— andy Seems the Obama administration just can't keep anyone on its economics team for very long. Imagine that.
Less than a year after he was named chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, Goolsbee plans to return to his teaching job at the University of Chicago, the Obama administration said in a statement. He will be back in Chicago in time for the start of the next school year.Goolsbee said he looks forward to returning to the classroom environment, where Keynesian economics always works like the models predict.
I may have made that last part up.
Dramatic reenactment below the fold.

Here's a nice story from David Horowitz' Front Page Mag.
The Arabic news website, Al Arabiya, has the sordid details, including a video of Mutairi addressing the topic of sex-slavery. I summarize and translate various excerpts below (note: I am not making any of this up).
The Kuwaiti activist begins by insisting that “it’s of course true” that “the prophet of Islam legitimized sex-slavery.”Posted by: ontherocks at June 07, 2011 03:27 AM (HBqDo)

Also interesting that since he must have known a date when his tenured slot became a problem to retain before he took the WH gig, the only reason to leave prematurely is that he thinks things are really going to hit the fan and he wants to be far far away when that happens. Otherwise, he would stay around and plan to collect the post-WH largesse from the O cronies.

I read last night on HA that one of the MFM outlets put out the the nice little statistic that the percentage of the unemployed that have been unemployed for over 6 months now exceeds that of the Great Depression. Goolsbee must not have thought that was much of a resume booster.
All joking aside, the economy is going to get worse. President Obama has absolutely no interest in changing any of his policies despite the misery he is inflicting. But hey, why let that get in the way of a good golf game?

They will go back to academia where it's safe for them to once again theoretically talk about economics and socialism in a way that no real facts or ill effects will reveal hos ill-advised and destructive their worldview is. They will talk gratuitously about how they "never got to finish the job" and how "Republicans coming into the House in 2010 destroyed everything they were trying to accomplish". They will try to destroy another generation of students with their liberal brainwashing. Oh, if they only had more time... Ever notice how it is never enough time? Never.

BO reaches new lows:
Americans' disapproval of how President Barack Obama is handling the economy and its growing budget deficit has reached new highs amid broad frustration over the slow pace of economic recovery, according to a Washington Post-ABC New poll released on Tuesday.
The ratings boost Obama received after the killing of Osama bin Laden has dissipated with his job approval rating back to 47 percent. Forty-nine percent disapprove of his performance.
Obama's approval rating bounced to 56 immediately after bin Laden was killed last month.
Fifty-nine percent, a new high, gave Obama negative marks for his handling of the economy, up from 55 percent a month earlier.
Obama's approval rating on the deficit issue hit a new low of 33 percent, down 6 points since April.
...
Eighty-nine percent of Americans say the economy is in bad shape; 57 percent say the recovery has not started and 66 percent said the United States was seriously on the wrong track.
Forty-five percent said they trust congressional Republicans over Obama to handle the economy, up 11 points since March.

That is generally not a problem at the prestigious universities like U. of Chicago. On June 2, Weiner sent Lee a proposed statement she could give to the press: "I have nothing to do with the situation involving Rep Weiner. I follow his twitter feed. And for a brief time he followed me. Much has been made of the fact that I have posted about my admiration for Rep Weiner and his politics. All I can say about that is that I'm a fan of his. Rep. Weiner sent me one short direct message thanking me for following him. I have never met Rep. Weiner and he has never sent me anything innappopriate (sic) ..."
Weiner then asked Lee directly, "How's it [the proposed statement] feel?"

Actually Keynesian appeals to intellegent people.
It appeals to their vanity. They think they know what is best for other people and in Keynesian economics they have a system which allows them to implement their ideas and have control over the "less intellegent people"
It's not a coincidence governments the world over love an economic system that gives them near total control over the economy.

Keynesian Romney
Socialist Romney
Globalist Financier Romney, "investing" in the take down of American Industry
NO business experience building either America's manufacturing industry or managing a manufacturing business.
...just another Ivy Beleaguered politician like all the others "properly schooled" to gut American ingenuity and American Industry for his own personal profit.
Tralala, the Olympic Savior. Even Olympic Athletes grow up and get a "real" job of sorts. His entrance re-enacted the Seagull "saving" Utah's official face from international shame. In reality, the NEED for an Olympian Savior god was because Utah contractors took payment but failed to provide services and meet deadlines. Hence the NEED for the authoritarian strong-arm from the Mormon Priesthood Hierarchy that requires obedient cooperation from every Mormon (in this case Mormon owned businesses in Utah, namely construction wherein all concerned interests inconveniently/conveniently failed to organize performance of contracted services while under secular Olympic authority, taking moneys paid for services not rendered). The miraculous myth of Mitt was born. What? Utah businesses would effectively cheat the Olympics unless the "right" Mormons got paid off, as things played out naming Mitt In Charge. Not so different from the Chicago Political Machine.
No More.
No working class American deserves being a slave to anti-US and/or pro-UN financiers directing the rape of humanity. And no nation prospers without a healthy and prosperous working class of CITIZENS rather than the parasitic white collar overlords of bureaucracy who also presume to be above the law. In our case, American citizens are protected by the US Constitution that protects the Rights of States and leaves EVERYONE equal under the law, with absolutely no special provisions or status to non-citizen legal residents, let alone the illegal aliens.
BTW, where are the factual records "proving" the Gopper elitist mantra that the wealthiest 10% of Americans claim to already be paying the bulk of US taxes. Hannity claimed that the top 10% income earners pay over 80% of taxes collected by the IRS. That's sheer propaganda. The wealthiest Americans have the money to legally evade paying taxes, saving a bulk of what taxes are assigned their bracket by taking advantage of loopholes. The only Americans fully paying their assigned bracket tax burden are the working class. And the only one's benefiting from the economic and political demise of formerly sovereign nations are the globalist financiers to whom Mitt Romney and Rick Perry cow tail as puppets.
No need for morons to cry "Class Envy!" to discredit reality, as if the establishment's propaganda were true, and as if perpetuating their corrupt status quo is a "safe" bet, a "winnable" bet. Sure, win the booby prize to hell in a hand basket.
Mitt Romney is just a facade for those in his deceitfully corrupt and constructively inept Ivy Beleaguering opportunists, betting against US industry, against the Dollar and against America while waving our US Flag in our face to get our vote.
No More of That.

The modern moral of the ancient story, eating fruit from the Tree of Knowledge to distinguish good from evil, is that our eyes have been opened and we do see and UNDERSTAND. Though life is full of hardship, there's no easier route to slavery and death than to use your free will to remain blind and bound to ignorance, despite having eyes to see, to forfeit the virtue acknowledging our Rights protected by our own US Constitution.
I will cast my vote for the preservation and utilization of our Constitution in limiting governance, and hence in cutting away parasitic federal bureaucracies that exercise authoritarian, anti-constitutional and illegitimate federal powers. Cut spending by surgically removing authoritarianism from governance. That's the platform I support, despite odds.
RINO Gopper elitists refuse to taint themselves as "radical" by affiliating officially to support our "inconvenient" Constitution. To hell with such "leadership". I don't deserve such "leadership", and I'd never curse anyone who loves the Constitution by saying that America deserves more of the economic destruction and authoritarian abuses that our "winnable" politicians are bringing down on our taxpayer heads, while simultaneously reigning down destruction upon the heads of the world's various populations at US taxpayer expense.
Placing what various voters "want" aside, and placing aside what legal limitations exist in Constitutional Governance, we American citizens can not afford taxes to grant every person every wish to come true.
