Every district is different. I attend all the meetings so I know who attends meetings and who are members. For the next county over, except for those running for state wide or national offices, I haven't a clue. Most of the chapters of the TEA party have web sites, and they should have an endorsement list. The TEA party considers local elections for school board and city council just as important as state wide and national elections.

Truly, if these dolts were involved in local politics of any kind, they wouldn't ask the question.  The women make things hum.  I have a friend who works, runs her own animal charity as well as the county 'Pub party behind the scenes.  She's chaired twice but pulled the strings to get the latest in place.  At the conventions, if someone gets too wordy or she doesn't agree with their position:  Run like the wind because she's going to take the mike.  Love it, love it, love it.  How I could end up so lucky as to find myself in the most conservative district in Iowa, I don't know.  Is this heaven?  Hell, yes.

Plus, Laura, you are hilarious.  Thought it was one of our potty-mouthed boys.  Well said.

Because they're mean, plain and simple. Didn't you read my latest column? That bitch Sharron Angle actually told poor gentlemanly Harry Reid to "man up." That was so mean I started to cry for Harry's sake.

Every district is different. I attend all the meetings so I know who attends meetings and who are members. For the next county over, except for those running for state wide or national offices, I haven't a clue. Most of the chapters of the TEA party have web sites, and they should have an endorsement list. The TEA party considers local elections for school board and city council just as important as state wide and national elections.

I'd love to see the answer to why there are women in the Tea party that are life long (or life long former) Democrats. That one would give them an anyurism. After 27 years as a registered dem. I changed my affiliation minutes after the primary vote even though I have voted straight repub for 2 years.

I don't think they have enough creativity to come up with even insanely absurd spin to explain that one. But i'd love to get a good laugh seeing them try
