WARNING: CHEESE.
— LauraW

Happy Saturday Night!

Here, beloved Morons. Because I love you and think about you like crazy, here is some choice gorgonzola for you.

It stinks.
This is some stinky, old, cheesy-cheese. You will like.

This horrible old...whatever the Hell it is, has been released in its full glory in short youtube increments.

They're all awful. And funny. If you go to Episode 10 you will see John Bolton's Moustache do a cameo in which he executes a guy.

But check this out: the first minute or so of Episode 9, which really sings:

ILLUSION SPOILER: Despite the very well done antiquing job, this is a genre spoof that's really only a couple years old.

And new to me.
Because I never saw it before tonight.

*cough*

27 Let's not forget ...Japanese Spider-Man! (from wikipedia) Producers Tōru Hirayama and Susumu Yoshikawa originally wanted to make the series faithful to the famous web-slinger's origins, but Bandai, one of the sponsors, told the studio to add a giant robot (as giant robots were all the rage in Japan). Hirayama and Yoshikawa met their demand with complete incredulity, and they reluctantly rewrote Spidey's origins completely for the show. Toei's budget for special effects ran out by episode 5 , and after episode 10, no more footage of Leopardon could be created, since the suit was stolen. The Leopardon was limited to stock footage, with new footage of the monster-of-the-week (reacting to and being destroyed by the "Swordvicker" attack) spliced in. I've seen a couple of episodes. Very cheesy. And better than you'd expect.

Oddly enough, I don't know if I'll be going back, although my husbands company did offer to help us go back after his passing.  Colorado was where I grew up and there's a lot to like about it but we found out we weren't really what I'd call "Colorado lifestyle" people.  Taking the mountain discount in pay when you don't make use of the hiking, biking, etc. aminities came to seem very silly.  I expected to hate MO, and it is quite different, but all of us ended up liking it a lot more than expected.

Oh, and sorry about the earworm, Delta Smelt.

Ya know, when I was having my morning coffee, it wasn't half bad.  5 hours later, still thinking about "pitying the fool" I was over it.  I'm just giving you shit of course.

I'm watching that episode.  At a little over 6:00 in, you can hear part of a cut from Pink Floyd's Meddle

The Turks always knew how to steal the best shit.

Wish I could be there.  I'll be in DC in the 28th.  I'd make a special trip to NYC if it were any later in the week.

Some threads just turn toxic.

Oh-kay, so I see on the other thread we still have people who can't be bothered to learn the difference between the Big Bang Theory and evolutionary biology.  'Guess I'm glad I was out having a life this afternoon.  I'm sick of fighting that battle.

LOL, I've never been skiing either.  My sister only does because she dated a guy from Vermont who got her hooked.  I'm totally with you on the hotel and my husband was the same way.  In our world an unheated/outdoor pool is roughing it.  Thank God my parents take the kids camping every now and then so I don't have to.

No?  Carry on.

114 Ace, you guys have ads for Jerry Brown running on your website.  Really?  You're getting money from the commies for your site now?  This may be the last time I read your site.  Get your shit right dude.

115 Velveeta is more authentic. A spoof can never be cheese. Real cheese has to be some movie that attempts to be dramatic but fails dramatically, typically because of a tight production budget or crappy writers. The "Italian Spiderman" was stupid, but it was intentionally stupid, so if the audience laughs at the poor quality, it is a non-cheesy movie because it achieved the response that the producers intended. Real cheese needs to be something done seriously which ultimately is taken non-seriously and is at the expense of everyone involved. Sort of like the current POTUS.

Five minutes of must see TV.  The trailer for Turkish Superman.  Watch how he stops that runaway truck.

Faster than a speeding kebab delivery boy.  More powerful than soudjouk with mezes of Albanian liver.  Able to jump tall IDF soldiers when accompanied by a large group of friends.  Look!  Up in the sky!  It's a bird!  It's a plane!  And over there on the sidewalk!  It's Turkish Superman!

You're calling the President cheesy?

That's pretty racist, isn't it?

Or were you talking about yellow cheese?  Cause if you were, forget I said anything.

Not to be outdone, Indian Superman.

India Superman prefers making time for the chix, flying around on dates, and shaking his ass in the park.

We need to re-write "Fuck You" for the midterms.  Lend a hand...

Well, you keep passing all those bills

Without our consent

And we're like, "Fuck you!"

Oh, well, we're trying to live our lives

Without a red cent

And we're like, "Fuck you!  And fuck you too."

Well, if I was wealthier

I know I'd be healthier

Ain't that some shit.  (Ain't that some shit?)

Anybody got anything?
