— Ace "Peaceful."
Boston’s police commissioner, Edward Davis, said 46 people were arrested during what he said was “by and large” a peaceful eviction.
If I felt like it I could make a racism claim here. 46 arrests of white people, and the liberal administrative state calls it "by and large peaceful."
Would 46 arrests at the dispersal of an impromptu, permit-less rap concert all also be deemed "by and large peaceful" by the very liberal, and yet also very racist, Boston police powers?
Police officers arrived shortly before 5 a.m., dragging tents out of the camp and warning the roughly 75 protesters who had stayed the night there that they would be arrested if the did not leave.
You know what this article needs? Some emotion that conveys the drama of the conflict being reported.
“The first thing I heard was the sound of a knife ripping through a tent,” said Mike Hipson, a demonstrator who stayed through the night.
Oh there you go.

I don't know the numbers of moonbats in each category, and remain very skeptical of the 41% approval rating. The internals may show a tendency to poll respondents with liberal leanings, thereby skewing the data?
We do know that when humans are exposed to free stuff, if they're not strong willed and able to see beyond the instant gratification, they're doomed to a life of liberal inspired subservience.

Well, Smeve. The unemployment rate just dropped to 8.6% this last month, which proves that I am the only true American to ever hold the presidentsy. Less people are looking for work. Many have just given up and decided to give their future job to some less fortunate person. In this, we see the light. I'm going to demoralize America into full employment. I'll chase enough people out of the workforce to bring us to -4% unemployment by Aug 2012. NEGATIVE 4%!! Who else has ever done that? Any of the other presidents on the dollar bills? I don't think so. Because they weren't real Americans, like I is.

After NYC Occupy got booted out of Zuccotti park, they don't know where to meet, can't communicate with each other (was mostly face to face in the park as a lot of the hippies don't have reliable internet access), and the issue of finding housing for the homeless hippies and getting transportation to/from the park and meeting locations and housing locations has really crimped them.
Area churches have overnight space, but are charging $3/head/night for utilitiy use and security. Some OWSers complain because the churches have kicked out unruly/disruptive/unhousebroken people and these OWSers object at every meeting to giving the churches any money. Its surreal to read their meeting minutes.

I have two music buddies (strangely, they're both drummers, insert joke here) who both claim to be independents. However, when you present them with one of those fact thingys, they instantly spout some inane Dim talking point. Most of my conversation with them consists of me saying, "That's not true and here's why."
Any statistic I cite is immediately discounted. When I say that a certain stat comes from Washington, there is only a slight pause before being immediately discounted. It's almost too easy to get them to chase their own tail in a political discussion, which merely reinforces my contention that self-described "independents" don't know what to believe, and are confused and prone to wandering.
And they're the most prized demographic for the national GOP and the reason we can't take the gloves off when it comes to the disastrous record of El SCOAMF and the Traitors Popularly Known as Progressives? The ones we must persuade to come over to our side? The ones with no personal rudder?

Occupy Wall Street Occupies Some Office Space
Whatever Occupy Wall Street (OWS) is, it has a new office two blocks from Wall Street. Since Nov. 7, activists have been quietly occupying 2,500 sq. ft. of workspace located on the 12th floor at 50 Broadway. The rent is $5,400 a month and paid for by anonymous donors.
"I don't even know their names," office coordinator Bianca Bockman says of the space's backers. "There are checks being written to pay the rent."
"The workspace was funded by individuals who wanted to support OWS but were concerned about the way the General Assembly was operating," says Michael Fix, a longtime activist and documentary filmmaker who, with Bockman, helps manage the space.

It seems like the Tea Party hasn't been doing anything lately, thanks to all the media attention to The Juice-Boxer Rebellion, but I have the feeling that there will be a very large replay of the 2010 midterm elections. Anti-incumbent sentiment is running very high, and will remain that way as long as the economy stays in the shitter, which El SCOAMF seems determined to insure.
Nothing would warm the dark recesses of my little conservative heart to see long-time congressional Progressive Idiots like Dick Turban and Babs Boxer get the boot. I've been reading their main web site and some interesting stuff can be picked up from it
There are 3 of them with access to the bank account. The main one is 36 year old tattoo artist Pete Dutro, the one who stayed in the $700 per night hotel the night of the raid. The other two are a pair of college students named Victoria Sobel and Bre Lembitz, who seem to do whatever Dutro tells them.
There are a few who are clamoring nonstop for bank statements to be uploaded, demands for transparency which are ignored, deflected, or opposed outright
I wouldn't say that Dutro is pulling a Madoff or Corzine on them at this time, but he reminds me of the United Way president who was padding his expense accounts and living very large on charity money
