— Ace Democrats are just acting like jackasses. They are using some kind of dilatory tactic but a Republican just said that make no mistake, in two hours, the vote will be taken.
I don't know what that tactic was -- I came in too late. They mentioned removing someone for the cameras or something.

Yes, but to claim they weren't "fighting for their base" was a little off. Their tactics may have been smarmy, but they were (somewhat) effective. Until they overplayed their hand, anyway.
While I don't suggest any Republicans ever try to get away with this, I would love more underhanded-ness from them when it comes to political battles. Fighting by Marquis de Canterbury rules when your opponent is fighting by Marquis de Sade rules is not a good way to win.

I disagree with this statement. Republicans in WI didn't meet behind closed doors and bar the opposition from certain meetints. Republicans in WI didn't try and deem and pass. Republicans in WI didn't write a 2000 page bill that no one could reaad. Republicans didn't pull all the dirty tricks and shenanigans that Democrats did to get their monstrous health care bill through. Considering he's not only talking about but actually supporting entitlement reform now, he very well bring-up the issue. I was just noting the change because he's allowed Vitter and the Texas delegation to discuss the issue instead. So who knows.

There also needs to be some way for parents to get their kids out of the hands of these people. WI needs to go ahead and implement a voucher system under the guise of protecting the good students and teachers from the reprisals that will certainly come from the rest. There is no other way out for kids who did not participate in the protests and we have seen more than enough of the lack of professionalism from these teachers to predict the abuses they will hand out to those who can't fight back.
