— Dave in Texas Did I say "recommit?" I meant "blow off."
DEAUVILLE, France: Russia, Japan and Canada told the G8 they would not join a second round of carbon cuts under the Kyoto Protocol at United Nations talks this year and the US reiterated it would remain outside the treaty, European diplomats have said.
What nation would willingly encumber their already hammered GDP with socialist re-engineering carbon cuts to preserve Kyoto?
Oh, that's right. None of em.

The politicians in the Dem Party loved it though after Bush won because a - they could use it to attack Bush and b it was a wonderful tool to forward international communism and fascism/

I have parents...real ones. I don't need the government to pull that shit too.

Agreed. The wealth transfer if all of these plans were implemented would be catastrophic for both the developed world and the 3rd world. We would lose wealth, and they would put off any meaningful development for more suckling on the teat of the West.

What a bunch of lying shit-weasels. The Senate voted 95-0 to not even bring it to a vote in 1997, long before Bush was in office.

Canadians have accumulated an impressive collection of Fossil Awards at Climate Change meetings over the last few years. Our comedians and MSM have been harassing the Conservative government about this for years - international embarrassment, shills for big oil, flat earthers, blah, blah. Since energy exports were one of the main reasons Canada escaped the worst of the recession, working Canadians have learned to ignore the whining and bitching of eco-activists. It is better to be mocked and rich than to be praised but poor.

Pulling out of RGGI is a step in the right direction but he's never been on the side of the angels on this one.

And even now he still believes in the AGW fraud. He just thinks that the time is not right for implementing that colosal gang screw known as Cap and Tax.
If any of the Morons have not read that bill as passed by the House you MUST read it. It contains shit that will knock your socks off.

Reagan thought that by constructing a team of U.N. scientists they could "study" it for a while and issue a paper that said it was crap. Talk about the law of unintended consequences.
The U.N panel got hijacked by the third world as a means of getting more plunder from the evil Americans. The infamous and fraudulent hockey stick was born and then the U.N. politicians wrote the final paper for the finding.
