— rdbrewer Al Gore's marital problems caused the failure of climate change legislation.
According to Illinois Senator Mark Kirk.
"The consensus behind the climate change bill collapsed and then further deteriorated with the personal and political collapse of Vice President [Al] Gore," Kirk said in a brief interview last week.
Between alleged anthropogenic global warming (now "climate change") and the effect of Al Gore's marriage on legislation, I think it's safe to say these people have a congenital problem with confusion of correlation and cause and effect.

Perhaps Kirk has found his excuse for dropping his support of Cap N Tax. Fine, whatever. So forth and sin no more, I don't want anymore laws written to give insiders at the Obama administration the ability to tax the hell out of me to heat my home, or put gas in my car, or to turn on the lights.
Put Cap N Tax on the ash heap of history and make Gore its permanent caretaker.

Yesterday Rush mentioned that in '02 one of the more prominent AGW scammers from East Anglia U pronounced that in the very near future there would be no such thing as snow because of mankind's nasty warming habits.
I'm too lazy to look it up, but I distinctly remember either last year or the year before global warming alarmists saying that children here in America (I think the City of D.C., specifically) would never have the experience of playing in the snow because snow would be that rare due to global warming.
