I know what you mean about "starting" in the sense that one hopes the guy stuck with the job of POTUS grows up on the job.  Usually leading to sudden graying of the hair and things like Carter basically admitting he was wrong about the Soviets and bumping the DoD budget his last year of his only term.   Obama shows no signs of becoming aware of the problems which should be keeping him, like everyone else, up at night.  Disconcerting with so many things at critical mass.  Little nuclear humor there.

I don't know if he's the Worst President Ever- I've only been alive for 5 (well, 6, I guess, technically.  I was born in Dec. '79, so Jimmy was technically still Prez).  I do know he's the worst President I remember, and I know that the world, in general, is much more uneasy than it was even immediately post 9/11.

I think it depends on where you are.  In Abilene (the one in TX) virtually everybody takes it- Dyes AFB is right there, so they get a lot of Airmen.  In Dallas/Fort Worth, however, fewer doctors take it- the only military presence we really have- aside from military advisers assigned to Bell Helicopter or Lockheed Martin or something, is from the Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base near Fort Worth.

I would presume places with a base nearby would be more likely to have a high percentage of doctors who would actually take tri-care.

It would be interesting to see what the voting records of people are after they've been invited to such events.  I remember that one football game, Rep. Cao was the only Republican there.  He was also the only Republican in the House who voted "yes" on Health Care Reform.  I think he was invited to the party after the vote, but still he probably thought that Obama was his friend and had his back.  (Until Obama backed his Democrat opponent in the next election).  Just think, if Obama would have campaigned for Cao, the bipartisan healing that would have taken place.

When I worked for phsicians in private practices, they always wrote off bills for people who could not pay.  I know that goes entirely against the Obama meme.  With health care reform, they will not be able to do that any more.  (Although the government may force them to accept what they reimburse them with, which will force a lot of good docs out of business).

Wife and I thought it was early on-set Altzheimers when the dishes were not clean even though we thought we'd run the dishwasher. We've got one of the new flush toilets too and are investing in plunger futures. We see it as a growth category. The garage is filling up with lightbulbs encroaching on the space for the bags of red beans and cans of chickern. Wife complains. I tell her to call our two nitwit Senators.

Have you tried adding a small amount of trisodium phosphate (TSP) powder to your dishwasher powder? It can be found it practically any hardware store.

TSP is the salt of fully unprotonated phosphoric acid. It is a strong base and is therefore worthy of safe and respectful handling. Use it sparingly at first, in other words, until you determine what is the proper mixing proportion.

Some hints for its use in dishwashers and safe handling are here (it's a goggle cache - the amazon pages didn't load in a reasonable time for my taste).

What surprises me about Zero's complete abdication of responsibilities right now is not that he's checked out.  It's that he doesn't care enough about his image to fake it better.
