Let's Get Alinsky on Obama With Respect to Third World
— Ace

Slubs just posted about this. But I really want to talk about it too.

I'm actually glad Obama said we're becoming a Third World country, because this gives us the license to use this line like crazy. And it will work for us.

A couple of days ago I admitted maybe Obama does have a vision for the future, but that vision is Mexico. It just seems to me that he is taking this country down the road to failed third-world socialist quasi-democracies, with hyperinflation and defaults and bailouts and seizing of industries and so on.

And I don't think that's just me, or conservatives. I think that basic idea, that Obama is changing the country from an exceptional country, which has been prosperous, good, and strong, into one of the dismally ordinary countries wherein the government exists chiefly to write checks to retirees and pensioners and the poor and default every seven years when it can't pay the bills.

Me? I would use this constantly against Obama. I think it preys upon public fears, which would often be called a bad thing, except in this case I think those fears are not only justified but required if America is to right itself.

And he gave us license to say what we actually think without politically-correct penalties. No one can demagogue us for making "racist" attacks about Africa or Mexico or whatever. This guy said it first.

As they say in law, "you opened the door."

You want to talk about third world countries? Which country has previously remained rich, hard-working, virtuous, vital, and free, and which sorts of countries have become poor, idle, cynical, sclerotic and feudal, and which type of country is Obama pushing us towards?

Since you brought it up, Pal -- you're turning this once-great nation into a goddamned unstable Third World hellhole.

Thanks for introducing the topic. I've been meaning to mention this.

Ace, stop worrying so much about what CAN be said.  That's very 1990's thinking after the Repubs lost their way.  The media is NEVER going to allow you to say ANYTHING that they deem unworthy, so free yourself and just speak the truth.

Actually I don't think using Detroit is a good idea; their city manager just fired all the union teachers to try and get costs under control.  Detroit under Dave Bing is much more aware than the shitheads in Cleveland, for example, that they have a shitty situation that bidness as usual ain't gonna make a dent in.

20 Didn't see this thread so I'll repost:

Is this the hope & change they were hoping for?

Last Saturday through Tuesday, thousands of Bay Area residents flocked to the Oakland Coliseum, where they received free medical, dental, and vision services - services that they couldn't otherwise afford.

...

This was the scene every morning at the Oakland Coliseum from Saturday to Tuesday - a four-day mass free clinic put on by Remote Area Medical, a nonprofit that provides free medical care to people in isolated areas around the world and in the States. The organization usually provides care in extremely impoverished parts of the world, but it was invited to the Bay Area by the state's association of oral surgeons. With the help of thousands of medical and administrative volunteers, more than 3,000 patients are being served this week.

Ask that dickhead how the 3rd world countries got to be 3rd world countries, if many of them never saw corporations or the 'rich'? Is there more than one path to erd world country status? Follow up by requiring him to explain the presence of both corporations and the rich in enlightened European socialist states. Then ask him why we have a higher corporate tax rate than any country in Europe.

Then tell him to fuck off.

28 A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage.

Whoever actually said it.. its still a very scary quote.... and soooo true...

29 Ace, you're dead on with this.

Certainly this is the most direct he's been about it, but this same vision has been coming up more and more often in his speeches.

How many times, in recent months, has he pointed to places like Brazil, China, Mexico, etc. as examples we need to follow? How many times has he snubbed traditional allies and rolled out the red carpet for socialist and communist leaders?

A related, disconcerting trend is how many politicians, pundits, and groups and individuals have come out publicly as devout, unabashed socialists.

Gov Barbour was on with Lauara Ingrahamcrackers this morning. I liked everything he had to say.

But I already know how the Democrats will smear him and try to undercut his presidential bid. They'll go after Barbour by pointing out the literacy rate, the drop-out rate, and the poverty rate of Mississippi.

Which is ironic and ballsy because every single Democrat-city-stronghold is a hell-hole worse than Mississippi.

33 If the GOP doesn't run ads that constantly show Obama speaking in his own words (with a few "it can be morning in America again" type positive ads), we should fire them all.  There is so much mask-slipping material out there now to show the 52%-ers who this guy really is.

Put Haley Barbour in charge of the ad campaigns.  He did a fantastic job with the RGA this election cycle.

To me, killing NASA manned space flight was very telling.  Yes, there's  problems at NASA and they have some kooks in off-shoot missions such as the global warming farce, but NASA manned space flight has exemplified what is good and best in America.  It said that we have the drive and ambition to do what has never been done, to reach past the bounds of earth, to dare to dream then make that dream come true.  We have seen some of America's finest hours played out by twenty-something engineers, by men who's bravery and sacrifice rivals, if not eclipses, anyone throughout history.  What exemplified America more that our space achievements?  And Obama killed it and replaced it with an earth-bound propaganda mission for sub-human savages.

