— Ace I'm beginning to think there's something wrong with me.
Am I not worthy? What, I don't rate? (Now that I think about it: Hat tip to Dom Irera. That's his joke.)
More pictures of Weiner. Oh my dear sweet raging schadenboner.
Now he's taking semi-nude and nude pictures of himself at the Congressional gym.
I'm linking the full-nude holding-his-package pic. It's actually pretty safe for work. You can also see it at Weasel Zippers if you'd prefer to give them the traffic.
But it's hard to pick a favorite. Oh wait, no it's not.
TMZ has confirmed the pics were sent online to at least one woman.
I'm going to make a philosophical point here. Please do not mistake this for "going soft" on Weiner. (Believe me, I'm not gettin' soft at all, IYKWIMAITYD.)
Think about where Anthony Weiner was 15 days ago. Puffed-up bantam of a partisan venom-spitter -- a liberal cockatrice -- and a big fightin' hero on MSNBC and Daily Kos and partisan hate-rallies (like the Wisconsin rally he was scheduled to attend). Generally considered to be the prime contender for the next mayor of New York City.
And after getting serious executive experience... who knows what next.
Think about where he is now.
Now think about what caused this.
No, don't say "immoral behavior" or "reckless sexual compulsiveness" or "hubris" or the "entitlement of the putative elite" or "the need of high-functioning, modern men to take the edge off."
Yes, those caused this, but they weren't the immediate cause of this. He was doing that stuff for years without any problems arising from it.
No, what caused all this was.... a typo.
The Typo From Hell. Possibly the worst typo in the history of politics.
Not saying he doesn't deserve it -- he does -- but consider that but for a single clumsy move by an errant left forefinger, none of this happens.
The smallest error of a fingertip, and a man is wholly undone.
Just a little mindblowing.
I can't even comprehend how deeply that twitch of a fingertip is burned into his brain at this point. How he has revisited and revisited a single errant keystroke.
Thanks to George Orwell.

#1. There was more than just a single shirtless photo going on there. Mr. Lee had apparently been enough of a poonhound to have been called in for several chats with the House GOP leadership before the photo surfaced.
#2. We actually have some standards.

Imagine that fifteen years from now President Weiner is laid low by some long forgotten pictures of his tumid post that he sent a 14 year old girl back in 2012. Revenge is sweet for the now thirty something woman as Weiner's resignation catapults her new thrill, VP Debbie Wasserman Schultz, into the White House.

A typo didn't cause this.
'This' has apparently been going on for quite some time. Long enough for many, many people to be aware of it. Hell, there were people on twitter who went so far as to monitor his actions, and try to steer gorls/young women away from the freak.
All they got for their troubles was to be branded stalkers.
Any chance that's how it would have played out had Wiener been a Republican? Didn't think so.
No, what cause this was power (a sad-loser-dweeb getting elected to Congress) combined with the internet (where he could play up his Congressional office, and avoid the limiations of his in-person sad-loser-dweebiness) in an atmosphere of zero-consequences (due to a media chock full of enablers pathologically incapable of, and categorically unwilling to perform any meaningful oversight on their chosen political favorites.)

Just what goes on with our new self-appointed Ruling Class?
It seems to me that they spend all day abusing their authority and positions of privilege, stopping only occasionally to turn the screws on us a bit more in order to further enrich themselves and strengthen their grip on power.
They're not only malevolent, they're also lazy, incompetent, and thoroughly debauched.
I'm so angry at these fuckers and everything they've done to harm my country that I no longer feel anything towards them but disgust and hatred.

I hope that Congress is found to be impotent in facing down Weiner and that he does the full hangout until the inescapable conclusion to even the currently disinterested is that we have out of control entitlement in this country sponsored, enacted and demonstrated by the Leftists in government.
It would actually help in the short run if they can't get rid of him.
This as an example of how pervasive the influence of these degenerates, and how they have contaminated everything, including middle school education.

"Rep. Steny Hoyer (D., Md.), the House minority whip, said he did not believe Weiner could effectively represent his constituents and urged him to step aside.
'I would hope that Mr. Weiner would use this opportunity to reflect on whether he can proceed,' Hoyer said, speaking on CBS's "Face The Nation. 'I don't see how he can and I hope he would make that judgment.'"
So the theme of the morning is that the Dems want Weiner gone but they're letting him decide whether he'll stay. Surely they must realize that this current strategy makes them look weak.

The real story now is the Make Believe Media. They have been trying to bury this story since the beginning. At first, they said "nothing to see here, move along".
Then they apparently got their wires crossed on the instructions to make a bigger story out of Sarah Palin's emails, recruiting the townsfolk to lynch her..
Somebody gave the instruction to folllow Anthony Weiner's lead and they thought he said to go out and grab some virtual posse.

Would someone please tell me what he is in rehab for???? I did not know that scumbags-anonymous had a rehab program. This is such an obvious and phony set-up. He does the mea culpa, the leadership of the Dems say get out, he comes back from rehab a changed man and they say 'we tried to get him to resign - sigh.' They want him to stay or they would be setting up expulsion procedures. Please do not fall for this transparent script. It pisses me off big time that I am paying for his rehab. I haven't moved past the fact that he has a $10,000 to $15,000 monthly American Express bill.

Ha! Maybe I deserve it. She is a beautiful woman. I renounce myself.
Hey do you think Weiner was texting her? I guess she isn't his type maybe a little "womanly" for the man child. However was Weiner twittering with any celebs? Remember how Scar-jo was texting Obama? I am sure Weiner would love to have had some serious star power in his sexting harem.

Admit it. If Weiner did the old "Ahh well you got me.... and I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you meddling morons and that stupid Ace!"

He's supposedly shocked that his mentee lied to him. Dems believe and teach their younger members that it doesn't matter if you lie when it benefits you, so I don't see why Chuckie is surprised that Weiner lied to him.
