Indoor Skydiving
— LauraW

Vertical wind tunnel in Prague.

This looks like a lot of fun. WANT.

The dismount at the end is so casual and easy, it's almost surreal after all that zipping around.

Thanks to scott.

Beware, the experts make wind tunnel diving look beautiful with their aerial ballet.  Most beginners, however, end up bouncing like a ping pong ball in a lottery machine before the operator turns off the fan.

I did this a few times in my youth, except I didn't use a big glass bowl, I didn't have cool helmets and suits, and I sure didn't do any acrobatics. I only did it because some big loud ugly guy pushed me out of the plane. Several times. Often threatening me in the process. At least he gave me a big sheet to slow the fall.

This looks like a lot more fun.
