Please discuss the Steelers-Jets game here.
Oh, and no cheerleaders, the Steelers don't have any.
Update
It's the Steelers and Packers in the Superbowl.
Both teams backed into the Superbowl and put up poor performances in the second half of their games.
Whew!

Seeing as the Bears have lost, shall I root for the Steelers or Jets. Or, in other words, who is more likely to stuff the Pack?
Steelers. Root for the Steelers

We still make a lot of steel and have rebounded in jobs with tech and medicine. UPMC is one of the best cancer hospitals in the world. We have CMU and robotics, and as i said before a lot of steel and coke plants. Actually the largest coke plant in our hemisphere is located in pittsburgh.

OK Green Bay did their part but to make sure Jugears doesn't decide to go watch the steelers I think I'm rooting for the jets.
Sounds like a good plan to me. I'm still a bit afraid Bammy might decide to come to the Superbowl, once he started thinking about it. He said he'd come if the Bears won, but he didn't say he wouldn't come otherwise.
The only, and I mean only, redeeming possibility I can think of in him coming to the DFW metroplex would be the photo op of mister "at some point, you've made enough money"/"I think we need to spread it around" along with "money makes the monkey dance" uber-capitalist Jerry Jones. Would love to be a fly on the wall if some industrious reporter got the two of them discussing their economic theories.

Selfish bitch. In HS, we had a girl (barely, she was a serious bulldyke) who demanded to play on the freshman team. Even though they went easy on her, of course she got the crap beat out of her. The only down side of steeler football and the way they dominate, is that they never blow out. The Steelers probably have had the ball 25 of the first 30 minutes, but they're only up 17.

#1: What do the jets need to do to get back into this game?
#2: Well, they have to stop the run and the deep pass.
#1: And on the offensive side?
#2: They need to establish the run and connect on some deep passes.
#1: Excellent points, it should be an exciting second half.

294 The coach had put together the perfect team for the Steelers. The only thing that was missing was a good quarterback. He had scouted all the colleges and even the Canadian and European Leagues, but he couldn't find a ringer who could ensure a Super Bowl win. Then one night while watching CNN he saw a war-zone scene in Afghanistan . In one corner of the background, he spotted a young Afghan soldier with a truly incredible arm. He threw a hand-grenade straight into a 15th story window 100 yards away.

The problem is that I would need a partner and really that would need to be my husband, 'cause I just can't envision finding anyone else I'd want to spend that much time with. But I am sure I'd be a lousy driver. So even with the handicap on scoring (and the different tee positions) it would probably wind up being very frustrating to have to hit the ball so many more times than he'd have to.
I wish they made a "real" golf course that was pitching and putting so physically different players could really play together. I don't know why the PGA hasn't figured out there's a market for that. They seem to be trying to get more people to golf, including women, but they don't seem to get that for a lot of us the driving is intimidating. I mentioned it to Billy, but I could tell he didn't know what I was talking about. I think he mostly works with men and all they want to do is drive.
We will probably still try going to one of those week-long golf classes sometime and see if we can get good enough to enjoy it casually.
Watching it is still fun. The courses are beautiful, the announcers tend to not be annoying (except for that McCord guy and that one Australian who can be kind of a snit), the players are almost all nice, and it's fun to watch the different strategies and strengths and weaknesses of the players. I like Phil, even though I know he's not the most disciplined player.

Congress should stop this needless scoring of football games unevenly, and legislate that all games must end in a tie with the scores added and divided between the teams. That's the only fair way to play the game and make it a compatible with our "social justice" agenda.