Yes, I firmly believe that it's Obama's mission to destroy this country.  He hates it and it's been demostrated over and over.  In a more saine world, the wookie would have killed any change Obama had of being president when she said this is the first time she has EVER been proud of this country.  They hate it and are actively working as agents of Soros, etc. to take this country down, and to be sure that it's damaged so severely that no one can get it back on track.  I truly hate these people!

54 I said it in the headlines thread. I'll say it again here: The poverty, shitty infrastructure, and all the other suckitude that pops in hour heads when we hear "third world" are not caused by resource problems. Property rights weaken wherever the suicidal codification of sloth, envy, and gluttony we call "collectivism" is sickly twisted into virtue.

Posted by: SlaveDog at April 15, 2011 08:10 AM (9fDAi)

80 It isn't just Obama.

It isn't just Reid or Pelosi or any of the other poster-leftists.

It is the millions of Americans who have been fooled into believing the deceptions of the left, or who are part and parcel of that deception themselves.  In other words, the people who voted for him and others of his ilk.

Our nation is afflicted not merely with a bad president or some bad politicians, but with millions of men and women who are consumed by EVIL.

There is a book by M. Scott Peck called People of the Lie that describes this quite well.  He doesn't talk about leftists in the book per-se, or politics for that matter, but his description of human evil fits them so well it is spooky:

1. The evil hide their motives with lies.

Bad people with bad ideas hiding behind screens of continuous deception are precisely what the left is.

2. Evil people want to appear to be good.

I don't even have to comment on that one....

3. When confronted by evil, the wisest and most secure adult will usually experience confusion.

This is why leftists are so hard to figure out.  Trying to deal with them is an exercise in futility.  Offer them something that is objectively good, that helps to achieve their STATED aims, and they'll reject it.  Offer it enough and they'll attack you and call you names.  Only when you realize that their stated aims are the opposite of their actual agenda do their actions begin to make sense.

4. Evil seeks to discourage others to think for themselves (fosters dependency).

This is the one that I think is most telling.  It is possible to believe that other things the left does are good, or at least intended to be good.  A non-leftist could look at the left and assume that they are trying to do good, could be fooled by them.  But what they work to do that cannot be construed as positive or well intentioned are their efforts to trap people in poverty and make them dependent upon the state.  Next comes their creation of imaginary thought-crimes and speech-crimes in the form of Political Correctness.  The truth isn't afraid of dissent, only people who peddle lies.

So instead of looking to Obama as the problem, look at him and understand that he's merely the symptom and that the real culprits are other Americans who work each day to destroy our nation and darken our futures.

5. To oppose evil we must have an ongoing dedication to reality at all cost.

Not all leftists are bad on an individual level.  Many are merely hoodwinked.  They believe they are good people doing good things, not understanding that their entire worldview is essentially a destructive lie.  They can be helped.  They can be persuaded.  They can be rescued.  Other people, your Noam Chomsky types, the people who craft the lies of the left themselves, cannot be helped but must be fought and resisted at every turn.

I will just repost what I put in the headlines thread about this:

Obama: The Republicans Want To Turn America Into A Third World Nation

My G-d, this turd has chutzpah. The self-styled Avenging Angel of the Third World who looks to do nothing but destroy this nation now spends his time telling actual Americans what America is all about (*spit*) and now he's accusing the GOP of wanting to turn the US into a third world shithole, just like his home country of Indonesia. Unbelievable. If America doesn't impeach and try this piece of shit, then we deserve the shit we get.

I would add, the Indonesian Imbecile feels free to project on the GOP because the GOP is full of nbothing but pussies who were always to scared to explicitly state what an America-hating, INELIGIBLE, third world retard Obama is.  That is all nothing but the truth, but since GOPers are scared to state the truth, the Indonesian Imbecile feels free to cast these projective accusations on them.

When will they learn?

.... never.

----------------------------------------------

I have been trying, with all my heart, to explain to people how important it was to be honest about the third world retard and warned that, if the GOP and conservatives refused to do this, they would open us all up to this sort of idiocy.  This is very mohammedan of B Hussein - steal something from someone and then accuse the original owner of having stolen it, just as mohammed did with thee Old and New Testaments (and which most Jews and Christians in the world still play along with).

Obama IS the third world.  He is a thrid worlder.  He was always about exacting some deluded and insane third world revenge on the US and the West.  Can the GOP and conservatives finally start saying this?

