Fast & Furious: We Don't Know What We Don't Know
— Ace

Darrel Issa shows off a document "turned over" by the Administration,
redacted in its entirety;
"a black cow, at midnight, eating licorice"

Sheryl Atkinson (the CBS reporter who pretty much represents the entirety of MFM interest in this case) notes that "we don't know what we don't know" in Fast & Furious -- the administration is covering up so much, disclosing so little, we're really not even certain what the right questions are.

What was the goal here? There's one question the Administration won't answer.

Posted by: Scott J at October 18, 2011 08:21 AM (/bVuS)

57 What was the goal here? There's one question the Administration won't answer. ---------------------------------------------------- What goal could there be? No law enforcement agency worth it's salt would ever let guns walk for any reason. They allowed military grade hardware to walk for chrissakes. Grenades, fully automatic M2s, the whole nine yards. You can't buy grenades (that actually can explode) at ANY gun store. You just can't. And the fact that they had no plans for what to do EVEN if they could track the guns (which they couldn't) leads me to believe that this wasn't a botched law enforcement operation. That explanation is just a cover up... and a shoddy one at that. So what goal could there be? We're asking the wrong department to get that answer. We should include Hillary in these congressional grillings to find that out. That's because SecState and their actions would explain a lot. IF SecState was in contact with mexico about this and Mexico approved, then it points to a sting operation against the second amendment itself as well as an excuse to move against honest gun owners... with Mexico's tacit approval. IF SecState wasn't in contact with Mexico or Mexico didn't approve, then this is an act of war. An effort to further destabilize an already unstable nation with a cartel war between two warring cartels. Either is an act of treason by both SecState and possibly (I say probably) a complicit POTUS. SCOAMF is a nice acronym... but TCOAMF (Traitorous being the T) is probably a better word.

“Leave it to the Beaver” (comedy)

  Set in 2012, Barack ObamaÂ’s Cloward-Piven agenda and lack of leadership skills have combined to destroy consumer confidence, driving the US economy into the ‘Great RecessionÂ’.  His approval numbers hover in the 30's, making him clearly un-reelectable come November. To help the left retain the White House, Obama steps down and helps arrange for his Secretary of State, who quietly embraces his radical agenda, to receive the Democrat Party nomination for President.

120 120 He said that but went on to say that Ga was siding with the intruders onto indian land but prohibiting missionaries from going in amoung the indians. It's probably a disaster but I was trying to pull it out of the fire--in 10 minutes. Shit, I'm about 1/3 Cherokee if you add them all together. I contend that most of them ended up being absorbed.

131 The Cherokee thing was an outright steal because there was gold there. GA was all happy with Jackson and the government over that steal at the time.  They should have recognized though a government that would do that to the Cherokees would do it to anyone.

132 What was the goal here?  Well, Obama and his minions had already set up the phony 90-percent-American-guns-recovered-in-Mexico lie and Fast and Furious was designed to add an exclamation point to that crap.  It's not a botched operation, it's an attempt by the Obama administration to subvert our Second Amendment rights and they got caught after becoming accessories in the murders of hundreds of people.  No one died because of Watergate, but Fast and Furious has a mountain of corpses.  If this doesn't qualify as an impeachable offense, then nothing does.

141 along with the question of "what could the law enforcement goal of this program possibly have been?" i think there's another very simple and obvious question that should be asked and answered, "why would a program with this level of uncertainty and liability be run by some rogue agent/office?"  the administration is claiming that they didn't know and that melson didn't know (which he probably didn't), so realistically it's 1 of 2 scenarios, either it was being run from the white house or by a bunch of rogue agents.  so if the white house knew nothing, wouldn't it "be out looking for the real murderer"? eg. the white house would surely be interested in who was to blame for this and fire them at least, throw them in prison more likely.  and if the white house is interested in who would have authorized and ran this operation, wouldn't they already know the answer to question 1 or at least be doggedly onto the trail, with some pretty good hypotheses?
