Friday Fast & Furious Document Dump
— andy

Well lookee here what we're findin' in the White House email

The documents show extensive communications between then-ATF Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix office Bill Newell - who led Fast and Furious - and then-White House National Security Staffer Kevin O'Reilly. Emails indicate the two also spoke on the phone. Such detailed, direct communications between a local ATF manager in Phoenix and a White House national security staffer has raised interest among Congressional investigators looking into Fast and Furious. Newell has said he and O'Reilly are long time friends.

Long time friends, huh? I'm sure they were just catchin' up on football scores, talkin' about how the kids were doin' in school, sharin' recipes and the like. Or not.

The email exchanges span a little over a month last summer. They discuss ATF's gun trafficking efforts along the border including the controversial Fast and Furious case, though not by name.

ORLY? So, ok, they were just talkin' about general ATF business but the fact that guns were crossin' the border into Mexico never came up, so ... nothin' to see here, move along.

Among the documents produced: an email in which ATF's Newell sent the White House's O'Reilly an "arrow chart reflecting the ultimate destination of firearms we intercepted and/or where the guns ended up." The chart shows arrows leading from Arizona to destinations all over Mexico.

In response, O'Reilly wrote on Sept. 3, 2010 "The arrow chart is really interesting - and - no surprise - implies at least that different (Drug Trafficking Organizations) in Mexico have very different and geographically distinct networks in the US for acquiring guns. Did last year's TX effort develop a similar graphic?"(emphasis added)

You mean they messed with Texas, too? Sounds like a new front opened up on this thing overnight. Darrell Issa, call your office.

Note: This post has been conformed to the AP style guide. I dropped every "g" in my head as I was typin' it. Speakin' of the AP, they also provided some new Gunwalker evidence that conclusively proves the White House had full knowledge of the operation.

Let's start taking bets who in the administration falls on their sword for this.

Head of ATF?  Holder?

Chu has already fallen on his sword over Solyndra, and I bet he will resign by year end.  Expect to see a lot of mid to higher level staffers falling on their swords over the next 6 months.

19 The other day Sheriff Beadeau  (sp?) was on the Lou Dobbs show.  Lou asked him how he discovered all of this, and the sheriff said that they were investigating things that were happening, and not to get to technical, things started to add up.  Lou asked what things, and the sherriff said, "Well, in law enforcement we look for certain things.  The technical word for what we look for is "clues", and we found many."  Lou asked if what he was saying was that it was obvious, and the sheriff said that was exactly what he was saying.  So Lou asked how far up this goes, and the sheriff said all the way.  It sounded like all the evidence is already in place.  The sheriff also said that the guns in question were much larger calibre and more powerful than the guns he and his people use, and that the scope of all this is huge.  It really sounded like the sheriff expects Obama and Holder to be held responsible, and for it all to come out before the election-even if he is the person who has to bring it to the attention of the people.  But he also said he is in constant contact with Issa, and that he (the sheriff) has had numerous requests from high up to drop it.

97 I don't know how many are still reading but I have an important FYI. My sister emailed me this a little while ago. Already did mine. REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month. REMINDER..... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls. .... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list It will only take a minute of your time.. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number. HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON .. It takes about 20 seconds. https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx

O/T- Obama brings Republicans an early Christmas gift: the newly minted Red State of New Hampshire.

The American Research Group's September 2011 Quarterly New Hampshire Poll also found the president's approval rating in the first-in-the-nation primary state is pegged at 31%.

Dante Scala, a political science professor at the University of New Hampshire, said the notable shift in Obama's support is among undeclared, or independent voters. Sixty-seven percent of undeclared voters in the state say they disapprove of how the president has handled the economy.

Even though New Hampshire's unemployment rate is much lower than the national figure, Scala said voters here are affected by rampant displeasure in the economy.

///-CNN

No one has a sub 33% approval rating and carries a state. This is the 10th poll in a row to show him severely underwater here (corresponding polls showed at least 1 GOP candidate (and some 2-3) beating Obama by 5 points or greater.

New Hampshire is now a red state. Thanks Obama.

Real question? How and why was Chu able to PUSH this?  He is not a money guy... he is not a Finance person... he has nothing to do with loans... and he is NOT part of the DOE... he is a Science Advisor....

What that means is that the White House must be consistantly using pressure from White House staffers , to circumvent the checks and balances put into slow down other agencies...

Look, friend, show a bit a skepticism regarding email that you receive telling you to do something.

"Cell Phones
You may place your personal cell phone number on the National Do Not Call Registry. The registry has accepted cell phone numbers since it opened for registrations in June 2003. There is no deadline to register a home or cell phone number on the Registry.

You may have received an email telling you that your cell phone is about to be assaulted by telemarketing calls as a result of a new cell phone number database; however, that is not the case. Federal Communications Commission regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers."

163 This might end up being the biggest scandal of the administration, but if anyone wanted to impeach Obama, let's not forget the Libyan affair--a clear violation of the War Powers Resolution, which is law and has never been declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.  Gunwalker and F&F set up a hare-brained scheme that would indirectly lead to the death of Mexican citizens, but in Libya he deliberately sought the deaths of foreign nationals with our own military, and did so without a declaration of war or authorization from Congress as required by the Constitution/War Powers.  If that is not a high crime, then nothing short of treason is.

The more I read, hear and see of this ‘scheme’...

The more I’m convinced that this was going to be their ‘ironclad’ straw-dog to clamp down on firearms retailers, snatch their licenses and provide a launching pad for an even harsher ‘Assault Weapons’ ban, and the gutting our 2nd Amend. rights.

‘Tis a pity it’s exploding in their faces like a badly rigged IED. /

This makes Watergate look like a gang of 6 year-oldÂ’s raid on a candy counter.

The Senate ‘rats are the only barrier to a ‘historic’ wave of impeachments over this (and other deeds).
