Those IP/server logs would settle the issue definitively, but LEOs can't subpoena if the 'victim' won't report the crime.

Yfrog, like every other service out there (including Twitter, WordPress, Flickr, Blogger, and Tumblr), has a photo upload service by email. If you are logged into your account, you have access to that email.
Furthermore, if you authorize Yfrog to do so, you can post a picture to Twitter from the account using your secret email.
f you go into your Twitter settings, you can find out if yfrog is authorized to post pictures to your account. ItÂ’s under Settings>Applications. It even tells you the date and time you logged in. Ben Evans from 24thstate demonstrated this and took the screenshot....
Weiner was able to get into yfrog that night because he was logged into Twitter. He says he had never been there before. You can see how he got it from the Twitter login above. Prior to him approving the yfrog login, no one could have posted a photo to his Twitter account. Go ahead and try it. Go to the Twitter settings, remove authorization for yfrog, then send yourself a photo from the secret email address. Nothing happens.
Far from being a security flaw, or evidence of a hack, yfrog demonstrates how not to let someone into your account unless you approve it.

It's essentially a password. And for all the trying of the left, no one has shown this secret email address is publicly available. They are trying really hard, but they need to show where Weiner stupidly posted what's basically a password online. I don't see that happening.
Weiner can't overcome the fact that he said he can't deny that being his crotch shot. He can't overcome how he refused to deny what happened, in that awkward 9 minute interview, where his guilt is frankly obvious.
And of course, he can't overcome the fact that he alone stands in the way of Twitter and Yfrog revealing the IP of whoever uploaded that image. It is silly to pretend he's protecting this information for any reason other than CYA. He has access to the one thing that would deflate or prove this was his dicpic. And he keeps that option closed.
So sure, it's possible, theoretically, that someone knew his twitter password, or secret email, or programed a backdoor into twitter, or we are all living in the matrix and this is Agent Smith or Neo's doing. But all that is implausible as hell.

I just don't understand why he didn't try to throw a staffer under the bus. The staffer would get placed in the 'Democratic Protection Program' where Dems in scandals find a way to fail upward while Weiner would be able to say it was a bad joke that he took care of.
I think it not being a huge story when it broke actually will help nab him. He thought he could just say whatever and that it would blow over.
It seems like it was good ace kept the story alive, and good that is was lightly covered at first giving Weiner plenty of time to commit himself to an awful explanation when the story did explode.

Left unsolved:

Well he did pass Michele Bachmann, which is some giant thing for him considering how much he hates her. However, he's now down to making jokes to other members of Congress (on Twitter and in person) that he's surpassed their number of followers. While it's not surprising given his personality, it makes him look even more pathetic.
