— Ace You know Emma Stone, right? She's the cute redhead 20something who has been in pretty much 10% of all movies made in the past 5 years, starting with SuperBad.

What I really like about her is that she took all of the parts that would have gone to Lindsey Lohan.
I like that. Think you're hot shit? No, we've got someone else.
Anyway, Jim Carrey proposes to her in the below video, which may be meant to be funny, but I think he's kidding on the square (joking, but not joking).
He's proposed to virtually everyone else, anyway.

She looks stupid to marry him.
Sorta like how Drew Barrymore was stupid enough to marry Tom Green.

I miss 90s Jim Carrey.
Indeed, he's essentially Robin Williams now. At one time funny, but that time was long long ago.

Redheads, in general, sicken me.
This one is cute, though.
Amy Pond from Doctor Who is also very cute. But just those two.

Wait, was Lauren Holly a natural redhead? And didn't he married before Holly?

Me too. I get the impression she'd be fun to hang out with, too.

Wow that is creepy.
Are you sure he's joking? WTF. Even if he is, that is creepy in an uncomfortable, not funny, way.
I guess maybe that's what he is going for, though.
If you think it is creepy and lame, then you don't appreciate his comedic genius.
But if you are smart enough, then you are laughing like crazy (on the inside) at his meta-comedy.

No. She eventually got too crazy for even him."

Perhaps Jim Carrey is trying for some type of Andy Kaufman-type shtick? But yeah, this isn't going to give Carrey the reaction he's looking for, perhaps even craving? What has Carrey done recently? Oh yeah, Mr. Popper's Penguins.

Put her outside sans sunscreen for 10 minutes. If she starts getting a sunburn, she's a ginger.

That Keith Stone is a good one, I must say. Pooter in a tree. Hahahahaha

Come on... that was pretty funny.
Jim Carrey is hilarious precisely because he has no vanity, unlike a pathetic - and extremely ugly - hack like Bill Maher...
If you look back at Carrey's comedy career, you'll also notice that the joke is almost always on HIM.
The video manages to be creepy, uncomfortable, and funny at the same time. However, he has the balls to make HIMSELF the target of the uncomfortable humor.
I find that today's younger comedians are very much interested in being edgy, but usually at the expense of others. I'm thinking of Daniel Tosh, for example.

Never heard of her.....Oh shit. Does this mean we're gonna be tested on this ongoing Hollywood crapola? I better start paying attention.

Exactly. I have no idea how tawdry his personal life and political life may be, but as an actor he seemed utterly unpretentious.

Stone is the best kind of hot; she's cute hot. I could see her putting little hearts above her i's just as easily as I picture her dancing on top of a bar and it's awesome.
However, other than Zombieland, what has she been in exactly?
Posted by: UGAdawg at August 25, 2011 10:36 AM (xZ8Ay)
Then she might be tempted to say yes..
Anyway.. no less creepy than Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes..

Goes to show that one doesn't have to act like a tramp in public to get a part, even today.

Think you're hot shit? No, we've got someone else.
Absolutely. Being an actress is not like being a neurosurgeon or Delta Force operator; you are not indispensable and it takes but a brief search to find an adequate replacement. I could go to the library at the UCLA campus and find any number of girls as beautiful as the most glamorous Hollywood starlet.
Posted by: UGAdawg at August 25, 2011 10:53 AM (xZ8Ay)
Oh, Superbad. Forgot that.
Probably the second recent teenflick I ever liked, the first being American Pie (not the lame sequels). In those two they got the awkwardness of adolescence right, unlike so many others where the "teens" are proto-middle-aged.

I really think Jim was brave with this. I know it's weird but if it is genuine, I think he was brave. It takes a lot of guts to say the things he did. We all should follow our instincts and not give a damn about what others think. Well done Mr. Carrey.

Edward Nygma, Andy Kaufman, Count Olaf, The Cable Guy, Stanley Ipkiss, Charlie Baileygates/Hank Evans, Walter Sparrow.... The unclean spirit went and found seven other spirits worse than he, and they now reside in Jim Carrey's formerly spotless mind.
