This is a Harris Interactive poll, so it's online, with self-selection, so it's not a real-real poll, but it is realer than, say, their survey of Playboy readers. (And, like, who reads Playboy anymore?)
The thing that is marginally on-topic here is the breakdown by ideological persuasion.
I dunno -- what's winning and losing here? I guess we're "winning" by our own standards, and liberals are "winning" by theirs.
Except for one thing -- what's this business about 38% of conservatives posting an "ad" (I assume this means a relationship-seeking ad) while already in a relationship?
That doesn't sound right, and is very inconsistent with the other data. The basic take-away is that conservatives are more reserved about sex (including "sexts" and other online expressions of sex), but are posting sex ads while in a relationship? At at a 38% rate?
Seems wrong.

You're assuming a sexual relationship. I'll admit it, I've dated more than one chick at a time but I've never had a sexual relationship with more than one chick at a time. And I don't think it is wrong. And I've posted an add while dating someone that just wasn't going anywhere, or the relationship had gone sour and regressed back to pre-intimate (read I hadn't gotten any in a while and didn't look like I was going to get any soon) and I wanted to do something else than wait patiently for the breakup. I guess I could have done the breaking up myself, but I have a personal peeve against chicks who once they become dissatisfied with a relationship, totally go self destructive on it trying to get you to break up with them so they can remain guilt free. So I get stubborn and wait them out and make them take responsibility for their choices. I actually laughed at one who came to me like it was big crushing news and told her I had been expecting it for 6 months, and what on earth took her so long.
After a GF regressed back to first base and no further, I figured it's open field once again. So yeah, while being 100% monogamous (never being in more than 1 intimate relationship at a time, actually never even dating more than 1 person while in an intimate relationship) I have posted while dating.
I'm married now, so all of that is over.

What the hell does this even mean? What is a "role" in the decision? Does that mean they have veto power over the woman's preference? Do they get to pick where the abortion is performed? Only if they're paying for it? Or do they just voice their preference and then get ignored?

--I was there in 2005. There is even still a German community in Swakopmund dating back to the colonial days. Hell, even many of the black African women in Namibia are not that dark, probably from Bantu mixing with Khoi-San.
