Metaphor of the Day
— Ace

Okay, it's not a metaphor for anything. But it must be posted.

Stay with it-- it's a little too drawn-out. If you get bored skip ahead to 2:00.

Thanks to Rob.

3 When I first saw the title "Two Dogs Dining", I was expecting to see a vid of Rosie O'Donnell and Katie Couric eating lunch together...

This is a pleasant surprise,

I think that is more of an insult to the dogs than kloppenberg.

That was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. How they got those dogs to sit there and not snarf the food is the big mystery.

Nah; I trained mine to wait for my permission before eating, a lot of dog owners do that.

Now if I'm not present or if food falls on the floor she figures it's fair game, but otherwise she doesn't eat her food or take a treat before I give her the OK.

Government Shutdown, Pink Hair, and Snakes

Long story short: Girl with pink hair rides the train (the Red line in Boston) and decides to bring along her boa constrictor.

Snake disappears.

MBTA searches for snake. Eventually finds the snake.

You with me, so far? Good.

The MBTA gives back the pink-haired idiot her snake. And they present her with a bill for $650.00.

She cries! She says she can't pay it; she shouldn't have to pay it.

Guess what?

She's on DISABILITY.

WE PAID for this idiot's snake.

WE PAID for this idiot's pink hair.

SHUTDOWN THIS DYSFUNCTIONAL GOVERNMENT NOW!!!

32 >>Nah; I trained mine to wait for my permission before eating, a lot of dog owners do that. Yeah, I did too. But I didn't train mine to only eat one bite at a time. Once the balloon goes up, I never put my hands between the dog and the food.

Why did they let her on the train with this snake in the first place?  Does her disability require her to carry around a boa constrictor?

easy, when you get a dog, the first rule you teach them is that YOU own everything, the couch, the kitchen counter, the food you set before them, the dust bunnies under the bed, it's ALL yours and they only get what you give them when you want them to have it, in other words, they get air unless you actively give them something else.

has to be that way all the time, everytime, anytime, it's worth the effort to have a dog you can control in any situtation.

Someone see the chi flat iron wall will down, if not help, then do not push is also a good; see someone porridge, you eat meat, you do not want to give, then do not spat on the mouth is a good, see someone cry, if you do not want comfort, Then do not gloat is also a good; as a teacher, if not students everywhere, it is not fraught with chi ceramic flat irons a kind. - good is actually very simple.
