 'pollworker' featured in the Beck report in the last thread). So many crackah-babies, such a little club.

Posted by: t-bird at September 24, 2010 08:01 AM (FcR7P)

30 I wasn't impressed.  I'm a single issue voter and this didn't address my issue.  I don't know how he comes down on masturbation.

31 That pineapple was kinda small. I don't know what I mean by that.

41 [But he should also lose some weight unless he is going for the Chris Christie look?] Do we have to dog every single candidate? Big deal. He's a little overweight. Who the fuck cares? A bunch of malevolent totalitarians are busy stealing our money, jamming economy-destroying legislation down our throats, taking over businesses, shredding contract law, threatening insurance companies, and suing states who try to protect their borders. Anyone who has a problem with that gets called a racist. If they're too loud with their disagreement they also get investigated, smeared and audited. I'm guessing a few extra lbs on our candidates isn't such a big fucking deal to the voters right now. Pointing out his weight is kinda like complaining that you don't like the shade of lipstick your wife picked to wear while she's busy giving you a blowjob.

50 He's got other great ads made on the cheap.  Someone in the GOP needs to find a spot for that for that guy.

52 I live in MN (outstate) Most of the state is red except for Mpls and St.Paul (well the dorks on the iron range too) Sadly the drones there pull the lever for anyone with a "D" after their name. Mpls is the San Fran of the midwest. Meaning, yea, they've turned into a shit hole. Good ad, but sadly this guy doesn't stand much of a chance. Pol Pot could run as  Dem in the 5th and get elected.

Posted by: Bruce The Robert at September 24, 2010 09:07 AM (iPWmv)

53 So, do you think his last name works for or against him?

From what I understand about the district he's running in, 'DEMOS FOR CONGRESS' might work well enough to confuse the habitual democrat voters into checking his name.

Posted by: mpur in Texas (kicking Mexico's ass since 1836) at September 24, 2010 09:09 AM (IqIVj)

54 Great ad.  Send this guy's people to the RNC.  No ominous music over a list of all the crap his oponent has done.  He gets his point across and at the end of the ad you like the guy.  I hope he wins.
