Another Obama accomplishment! Drain the treasury, make the military look incompetent, piss off allies and parts of the Middle East, and furthr endanger Americans at home and abroad when Gaddafhi seeks revenge. Bonus points for higher oil prices, too!

The eagles are much better than this idiot:
CHEATHAM: The thing that sticks in my mind, I guess, more than anything else — and this is something that has happened. My wife teaches first grade. This past week, one of the kids in her class, a little first grader’s dad is getting sent to Afghanistan. And he was really sad. And she said, ‘Eell, you know, your dad is doing something really good. He’s going to a country where people there are trying to take away the freedoms of other people there, keep them from living a good life. So he’s leaving to do something good.’ And one of the little girls in class just on her own — and this has never been talked about in class, because my wife doesn’t do that — said, ‘It’s kind of like Mr. Cheatham, he left to make our schools better.’ And when I heard that, that gave me a reason —” (drowned out by applause.)BRB with the link. But you probably saw it yesterday.

A woman was arrested in Kissimmee on Thursday after police said she sold an 88-year-old man oral sex, and then returned a month later to violently rob him after he didn't pay up.
Kissimmee police were called to the Elizabeth Avenue home of the elderly victim on March 11. The man told officers that he had been attacked and robbed by a woman later identified as 41-year-old Tanya Ross.
According to police reports, Ross forced her way into the victim's home, knocked a phone out of his hand when he tried to call 911, and then grabbed him by the throat and robbed him.
The man said he sprayed Ross with pepper spray, and she fled on foot. Officers reported damage to his front door and the screen door leading to his patio.

Tom Selleck Loses Temper With Gun-Toting Extra
TOM Selleck has quite the temper!
The actor apparently flew off the handle when an extra on the set of his TV show Blue Bloods picked up a real gun and started pointing it at people!
The extra — who was playing a cop but had never held a real gun — was horrified when Tom, a lifelong gun enthusiast and board member of the National Rifle Association, spotted him and yelled, “Hey, YOU! What the HELL are you doing? That gun’s NOT a toy — stop waving it around!”
“Look at you…your finger’s STILL ON THE TRIGGER!”
According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, the extra then squirmed, “Is the gun really loaded?”
Selleck replied, “No, it’s not loaded. But when you handle a gun it’s common sense to assume it IS loaded, and NOT point it at people!”
-----------
Selleck can point anything he wants at me.

So why would I rather have the '59 Bel Air?
When you listen to the bilge the IIHS and other nanny-state fools are spewing, it's non-stop amazement that any of us "older" folk survived. Everything in life was a spear aimed at out poor little pink bodies....
My first three cars -- it would be an insult to used cars everywhere to call these "used cars" -- were from 1950, 1953 and 1959, respectively. I learned early that their biggest "safety" feature was to not hit anything with them.
Wish I still had 'em. Especially the '53. That poor Bel Air would be a good substitute, though.

Apparently, she had no idea what it is marines actually do.

"My dad was born, and we called Iowa, and (they) didn't start keeping records until 1880, and he was born in 1878," Davidson said.
Davidson's family even began to worry that the World War II vet could lose his Medicare and Social Security - and didn't know where to turn.
The KOMO 4 Problem Solvers spoke with U.S. Sen. Patty Murray's office and received an application for citizenship, and since Davidson is a veteran it didn't cost him any money.
Davidson eventually was able to find proof of his parents' U.S. citizenship, which automatically makes him a U.S. citizen.
He will receive a special certificate from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services at Tuesday's ceremony that takes the place of a birth certificate as proof of U.S. citizenship.

I've met him. Up close and personal. I wasn't a fan and had never really thought much about him at the time, but he's drop. dead. gorgeous. If you can believe it, TV doesn't begin to do him justice. Very nice, too. My brush with greatness, other than Larry the Cable Guy (who was equally as nice).

Why WHY WHY don't people admit we're experiencing a period stagflation?
Prices of stuff are rising, right? We have no-to-low growth, right? Oil prices are high and volatile, right?
That's stagflation.

RushBabe, Tom Selleck and Larry the Cable Guy. A Magnum PU.
And we'll be appearing at Borongo Casino all week.

What you don't count doesn't count, like the numbers of folk (like me) who've been funemployed for over two years, and the price of gasoline and groceries. Just keep the important stuff off the radar and everything's just peachy-keen.
In addition, you make up new yardsticks to measure things that are impossible to measure, like "jobs saved or created."
It's easy when you know how.

Cheap maternity wedding dresses?!
Finally! I need about ten of those in various sizes. Afghani mail order bride clearance sale.

Landed in Florida! It's hot here. I should have not only brought wool sweaters.

Tried to warn you yesterday. Not only is it already warm but the humidity switch was tripped about four days ago.

Sorta OT........in the sidebar is a link to the Wall St Journal, the story is about being a nation of "takers not makers"..........followed that link and saw another story on WSJ about polygamy aka polygyny, you know the system where tribal males get all the girls and average guys get nothing.
Anyway, I didn't realize that there is a court case pending in Canada about legalizing polygyny......seven years after another court case legalized same-sex marriage, proponents of polygyny are using the same-sex marriage ruling to try and legalize polygyny.
Um, polygyny is a return to barbarianism. Just look at any muslim country to see polygyny in action. What really disturbs me are the comments on the story, one would think the average WSJ commenter is a tad more conservative than the average dummy, but the comments are running in FAVOR of polygyny!

I'm very encouraged with the number of dead from the Koran burning. If we burn enough Koran's, it might solve our biggest problem?

I've met Rage Against The Machine (and a bunch of other bands that played Lallapalooza - It was during my party days, so I don't remember who else), Bruce Willis, Bozo the Clown

You're kidding, right? There's no way in hell you brought only wool sweaters to Florida in April.
No fear. You can head down to International Drive and find about 2000 different styles of I 'heart' Florida/Orlando/Mickey Mouse t-shirts. If you want something nicer, find your way to the Mall at Millenia. Then again, there are more outlet malls than you can shake a stick at so, I think you'll be okay.

2012 best see a candidate running who has the intellectual chops and moral courage to change what we now have.
If not, the slow descent into decay will accelerate.

< momma... Regarding Rage Against the Machine. The lead singer's mother has a PhD in statistics - I know because we hired her for a project. Oh, and his mom lives in a gated community. They weren't raging from what I could tell. Teh heh.

Don't laugh, but every day I begin to think about Rand Paul a bit more seriously. He's damned intelligent, has shown a propensity for asking the kinds of questions that others should be asking and does so in a way that makes the point, in a slightly "tweaking" nature.
He seems altogether unafraid to take them on.
If Ron Paul did one thing right, it was raising a son that has gumption to spare.

I love Christie, but have to admit that sometimes his manner isn't so straight-forward as much as bullyish. Rand seems to have that gift for saying something or challenging someone without seeming like a complete SOB while doing it (remember the toilet conversation?). It really is a gift and points to someone who doesn't feel the need to one-up the opposition to make the point, yet still rattles their nerves a bit.

You musta missed Beck's TV show yesterday. He had Daniel Pipes and another Islamo expert on. The muzzies WANT polygamy and our liberal, D-nozzle activist judges (who are so open-minded that their brains fall out) really want to give it to them. The rules for polygamy are listed in...wait for it...wait for it...Sharia Law!
