Why doesn't someone come out and say it?
Obama has issued a fatwa against the wealthy.
Today's speech, like the previous speeches, was a fatwa.

Seems the Chinese government has invested $30 billion in solar panel technology, while poor Obama was ony able to scratch together $40 billion (plus another $17 billion already in the pipeline) for solar panel technology from people like Solyndra. Even thought the Chinese also have a built in amount of graft from party officials, it seems that US politicians require a larger portion of subsidies to go to official political and private sector graft.

Over at kos, the despair is palpable:
I must admit to a little pang of "only 1,000. That's not nearly the 20k they'd hoped for." However, that feeling faded immediately when I remembered that the Tahrir Square protests started out small and grew. The recent protests in Israel started with one person and culminated in nearly 1/2 million people on the streets. Somebody has to be the seed. If they stay, they will draw others. What they need is staying power. The occupation isn't a one day things. They must be in it for the long run.
Rather than being so quick to deem this a failure, we may need to get over our national attention deficit disorder and give this time to unfold. The people in Zuccotti need time to settle in and gel as a movement. They can figure out a way to establish communications and decision-making methodologies amongst themselves. Once they've had a little time to bond we'll see something very different than we did on Saturday.

These demonstrations are nothing new to Wall Street. About 15years ago, a bunch of them were outside my building chanting "The worms crawl in.." at us coming and going.
So we started pulling out our wallets and thumb-riffling the bills and laughing at them. They were not amused, but we sure were.

Conservative are accusing the Obama administration of corruption in choosing Solyndra to receive a government loan guarantee. The typical conservative-outlet story follows a template of Glenn-Beckian accusations that someone "connected to" Obama has "ties" to something. When you hear the phrasing "has ties to" you should understand this as code-speak for "has nothing to do with but can be made to appear to have some sinister involvement if you twist the wording a certain way."

LATEST UPDATES:
-At least 40 pizzas delivered. There is still a need for pharmacy needs. Please consider this instead.
-FOX News showed! Jesse Watters was here and asked "If a CEO came down to give you a job for $150,000 would you take it?" The brave young woman on camera said NO. And that she wants a DIALOGUE with the CEO! [doubtful this will make air tonight...] As an aside, I also had a chance to walk with Jesse and ask him why he ambushed Amanda Terkel while she was on vacation! He smirked and said "no comment." I loved it...
-Wall St Journal just arrived! Female reporter is speaking to a young man who was arrested this morning. They are chatting as I type...
-We NEED batteries! Dell 1525 batteries, the logistics on this are tough. Anyone local can go to J&R or Best Buy nearby...
-A man carrying a large sign with insinuaitons of banks and Jews was shouted down and escorted from the park, possibly by private security. No police involved. Chants of "He does NOT represent us!" as he left. That was nice.

135 What's wrong
A) Insurance company is bouncing back pt's claims and they don't even know why
Been there, done that, of COURSE they know why and you do to: It's simply to delay payment of their accounts payable. Virtually every ins. co I've worked with over the last 30 years does it as a corporate policy simply to compound the interest on the money until they DO pay the claims they have to pay. It doesn't sound like much but 6-8 weeks of interest for a couple million dollars, repeated every fiscal quarter....adds up to enough even Barry Goldwater would call "Real money". The ethics alone is enough to frost my cake. But when you consider that interest is indirectly ADDED to the cost of Health Care, while they're telling the public "you can't afford healthcare without us"......RAAAGGGGEEEE!!!!!!!
