— Ace Will someone please ask this on television?
I think it's a winner.
Do you feel that Obama is the man that he promised you he'd be? Do you feel like he's the man the media promised you he'd be? Do you think he was sold by himself and the media accurately, or do you think they have greatly exaggerated his capabilities, qualifications, expertise and judgement? Do you think you were sold on Obama honestly, or do you think you've been taken for a little bit of a ride?
Rewritten: I initially had a stupid, stupid post about this question up. I have disappeared it and withdrawn it because it was so stupid.
Sometimes I have stupid ideas and think they're smart, then I realize I'm just a stupid ass. Which means...
Integrative Complexity
You've got to be pretty smart to make as many mistakes as me and Mensa-Carpool-Buddy Obama do.

It's like the guy who developed the atomic butterfly net. He showed to a colleague: "See? You put the net over the target, press the button and BLAM! Everything in a quarter-mile radius vaporized."
His colleague asked, "And how long is that handle?"
The mad scientist looked at the six-foot handle, shook his head and went back to the drawing board.
All I'm saying is, start pushing the questions yourself and THEN invite the candidates to jump aboard if they want to glom onto that meme (which, I hasten to add, is a really good one).

Streamline the question and introduce it with a framing statement, then follow it with a leading choice question:
Obama and the media covering his campaign promised you that he would be a certain kind of President. Has he lived up to that promise? If not, do you think he just couldn't cut it, or do you think he deliberately sold you a bill of goods about his qualifications and judgment?

See, that's a tough one. Because to the electorate as a whole he was sold as a post-partisan moderate, if not a conservative. Remember his issues were ending the war without losing, cutting taxes, and cleaning up the government.
To the left though he was sold as a hard core socialist.
And he has certainly delivered on the latter. The former? More wars, more taxes, much more corruption.

Underground
Under water grottos, caverns
Filled with apes
That eat figs.
Stepping on the figs
That the apes
Eat, they crunch.
The apes howl, bare
Their fangs, dance,
Tumble in the
Rushing water,
Musty, wet pelts
Glistening in the blue.

Caught the end of Bennies presser. Short version:
Patting little people on the head, "Yes gas prices are unfortunate and headline inflation is hard, but a temporary inconvenience. Are there no soup kitchens? Buck up".
Hilarious projection of like 3.3% GDP growth for year, 'core' inflation of 1+%, whatever. A Chinese racehorse spews less horsesh*t.
Q1 GDP has been revised down to 1.4% with more revisions to come and clearly we're past all that happiness now.
Bennie hopes he's "telegraphed our intent" adequately, meaning a rise in over-night rates imminent and QE3 following a pause to gauge the 'success' of QELite.
Translation, we raise prime to stop inflation in its tracks and continue to press ducats.

I can't imagine the number that voted for him just because it was a historic opportunity to have the first black American president, that wasn't Jesse Jackson. And I get it. Even up here in Canada, my god-daughter's family, black but not American, were THRILLED with THE ONE. I don't think most American's could get past race, even if the media did it's job and bitch-slapped them hard with reality. He was still going to be the first black President if they voted for him. So they voted for him.
The number had to be high. But Hugh Hewitt or Dennis Pragar were pointing out before the election, that the historic first lasts 6 months, tops, and then you're dragged back to reality.
For most of the young people and the black people, that reality is a real unemployment rate of what, about 25%.
For all of us, reality means skyrocketing gas prices, MASSIVE increase in the debt, and a horribly expanded government, that honestly, scares the crap out of me. Maybe though, considering how things were going with entitlements, we were going to hit that wall eventually and Obama just accelerated the train into overdrive.

Can you imagine a Conservative saying.
"I mean ina way Palin is standing above the country above....above the world, in a way she's God (or Godette)."
Just imagine how many libtard pants would be shyte.
And imagine Palin wrote this!!!!!!!!!
"Underground" (by Barack Obama)Barack Obama wrote this poem as an undergraduate:
Underground
Under water grottos, caverns
Filled with apes
That eat figs.
Stepping on the figs
That the apes
Eat, they crunch.
The apes howl, bare
Their fangs, dance,
Tumble in the
Rushing water,
Musty, wet pelts
Glistening in the blue.
– Barack Obama

There was a line of thought that went, "OK, so maybe he's not experienced -- but everyone says he's really smart, so he'll catch on and learn the job as he goes, especially with an old Washington hand like Biden there to give him advice."
And it didn't take very long for him to demonstrate to anyone with a drop of intellectual honesty that he really is untrainable.

Heard that scientists find the the gulf has pretty much recovered: it got a score of 69 v. a 70 score pre-BP spill.

As someone who voted for Obama, I don't know that I did it because of the "stagecraft" or whatever. It was conservatives that seemed more concerned with this. And, sure, there were a lot of 18 year olds who bought the hype. But I remember that with Bush and Clinton, too. You reach a certain age, and you look past the campaign ads, they are a factor.... but I don't watch Oprah and could care less about who she thinks I should vote for.
The biggest area where Obama has failed to live up to the hype is not in "breaking" his campaign promises... he simply failed to be "post-partisan." I wish I could have predicted the profound level of disrespect that the GOP would channel against Obama... but I kind of imagined that the Republicans had enough dignity not to scream at the President during the State of the Union speech. So, yeah, I am disappointed. But I don't know that someone who rabidly hates the President is in a position to criticize him for being occasionally offensive.
I'm not trying to be a troll here.... I'm just saying that I don't think people feel "betrayed" by the fact that Obama is constantly trying to make deals, delivers on some of his promises, and gives in on others. He's a centrist. I'd prefer to live in a world where I get what I want only half the time. On the other hand, I think you ask the question in the blog:
Do you feel that Obama is the man that he promised you he'd be? Do you feel like he's the man the media promised you he'd be? Do you think he was sold by himself and the media accurately, or do you think they have greatly exaggerated his capabilities, qualifications, expertise and judgement? Do you think you were sold on Obama honestly, or do you think you've been taken for a little bit of a ride?"
Now I am offering an earnest answer. You troll for information like this, no need to offended that someone is actually bothering to answer the question that you wish a reporter would ask someone. Maybe you wish I'd answer differently ("Oh I am so disappointed that I am going to vote for Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney!"), but what can I say?

Obama had grown incredulous at the overall debate. He had watched as even Republican House Speaker John Boehner and Republican Rep. Paul Ryan had been sucked into the discussion of his birthplace, aides said. In his own interview prep sessions, Obama was warned that the “birther” subject might arise – even though it had subsided from the headlines for more than two years since the presidential campaign. Finally, on April 19, in a meeting with White House counsel Bob Bauer, the president asked about the feasibility of getting his long-form birth certificate at last.
“It wasn’t one specific thing” that tipped the scales, a senior administration official said. But Trump was a major factor …
ItÂ’s sure is nice to see that Obama came to the aid of Boehner and Ryan.

Fun? Why, it would be a celebration of togetherness. People all over the world with one goal, one singular thought, one integratively complex leader. With everyone in total agreement, we would have no more wars. The eating of tofu would be a universal language. And nobody would smoke cigarettes or cigars, except, of course, our god-king.

Besides, Thai trannies are much better looking than the SF variety.
