— Ace Not a single media mention that I know of.
Think of how skillfully they did this. First, they accused him of "editing" the videos in a misleading way. The only evidence of that was that comical flashes of O'Keefe and Giles in pimp and ho attire was thrown in for laughs -- and that has become the basis for the left's lament of "misleading editing."
Having repeated an allegation never proven enough times, the media can now say "Well we can't run his videos; they're misleadingly edited." Despite the fact that the unedited videos all run in their entirety after the highlights that begin each reel.

Look, in my house, the New York Times was like the Bible. If it was in the New York Times, it was the truth, period.
And if it's not in the New York times, I don't care how much evidence you have that it did happen. That's how science works, right?

Does anyone know what ever became of the PBS sting? IIRC, there was supposed to be a follow up to the NPR stuff, but it never materialized. Or I missed it.

This goes against Obama's wishes that we cut defense spending; not spending on food stamps and the like.
Because it would be a shame if we cut food stamps in any way. How will those poor, poor most likely overweight people eat?

They omitted every video and interview that made him out to be either stupid or socialist.
There's a difference?

The fact is that he has to edit because nobody will air 6 hour clips (even though he has full tapes available). So anything will be "selective editing".
It isn't skillful at all.

Yeah, MFM, that word "editing" doesn't mean what you think it means.

It's easy, all you have to do is decode an RC4 128 bit encryption key, by hand, on one sheet of paper,
Produce an original context free grammar and describe the pushdown automa that executes it; Produce a compiler that compiles it in its own language.
Provide the exact number of points from a random George Seurat masterpiece where only 3 dots are displayed as a clue.

As always, this is a must-watch that will leave you shaking your head in disbelief. By now I am convinced it is darn-near impossible to actually get turned away for any reason when walking into a Medicaid office. You could say “I have a stack of corpses in my basement; will that be a problem?” and they’d probably just tell you not to put that on the application.
If Sacha Cohen wanted to use his "Borat" shtick and to do some good and highlight some of the problems with society in general, he'd go into some Medicaid officies wearing his "maniki" and ask to put his sister, one of the best prostitutes in Kazakhstan on public assistance.
But nope, it'll be a cold day in hell before he does that. He gets a ton more publicity and Academy kudos with his self-hating, red-state rubes mocking act.

I recall Ronald Reagan working with Tip O'Neil's House.
Reagan was one hell of a negotiator, a skill set acquired during his long years as the acting president of SAG.
Remember, this was the man who walked away from the Soviets at the negotiation table, gaining him much public scorn from the usual leftist butt-whistlers, in order to get a much better deal later. And he still never gave up SDI.

But O'Keefe used an amusing pimp costume outside the sting, and a realistic one inside (normal clothing) and that's proof we should ignore his evidence forever?
The MSM is shameless, but really, they are threatened. How many people are inspired by what O'Keefe's doing?
You don't really need a multimillion dollar TV show or printing press. If you can catch government corruption on camera, just post it to youtube.

I listened to him a bit this morning as I got off early (THANK GOD!) and he sounds a bit like a prophet announcing the second coming.
I mean, I like the guy but c'mon. The John the Baptist routine is a bit tough to swallow.

And yet the word gets out.
Not as quickly or widely as ideally hoped for, but word does now get out where 20 years ago it would not.
