— Guest Blogger Unfortunately, many cable providers are still not carrying the Fox Business channel so some of you might not be able to watch Stuart Varney's Varney & Company. Which is a shame. It airs after Don Imus signs off around 9:20 AM. Frequent panelist Charles Payne was guest hosting the show this morning and interviewed “Our Time" President Matthew Segal.
I had never heard of "Our Time" before, so I looked it up. It apparently exists to "stand up for people under 30", whatever that means. Anyway, this chucklehead claims to represent the Occupy Wall Street crowd and he took several hilariously ridiculous positions throughout the interview. Positions like "this isn't anti-capitalism" and "we're trying to work". He even managed to somehow stumble into claiming they were down there to "mourn the death of Steve Jobs".
I'm a big fan of Charles Payne and he doesn't disappoint in this clip. It was a thorough dressing-down of fringe lefty loon. It was also the closest I've ever seen a guest come to being laughed off the air.
Payne is on Twitter, as well. Follow him here.

You want to talk about voting my bottom line? I'd cast my ballot for any candidate who promised to revise the bankruptcy laws to undo the abomination of the 2002 Bankruptcy Act that made student loan debt undischargeable in bankruptcy for any reason. You can get a fresh state with pretty much ANYTHING else...except student loans. It was a giveaway to big banks and lenders and is the sort of thing that conservatives could wholeheartedly support AND would be wildly popular with young post-graduates as well as their parents.
Oh, and this guy on with Payne is a fucking moron.

According to Fox the other day student loans only became undischargable via bankruptcy after the government took them over on Obama's watch.

You are fucking kidding!
Forgive student debt? Why? If you are so stupid that you thought that borrowing $150k to get a degree in African Interpretive Dance or Gender Studies was going to allow you entry into the middle class then you are profoundly, mind-numbingly stupid, and this country should bring back debtor's prisons to keep you out of the gene pool.
You borrowed too much and you can't pay it back?
Fuck you. Pay me.

The reasoning was that student loans were easy to get with no collateral. The default/bankruptcy rate was very high because the students had nothing to lose and no assets to capture.

New unemployment claims were higher this week than last week, but not by much.
In case you didn't spot the 'great news' in the above, it is the part about being 'not by much.' Experts say that is a sign of possible improvement in the labor market.

Oh yes forgiving student loans, that's a swell idea. Let's stick someone else AGAIN for their bills. Let's start them off right by teaching them to just walk away from a bill that they created. This fucking choad whining about high student loans, and high credit cards with few jobs availible makes me sick. Guess what douchenozzle, there's no guarantees in life you made your choices. Acting like a whining little bitch like you and the other 99%ers isn't going to help. This whole movement is brought to us by kids that have been fucking coddeld their whole life, everyone is a winner. We don't keep score. If there's no instant gratification they throw a temper tantrum. That's what we've raised. And nwo they are organizing hissy fits. Forgive their student loans? FUCK them. And everyone else who thinks this is a great idea. I am tried of paying more for my insurance because people don't pay theirs. I'm tired of paying more at the hospital because those same folks and the invaders use the ER's as their Dr. And I get to pay more. I get to pay more in interest on my credit card because whining little fucks like this guy walk away from their bills because they just had to have a new IPAD, Cell phone and Mac. Now I get to pay more for my used car because I had to pay for some other guy to get a cash for clunker. I get to pay more on a house because people took out loans they should have NEVER got. I get to pay more everywhere and everytime I turn around because of people like this. And we want to encourage people to be less responsible? Are there no consequences anymore? Or should I just go get a second job so some douchebag can walk away from every commitment he or she made? Why the hell am I responsible?

For cases filed after October 7, 1998, Student Loans are dischargeable only if you can prove that having to repay it would impose an "undue hardship" on you (as defined below).
(for cases filed PRIOR TO October 17, 2005, if the PROGRAM under which your student loan is issued, insured, administered is a FOR-profit, PRIVATE (non-government) entity, it may be dischargeable. However, if the program itself, such as LAL, GSL, etc. receives nonprofit funding by participation of nonprofit entities, the loan is not dischargeable in bankruptcy. For cases filed prior to October 7, 1998, student loans were dischargeable if they were in repayment status for a certain period of time).

Thanks, I just couldn't believe anyone that considers themselves conservative could even think of making it easy for people to walk away from a debt they owe. Just because other things might be easy to walk away from (and they shouldn't be) doesn't mean we should give away yet more. What struck me on this d-bags appearance on FOX was his saying the "deck is stacked against them" and they just want a "fair shot" Trasnlation, we want free shit and never want to work for it. It occured to me that this movement is driven by kids with an entitlement mentality and as a county we've fostered this attitude. The "everyone is a winner" and not keeping score at the ball game is coming home to roost. These spoiled little fucktards are throwing their tantrum now because life got tougher for them. YEa

I’ve thought about something Lenin called people like the Occupy Wall Streeters. He called them useful idiots. Why would he insult people on his own team – people critical to his victory? I think I know the answer. He called them useful because they could be recruited in large numbers for virtually any cause. He called them idiots because they would readily join any cause whether they understood what the cause was or not and whether or not the cause would be in their interest as long as the cause was against – something. Not for something, but against something – anything. One of the most telling reasons that I believe that Lenin called them idiots is because these people, who could come out in mass instantaneously to support something they had absolutely no clue about, could just as easily be convinced that they should be willing to die for that random, nebulous cause. And they would willing go and die for it. That makes them dangerous idiots.

