— Ace Evil.
Police say that nightmare unfolded Saturday, when 17-year-old Tyler Hadley allegedly attacked his parents with a hammer. By the time it was over, both were dead, having suffered blunt force trauma to the head and torso.Just as shocking as the alleged murders, police say the teen threw a house party just hours after the deaths, with between 40 and 60 people attending, apparently unaware the Hadleys' bodies were behind the locked door to the master bedroom.
After receiving an anonymous tip, police found the bodies of Blake, 54, and Mary-Jo, 47, Sunday morning, their bodies partially covered with books, towels and other household items. A 22-inch hammer, believed to be the murder weapon, was found between them, police said.

ATLANTA -- A Georgia death row inmate convicted of the 1993 slayings of his parents and his 14-year-old sister in suburban Atlanta is set to be executed later this month, the state Department of Corrections said Wednesday.
Corrections Commissioner Brian Owens set the execution of Andrew Grant DeYoung for July 20 at 7 p.m.
DeYoung was convicted of three counts of malice murder in October 1995.

speaking of Marines...
Around where I live we have lots of panhandlers at our busy intersections. Some are bums, some are firefighters raising money, some are from the Kiwanis Club, and some are kids who play sports or cheerlead.
All of them piss me off, especially the kids. What kind of parent allows their child to panhandle/beg in the middle of the street for baseball uniforms?
Anyway...today a dirty looking man holding a torn piece of cardboard "USMC Vet" was at the intersection with a cup. I wondered for a moment what kind of Marine would not only beg for change, but use his service in the Corps to gain pity.
None, I think. So I pulled up and said, "Fuck off." Didn't faze him in the least.

Even if you get sentenced to death, in most states you won't ever actually get put to death. In Florida, where this took place, they've got almost 400 people on death row and only executed 69 since the death penalty was reinstated in 1976. Looking over the list I'd say as a killer you stand a pretty good chance of dying of natural causes in Florida as long as you don't kill a cop.

22 ounces is a common size for framing hammers .
I own a sixteen ounce curved claw for trim and cabinets . 20 ounce curved claw for general work , 20 ounce framing ,22 ounce framing , 28 ounce framing. I used the 28 when I was a young buck . When you're in training you can sink a 16 penny nail with one lick from the 28 .Of course back in my misspent youth we used to drive stakes with a 16 lb. sledge too . Man , that was an eon ago .
Nowadays I use a 13 oz. trim hammer for all my murders .
