4 For anyone who missed it, Rick Perry reads the Top Ten List on Letterman. I thought he did great, clearly his staff understands how to run a campaign and turn negatives into potential positives. Cain's people could learn a thing or two, if Cain was actually serious that is.

18 The funniest movie relating to rock that willl ever be made. One of the ironies is that the music in the film is better than most hard rock music and was written by Guest, Sherrer and MeKean. There are about 50 bits in that movie that are funnier than anything done in the last 10 years...and it was all done via improv by the principal actors. Simply brilliant...

29 Well kiddies, it's NOW OFFICIALLY "Interplanetary Nigel Tufnel Day" & I couldn't be more pleased... we'll actually I could. But I can't figure out how to charge royalties from it. Irregardless, make sure you "turn it up to 11", watch our film, listen to our records, throw a "This Party Goes Past 11" theme party dressed as your fave rock characters and make sure everything's cleaned up by 11 tomorrow-can't leave things untidy can we? And don't forget to have a designated diver!