I call bullshit too. "Thousands" in MBM-speak can mean anywhere from 2,000 to 900,000. I saw pics from USA today of the other cities the movement was supposedly spread to, and the pic of the protest in downtown LA was 3 idiots in rain slickers with a day-glo sign. You're going to run into more hobos walking to City Hall than that.
As I said, Wall Street itself held business as usual today, and if by chance business was affected, phone calls would be made and a rather nervous CEO of the MBM head corporations would be passing the word down that the camera crews should find other stories to cover if they don't want to be part of the next headcount reduction

I could be wrong, but the tea party has arisen based on similar anger; it's just that the Tea Party members are deadbeat losers who hate capitalism.
My feeling is that the average person, Democrat or Republican, is mad as f**king hell at the whole g**damn power structure that has developed in America.
Democrats represent big government and the bureaucrats; Republicans represent big business. NOBODY, and I do mean nobody, gives a damn about the average guy (businessman, teacher, salesman, cop, etc.) who actually works for a living.
Democrats tell me if I just pay more and more and more in taxes, the government will fix everything. Republicans tell me they'll get the government "off my back," but NEVER, EVER do anything but expand governmental power when given the chance.
Here's all I truly know about Republicans: they hate unions with a f**king passion. Everything wrong with America is because of unions. If every state was simply a right to work state, all of our problems would disappear.
Here's all I truly know about Democrats: they hate the average, middle-class white dude with a burning passion. He is the utter enemy of everything multi-cultural, progressive, and good.
Unfortunately, I'm a socially and fiscally conservative, middle-class, white male union member.
So.... every worthless a$$hole Democrat hates my guts, and every f**king Republican claims that I'm single-handedly destroying the American economy because I make more than $11.00 an hour.
Here's my thinking: F*CK all y'all.
I'm saving my money, fishing, drinking, hunting, and taking care of my kids.
And lastly, I'm kicking each and every a$$hole who starts talking politics the hell out of my house.
GO TIGERS! F**K the Yankees, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, and all the rest of you.

True. They pay tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars for degrees that are not only useless but also make them less employable and have less understanding of how the world and life work. A person perfectly qualified to learn to be a plumber will never lower himself or herself to manual labor once they have a degree in feminist paradigms in contemporary literature. It is simply beneath their dignity. Therefore their chance of becoming a useful citizen is minimized and their chance of feeling oppressed by a repressive capitalist system is maximized.
But I don't expect anything to be done about it. It is those ivy league educations that make them so much better than us, that allow them to tell us how to run our lives, that allow them to look down on us so.

The Russians were so convinced of Lenin's genius that they studied his brain for decades looking for what made him such a genius. They came up with all kinds of BS little differences that they said they found to explain it - all bullshit.
If they every study SCOAMF's brain, I'm pretty sure they'll know right away that he is an idiot. Hell, without studying his brain they know.

He called them idiots because they would readily join any cause whether they understood what the cause was or not and whether or not the cause would be in their interest as long as the cause was against – something.
"For men to plunge headlong into an undertaking of vast change, they must be intensely discontented and yet not destitute, and they must have the feeling that by the possession of some potent doctrine, infalliable leader or some new technique they have access to a source of irresistable power. They must also have an extravagant conception of the prospects and potentialities of the future Finally, they must be wholly ignorant of the difficulties involved in their vast undertaking. Experience is a handicap."
Eric Hoffer, The True Believer
Your post put that into my mind. It may not apply exactly, but I think it's a pretty close picture of the idiots on Wall Street.

Just one of many examples of the leftists setting up capitalist instituions for the sole purpose of being villified by the, well, leftists.
It's also the reason I scratch my head when some say that F&F wasn't set up to attack the 2nd Amendment. It's the way they roll.

I would love to take credit for it, but "Fuck you. Pay me," is a line from the movie Goodfellas.
But the next line is a bit worrisome:

Well it doesn't work that way in a free society. If you want big companies to have less power than you need to learn what you really want is less government. Big government is the single best tool big business has to keep new competitors out of the market.

Can we please talk about the Preamble now? This could benefit the national discussion if steered that way. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ debate is about where in the fuck do we spend the money. Let's start with intent. Not sure about amendments and SCOTUS cases, but I am absolutely 100% fuckin sure of the Preamble reading "Promote" the General Welfare, not "Provide" the General Welfare. The framers knew that a healthy free economy could count on Charity and the blessings thereof. If a slim minority want to hoarde, so be it. Believe it or not, rich people are nice and they have hearts. Let that cream of the crop decide what to do with their money and I guaranfuckintee things will be okay. They have the odds and numbers. Plenty of room for greedy horders. Plenty of room for that. Unfortunately, SCoaMF is considered the "cream of the crop". He is either a financial retard or allinged so well with financial genius that he has positioned them all to split the booty promised to the elite few if the economy of the USA loses this global financial contest. When we put the incredible wealth of great people that created that incredible wealth into the hands of some 535 odd scumbags whose intentions and patriotism are unclear, we are rolling the dice at best.

Yes, but you left mass out of your 'equation.' As you enter the earth's surface, the mass of the earth above you is tending to pull you out, so it cancels some of the inward pull.
