The spring budget window is set at 10yrs; that's just the way it is. As for what he said about ObamaCare, no idea. With regards to him being the primary one knowing what's occuring, that's likely true, though the budgeteers working under him are incredibly intelligent individuals. I think Chairman Ryan describes things the best way he knows how but he has a bad habit of speaking "budget-wonk speak". He's been reading budgets since he got out of college and he doesn't always realize that regular people may not understand what he's discussing.

I blame baby boomers because it was when they dominated the electoral landscape that the entitlement crisis was truly created.  Their votes led to leadership on both sides that spend and spend and spend, and then use social security in lieu of more taxes to cover their spending, as well as horrible debt to cover their spending, leaving the next generations frankly robbed.

We should cut their entitlements, such as social security, drastically, because it's a lie that they paid social security.  What they were really paying in social security was government revenue.

It's not just the boomers to blame.  And there are plenty of boomers who fought against this, but the cold math is the same.  Boomers have left this country financially ruined if we do not gut their entitlements.

I don't think it's super helpful to blame, but the problem is here.

My solution is........END ENTITLEMENTS!!!!!!

Now, before you lose your mind, let me explain;  remove all the "entitlements" that our Congress-critters and president enjoy oh-so-much!!!!  Lets start with "travel" expenses; those are no longer to be paid for with taxpayer dollars period.  You became and elected official,  you KNEW the job was in Washington, that's called a "commute" pal, and that's neither re-imburseable or billable!  Next, you know, since we have had Skype, video conferencing and cellphones and the internet;; WHY; do we have to pay for ANY travel expenses?  If our congress-critter used these resources they would never have to LEAVE the area of their constituents and family, THEY WOULD HAVE LESS BREAKS and thus, more could government business could be conducted. 

  I don't care if he/she is POTUS>>>> NO MORE PAID VACATIONS>>PERIOD.  I mean really. The taxpayer foots the bill for the press corps, his /her security, the entourage, for a week in; oh, let's just say SPAIN,  to meet with their elected official. for what a chat about policy....BFD!!! Stay your ass home and video conference!!! REALLY!!!   Especially the current adminstration...if this bunch oh yahoos thinks it's "okay" to give DVD's to a prime minister, it's fucking okay to send a text to the president of France!

I think we should have a letter writing campaign. I think we should jam up our government, since these assholes think it's okay, to "shut down" for their own political gain.  YOU congress critters can cut the AMERICAN people's entitlements and BUDGETS when you cut YOURS as well as the governments'.  LINE BY LINE cut out all the crap.....Eleiminate the IRS and EVERYBODY AND  EVERY COMPANY pays a FLAT TAX bang zoom end of story.  No more "GE's" that don't pay and THEN GET a SUBSIDY?! Are you KIDDING!!!  Stop Subsidies to big oil and finance comapanies...no one gets ANY special treatment or free passes ANYMORE!  I think the American people whom our government forgets  it represents, should be the ones that say what gets cut......no more extra pay for extra committees, I don't get that AND I HAVE to be on committees for my job...they tell me it's an "expectation".  OH they should have to PAY 50% of their healthcare plan.....they recused themselves from "obamacare" they are passing out waivers everywhere....pay for your own fucking healthcare!  I have to, I give things up to have the "Cadillac" plan I have....( no I am NOT union)

We need to eliminate the word "entitlement"......there is no such thing.  If you want it, then work hard for it, pay for it. but there are no freebies for anyone anymore.  period.
