John Nolte from Big Hollywood puts it well here. Basically, we just attacked a Middle Eastern country with no Congressional authorization.
Where is the anti-war movement?
I'd love to claim credit for the idea, but it was all DrewM. His brain, my photoshopping.

Two of my kid's buds e-mailed two days ago, they're en route to a ship off the coast of Libya. I won't say more.
Yay! CiC Barry! Partaying while the military shifts young men and women around the globe to do your bidding.
Limp-wristed fucker.

OT From AT: Obama Attacks Libya, and Where's Congress?
We have a runaway government acting against the interests of the United States and beyond its legal authority. Does anyone have the backbone to stop it and hold Obama accountable? Will there be an international war crimes trial for Barack Obama?
Seems like the short cuts might finally catch up with bho.....not.
Seems like the press is carrying his water. Not a word about warmongering. If he were a Repub, there would be hell to pay.

American lives: a sacrifice Obama is willing to make.
Luckily our armed forces are pretty damned good at staying alive and killing lots of the other guys.

I've heard from multiple sources that a main source of the "fighters" used against us in Iraq and Afghanistan are from the Benghazi area of Libya. That should tell you everything about there intentions.
Ghaddafi is a bastard, much worse than the Shah, but whomever succeeds him is going to be worse, particularly for US interests.

"So we heard this huge crash, and our Staff Sgt. said, 'Let's go, guys', and we ran outside. There was a car upside down on fire. Someone ran inside and got a crowbar from the bar tender. We pulled the woman out. We went over to the cab driver, and he was unconscious with a compound fracture in his right arm. One of the Marines pulled off his t-shirt and cut it into strips, and applied tourniquets. Another lady in another car, in spite of her air bag, her head was split from front to back. She died with us."

I'm self-taught on photoshop, so constructive criticism always welcome. Which tool would you suggest to get rid of the cutout 'scars?' That's a serious question, so now is your chance to prove you are interested in more than bitchy snark.
Posted by: Slublog at March 21, 2011 05:51 PM (W6yy7)
The BIGGER question, is where is the Law and Order RIGHT on this... you know those folks who have Sworn to uphold the Constitution?
Republicans.... does not that denote that they are for a REPUBLIC? One based on the Rule of Law?
NeoCons are giving Obama cover, as he destroys the very foundations of the Republic (Grahm et al...).

OK, technically two questions, but my point is still "why are you qualified to offer constructive criticism"?

Even if they try that manner of tortured excuse, it won't excuse Obama from the War Powers reporting requirements of Title 50 1543
He's mandated to explain this to the speaker of the house and president pro tem of the Senate within 48 hours, and his 60/90 day clock is running. Lacking congressional approval, he'll be forced to start withdraw after 60 days and be completely out in 90.

Damiano mentioned using the blur function. My preference is to go with the feather function (typically 10-15 pixels) for something like this.
YMMV...

Great photoshop, for sure. Fly, fly, fly, Clarice.
This is one of the most amazingly hypocritical aspects of the left, and IMHO, it just recently cost lives.
When a Democrat is President and uses military force abroad, all the anti-war festering and hyper-ventilating of the liberals goes silent. Whatever rationale is given is just fine to them. When a Republican is President, no reason is ever enough.
The worst part to me is that I will always believe the Iraq engagement would have been much less bumpy, would have been less prolonged, and less lives would have been lost had the left/Democrats not undermined the war effort so venomously. Their vicious flouting of the motto about politics ending at the water's edge encouraged and enabled the enemy, and the perception of a house divided prolonged the struggle. Scum.
And don't even talk about the "right to dissent". There is an appropriate way to do that and there is an inappropriate way, and it isn't rocket science. Reagan showed the way when he was a candidate while American hostages were being held in Iran while Carter was President.
