Ghaddafi Dead?
— Dave in Texas

That's the word, his last defenders laid down arms and he was killed in Tripoli.

We'll see.

Lots of updates here.

The war under the radar is flipping, and Obama is gonna get a chance to embrace the "you break it, you buy it" crap from the left.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

UPDATE: Or.. negotiatin to save his hide.

ALSO: I'm gonna miss his totally fly "MC Hammer" robes and shit.

8 Khaddafi dead?

Good.

I'd like to thank Obama for that.  I'd like to think that this was part of some long strategy of his...

But even though the right outcome occurred (Khaddafi dead), I think it was mostly due to actors other than the President, and that had things gone badly, Obama would have been just as feckless as he is in so many other things.

Just imagine if big donors figured out they could buy some influence in D.C., Chicago, Sacramento or Albany.  That would be....unprecedented.

Why, we could even end up with a stumbling clusterfuck of a miserable failure in the White House.

The real important news is that Jerry Lewis is back on as host of the Labor Day Telethon.

I went to a lecture that Lewis gave on the importance of using humor when trying to heal sick people.  This was given at a hospital that I used to work at and the audience was mostly doctors (I am not).  He was foul mouthed, arrogant and just plain rude – a real d-bag.  I finally had enough and got up to leave.  The dirty look he gave me was priceless.

HeÂ’s done a lot of good for MD telethon, etc. but is a rude asshole.

212 Leading from behind ain't a bad idea when dealing with these turd world countries. Congrats to NATO and the President for a different variation of warfare.....one exposing US troops to less casualties. Now, if we get another group of misfits taking over....bomb them again and again till they get the message.