The Big O does not take criticism well.  They went after Trump very quickly after Trump started the birth certificate suff.  Boehner shouldn't have been afraid of a showdown with him.  Unlike Clinton, who was deftly able to make people think of him as a victim, Obama gets strident and unpleasant very quickly.  Those live air comments he made in Chicago make him sound thin skinned and prickly.  More please.

that's very true.  And it doesn't even have to be really political.

I'm watching this debacle over the fox news political blogger who wrote a little blurb about BO's speech and mentioned the student suicide.  It was in very poor taste but she probably just figured it was notable as the president was on the campus.   Everyone has gone nuts over it.  The students, the university, the MSM, all of them.  They've politicized it more than the original blogger who I don't think meant to politicize it or infer anything but was just guilty of having no class.  It's now got a thousand comments on huff poo poo and counting and very little blogger is linking to the article.  They are trying to use this to take Fox news down like they took Glenn Beck down.

It's really depressing to watch.  They've made more of a political situation out of this poor kid's suicide than the mention of fox news ever did and it's becoming a circus.  It has me very very down to see this.

99 There are two allied sources of power driving the country into the dirt. The first is obviously the Marxists. But the second is the Gaia worshiping crowd that wants society to whiter to the point that most of the human race dies off.

These hippies are all prepared, hell they all know how to bake their own bread and grow a garden, they take herbal medicine and spend all of their waking time meditating.

The marxists have harnessed the votes and the energy of these hippies to facilitate their own power transition, and are counting on there being enough left of society to feed their own greed for power and riches while oppressing the rest of us.

I think the Marxists will lose this one, the hippies will win, and the rest of us will become something myths are made of to those who are lest 5,000 years from now.

In the mean time, while all hell breaks loose, the hippies can expect that every tree that exists is going to become fuel for our kitchens until no trees exist (it has happened before). There will be so much ecological devastation that only time will heal it. but they are counting on the human race being nothing but a few bands of insignificant tribes by then, and it will heal. So they will have achieved their objective.

Posted by: joeindc44 at April 15, 2011 12:14 PM (QxSug)

That's what they are all about. When you live in an ideology that says "My ideas=Good, Their ideas=Evil", you are not able to process other people's ideas. They define good ideas as ideas Democrats think of, nothing else. And if a bad idea happens to be a Democratic one, they will blame conservatives for it in anyway.

Think about how everyone defines Slavery by the region it came from(the South) as opposed to the Political Party that endorsed it. Because they blame the region(apparently, Geography can make you evil), they are able to shift blame in the minds of unthinking voters.

Slavery and Segregation= South. Republican party= Party of South(today). Therefore, Slavery and Segregation= Republican Party. With this simple logic trick, they shift hundreds of years of Democrats supporting racism...to the party that freed slaves, enforced reconstruction and fought to ban lynching.

If you point this out, many will cede that Dems supported Slavery...but then they'll bring up the evil "Southern Strategy"! Which, as far as I can tell, is a myth. But even if it real...Nixon was one guy. How the hell does one President's alleged racist strategy overcome hundreds of years of the other party endorsing lynching and segregation?

103 Speaking of Slavery, I see an historical allegory there. Democrats have always supported using people in terms of cheap labor for economic power, and gaining a higher population for representative power. They just shifted the agenda from blacks to latinos.

When that group asserts it's power and fights the machine, they'll just use a trick to blame Republicans...and then they'll find some other minority group to exploit while they "fight for them". Yeah, the Democratic Party...the party of giving you trinkets and claiming to be magnanimous for it.

107 A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government.

Yes, it's terrifying to watch if you read history.  We are in the Opposite of the Fifties, when almost nothing was political--now almost everything is.

When times are Good and getting Better, people are even less interested in or influenced by political messages.  But lately ( when times are Bad and getting Worse ) people who rarely or never tune into political messages are much more vulnerable

The real culprit, as noted above, is one or two percent who are Left and politically active, but the climate today gives them a lot of influence that they rarely have ( and never had before )

That's how you get 52.5% voting for a mentally disturbed community organizer who's a combo of Castro and Stalin and Goebbels and Peron

One of my other subversive social activities, apart from handing out copies of Animal Farm to the college aged, is popping Dr. Zhivago into the DVD when lib relatives drop by and ask to see their scars.

I also recommend Dr.Z to my doctor friends who are libs. When they start carping about financial problems and say they are going to retire early, I just say the word "conscription" and laugh. They can retire into olive drab or sun themselves in Leavenworth. And face a firing squad if they screw up. Always a big laugh getter.

Great post Lee,
This is why I don't really get pissed at the politicians.  They are who they are.  This is a democracy and ultimately the American public is responsible for the outcome.
