— DrewM Not entirely confirmed but it sounds more and more likely he was either killed or wounded after being captured when his hometown fell to the rebels/interim government.
Former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi died of wounds suffered on Thursday as fighters battling to complete an eight-month-old uprising against his rule overran his hometown Sirte, Libya's interim rulers said. His killing, which came swiftly after his capture near Sirte, is the most dramatic single development in the Arab Spring revolts that have unseated rulers in Egypt and Tunisia and threatened the grip on power of the leaders of Syria and Yemen.
"He (Gaddafi) was also hit in his head," National Transitional Council official Abdel Majid Mlegta told Reuters. "There was a lot of firing against his group and he died."
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Justice.
Sergeants Kenneth Ford and James Goins.
And the 243 passengers and crew of Pan Am 103.

the only true bounces he's gotten post-midterms is the post-Gabby Giffords shooting after a bipartisan deal on Taxes and the Osama Bin Laden killing bounce. His approval has not passed 53% since his 1st year. So basically this guy ain't getting a bounce.

That's not a good sign. Either they sympathize with the man or they don't feel any obligation to pay us back with a gesture that would cost them nothing.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.
Where ever Obama goes, witness the downfall of what yet held value.
Witness the downfall of the Libyan nation where women enjoyed equal access to education and professional career, no longer to be. Where oil profits actually BUILT infrastructure streets hospitals and schools, and provided living means for citizens, no longer. Where oil profits were charitably directed into actual infrastructure construction benefiting poor African countries, no longer. Where black Africans and Arabic Africans were officially equal, no longer. In the name of justice, admit what chaos we've caused; we ruined another entire nation of people. Don't twist this bloodbath into reason to celebrate. Recognize through Obama's Libyan war, al-Qaeda as cia operative gone wild. Expect the worst to come.
If we're killed, I certainly hope the world does go to war!
Artistic license, enjoy. But mark the stark contrast. 2011 Arab Spring is not to oust European colonialism and promote a secular United Arab League. The Muslim Brotherhood are nothing noble. And so far as America is concerned with this Arab Fall, make mincemeat of this administration. Otherwise, there's No Apple Pie '12.

The people who vote for Romney in the primary share in that as well.
It's no secret that the majority of conservatives do not want Romney. If he is pushed on us by the manipulation of the primaries, then the ones who accomplished that bear the blame for Obama getting a 2nd term.

I'm glad to see Gadaffi finally offed. Took too long, really.
But replacing him with a bunch of Muzzie fanatics who will follow in Big Mo's footsteps -- repression, the amassing of personal wealth (a good bit of it from the U.S. treasury) while the citizens starve, and so on -- hardly seems a positive step.
Will there be less corruption, less hatred of America in Libya now? Nope.

These days it can be difficult to see your way clearly through these relentless cascading charades presented as reality.
But I am sure of one thing.
We can't conflate the task of separating the establishment RINO's and commie enablers from the GOP and removing the marxist shit stain that is SCOAMF.
Maybe the GOP will eventually have to go the way of the Whigs, but first things first. The most deadly enemy to individual rights and freedoms has largely concentrated in the Dem/Left/commie Party.
They need the first beating. Let's focus on that for now.

Pretty typical... a grainy, shaky video of a dead body being kicked around by a mob of screaming Muslims. Gee, never saw anything like that before.

Who What Why
Russ Baker, June 6, 2011
"Libya: Connect the Dots-You Get a Giant Dollar Sign"
#154 link: The Clinton administration spent $205-million tax-dollars simply preparing the Norwegian former US Military facility for the trial of the two Libyan suspects that led to Megrahi's conviction. That figure doesn't even consider the costs for the undiplomatic diplomacy, delivery of one ultimatum after another, and then the court costs of the trial. And unlike Osama bin Laden who was at least indicted by a NY District Court, the US Justice Dept. never intended to "bring the terrorists to justice" or in the case with Gaddafi, even to bother with an indictment. Simply start a war, allied with al Qaeda, and kill Gaddafi rather than take him alive given the opportunity to "Don't Shoot!" and annihilate any black Africans you come across in Libya. Spread the seeds of war, so as to incur another and another without end, certainly without logical let alone Constitutional purpose. Go to Forbes and read that given war, there is no law.
Kolakeia, suckers. Any "meaning" in the Constitution is archaic, dead, and no longer applies. Let go of your Constitutional Governance, you damned, bitter conservatives.

It's no secret that the majority of conservatives do not want Romney. If he is pushed on us by the manipulation of the primaries, then the ones who accomplished that bear the blame for Obama getting a 2nd term.

Never mind that now there's not a hope in hell for negotiating nuke stuff with Iran or North Korea. Who could believe me?

The number of asses that our Hollywood leftist pseudo-commies now have to suck up to are becoming more selective.

The only problem I have with this...is setting the precedent for other nations to assassinate our own dearly beloved politicians.
Friends of mine died in that barracks bombing...but...wtf were we doing there in the first place? Why were we a part of a UN 'peace-keeping' mission? (That all happened on Reagan's watch, too.)

We would be hearing and seeing a remorseful press talking about the good things Gadaffi did.
I tell my wife every day that we now live in the Soviet Republic of Amerika. We lost it all.
