— Ace Because the darned hamsters double-posted.
Below, another great video from RD. Content warning for the F-word and some hilarious harm.
Anyone ever notice that whenever young men are walking around without shirts (you see this on COPS a lot), bad things are afoot?
I think there should be a special category. This comes up a lot. It needs an official category designation.
That category is:
Dude, What Did You Think Was Going To Happen?
This situation didn't sneak up on them. They set this up.
What did they think was going to happen when they fired a firework into the goon's groin?
Granted, I guess there was some surprise that it stuck there, but all the possibilities in play here were on the negative side of the ledger.
What was the very best case scenario we had in mind here, lads?

Wow! Has this already been posted yet? I've been in and out this a.m.
(Reuters) - Syrian security forces shot dead at least 20 protesters on Friday as hundreds of thousands of people staged the biggest protests so far against President Bashar al-Assad, witnesses and rights groups said.
Assad, facing the greatest challenge to 40 years of Baath Party rule, has sought to crush demonstrations that broke out in March. But although rights groups say some 1,400 civilians have been killed, the protests have grown.
"These are the biggest demonstrations so far. It is a clear challenge to the authorities, especially when we see all these numbers coming out from Damascus for the first time," said Rami Abdelrahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Activists and witnesses said police fired live ammunition and teargas in the capital Damascus and suburbs, killing at least 11 people
And no strongly worded statement from the WH about Syria. But Libya, that's where it's at, man!

Re: Your letter
Dear Sir:
We here at National Public Radio most cordially invite you to go fuck yourself. You refuse to send us so much as a nickel in the future? Heaven forfend! Whatever shall we do without the deep pockets and famously generous donations of one "Sherlock?" However shall we survive? Please understand that it is actually impossible for us to hold you in less regard or greater contempt. You mean nothing to us as individuals and even less to National Public Radio as an institution. Your pathetic gesture/threat/what-have-you will, however, remain a source of much derisive laughter from now until the stars burn out.
As noted in the opening, your complaint has been placed in the Go Fuck Yourself file and is now considered closed. No further action, aside from the aforementioned eternal mocking, will be taken on this matter. I would normally thank you for writing to express your concerns; however, as aforementioned, you mean nothing to National Public Radio. So, in conclusion, and on behalf of National Public Radio and all of its employees, allow me to extend to you a final go fuck yourself.
P.S. Go fuck yourself
P.P.S. And once more for good measure: go fuck yourself.

I don't care if he plays for the other team, he's hawt and he knows how to break it down so idiot Americans can understand just how bad things are. From Congressman Aaron Schock's "Schock Report":
The latest unemployment report continues to offer disappointing news as the rate increased from 9.1 percent to 9.2 percent. While 18,000 jobs were created, this amounts to roughly 385 jobs per state - hardly enough to cover one large class of this year's graduating high school seniors.

Here is Obama's assessment of the problem:
"And here’s the good news — it turns out we don’t have to do anything radical to solve this problem. Contrary to what some folks say, we’re not Greece, we’re not Portugal. It turns out that our problem is we cut taxes without paying for them over the last decade; we ended up instituting new programs like a prescription drug program for seniors that was not paid for; we fought two wars, we didn’t pay for them; we had a bad recession that required a Recovery Act and stimulus spending and helping states — and all that accumulated and there’s interest on top of that."
And here is Obama's solution:
"And to unwind that, whatÂ’s required is that we roll back those tax cuts on the wealthiest individuals, that we clean up our tax code so weÂ’re not giving out a bunch of tax breaks to companies that donÂ’t need them and are not creating jobs, we cut programs that we donÂ’t need, and we invest in those things that are going to help us grow."
==========================================
First thing we do: Tax the rich some more.
Second thing we do: More taxes.
Third: Cut spending on programs TBD (to be decided later).
Fourth: We spend more money.

This is my favorite part of Obama's bullshit town hall/presser:
"Just to be very specific, weÂ’ve identified over a trillion dollars in discretionary cuts, both in defense and domestic spending. ThatÂ’s hard to do. I mean, that requires essentially that you freeze spending. And when I say freeze, that means youÂ’re not getting inflation so that these are programmatic cuts that, over the course of 10 years, youÂ’d be looking at potentially a 10 percent cut in domestic spending."
Spending at current levels for the next 10 years = 10% cut in spending!!!
Wow -- Obama can contort logic, break the laws of economics, and turn spending into a bargain.
