We wanted to spread this thing around more, because it is so great.

Someone has put in a bit of work to here to recreate it in handy video form!

Thanks to Ace.

13 It is a really nice effort.  Devastatingly bad for the POTUS re-election prospects for anyone open-minded enough to look at it.

Has there been any substantial criticisms of the numbers/data/sources?  It's always hard to come up with solid numbers, so I was just wondering if there'd been much effort by Obamolytes to discredit it.

31 Has there been any substantial criticisms of the numbers/data/sources?

Not that I've seen and I've been following the links to the traffic sources.  There's been a fair amount "Bush caused it" comments, but the numbers are what they are.

One guy took issue with the gas prices because they took a pretty hard tumble at the end of 2008.  That's a fair point, but I just did a simple evaluation of the hard numbers so I don't feel like I'm distorting the record or anything.

All in all, you can't really "argue" with any of it.  It's just numbers and quotes.

It just goes to show how much of a puppet he is.  They push him out there, write him some speeches and throw him to the wolves as they sit in the background doing whatever they can to rob the taxpayer blind and line their coffers with billions.

The 2009 info stands out more than the 2011 info.  It's darker in color.  For low info viewers, those two graphics should either be the same depth of color or 2011 should stand out more.  Did anyone else notice that?

Except it's some kind of folksy slur, like maybe 'thi'is'.

Not to be raaaacist or anything by pointing it out, but since he parses so much crap in lawyerly deiniability, like 'this is a promise I have made' instead of I promise, or we guarantee, then I'd like to hold him to his 'just words'.

Can you imagine if what was done to Palin in 2008 had been done to Obama in 2004 when he emerged on to the national stage? At the very least, we wouldn't be so deep in the mess we're in now.

Won’t even let it even let it be debated. … Do they not have the time? They just had a week off. Is it inconvenient?”

Later: “Mr. Cantor should come down here to Dallas and explain what in this jobs bill he doesn’t believe in. Does he not believe in rebuilding America’s roads and bridges? Does he not believe in tax breaks for small businesses or efforts to help veterans?”

WELL DONE. BUT FOLKS... LETS NOT GET TOO FAR AHEAD OF OURSELVES.

REMEMBER.... WE WANT OBAMA TO BE ON THE BALLOT NEXT YEAR. IF HE'S NOT, IT WILL POSE A HARDER PATH TO VICTORY FOR THE GOP.

Consider, leading up to 2010 elections, quite a number of Dems "retired" because they knew they would lose. And in a fair number of those seats, we ultimately lost that pick-up opportunity because the GOP candidate couldn't hang Obama around their necks as well.

I fear the same/similar thing can happen if Obama steps down and HRC or whomever steps up.

The Republicans should take them up on calls like this.

"Hey Dallas. There are no "shovel ready" jobs because the EPA is a stuttering clusterfuck and makes permitting take years. The existing jobs aren't hiring because they have no idea what this stuttering clusterfuck will do next year. Minimum wage changes are a shining example of his stuttering clusterfuck: We've got millions of people now working as -unpaid interns- because even minimum wage is too much to pay for the products of the Democratic-ruled school systems."

One of the comments I've heard around here is that in 2008, when the stories were relentless day after day about how bad the economy was, people who still had jobs and a house and food on the table could nontheless sympathize with stories of hardship.  So they voted for Teh Won to Change the situation.

Cruel surprise, the Change they voted in has resulted in millions more people losing their jobs, losing their homes, and not being able to put food on the table so easily.
