— Dave in Texas The guy just kills me sometimes. President Accepts Government Transparency Award in Secret, Undisclosed Meeting.
The secret presentation happened almost two weeks after the White House inexplicably postponed the ceremony, which was expected to be open to the press pool. This time, Obama met quietly in the Oval Office with Gary Bass of OMB Watch, Tom Blanton of the National Security Archive, Danielle Brian of the Project on Government Oversight, Lucy Dalglish of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, and Patrice McDermott of OpenTheGovernment.org, without disclosing the meeting on his public schedule or letting photographers or print reporters into the room.
He's officially launched more cruise missiles than any other Nobel Peace prize recipient in history, AND he's the most transparentest open President ever.
Keep in on the DL.

I guess Arafat's unguided potshots really don't count as "cruise missiles" but at least O's in the company of spiritual equals.

Soon most of the stupid people will view honesty as an aberration. Of course when you are talking about politicians it is.

On the eve of a key hearing about political interference with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the conservative group Judicial Watch announced Tuesday it is suing DHS for documents requested under FOIA relating to the Obama administrationÂ’s plans on immigration regulation.
“President Obama may deny he has a plan to suspend deportations but the experience of immigration attorneys in Houston suggests otherwise,” wrote Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton in a press release. “That’s why it’s critical that Homeland Security follows the open records FOIA law and turns over these records.”
“The stonewalling by the ‘transparent’ Obama administration suggests it has something to hide,” stated Fitton.

The key agent is repression. If you continue to repress people, eventually they’ll respond. Human beings cannot continue to live like this. If we’re being killed anyway, the question will become: Are we going to have death with dignity, or are we going to die like slaves? There will be a turning point. The US failed to help contain the Bahrain crisis as a domestic issue when [the Obama administration] Clinton and the Americans said the Jazeera Shield is lawful. Where is the condemnation of the authorities’ abuses that are taking place on a daily basis now? We don’t see the international community here. We’ve called for the international community to send a UN mission and let them investigate what’s going on, and make whoever’s responsible for trouble accountable, whether those troubles issue from the authorities or protestors. They will protect the Libyans, but as for the Bahrainis, well, we’re on our own. Apparently, there are other “difficulties” and “complications.”

Radical!
...if only being made an official target were not true given the revisionist "transparent" recorded precedence of Janet Napolitano's first official memo from the authoritarian DHS anti-constitutional bureaucracy birthed by neoconservative GOP "Miss Me Yet?" GWB.
As if an entire unconstitutional uber-bureaucracy was required in order to supposedly coerce the nation's intelligence community to communicate, and to secure our nation's borders and interior from Jihad and the terrorism of organized crime.

Obama's PR campaign aligns his US pro-al-Qaida alliance with Reagan's position (win/win for Obama's anti-Bush-inheritance rhetoric).
Transparent US Foreign Policy pro/con/pro al-Qaida has reached full circle, not that it won't forge ahead as momentum persists through war effort to war effort empowering the select few while disrupting and destroying the rest of the world's expendable populations.

Jumping on the Trump Bandwagon at this point would be the GOP version of the '08 Democrats pushing the unknown Obamawagon hoping for change and getting the worst ever for failing due diligence.
Build the platform. If Trump agrees to the constitutional conservative platform, then engage in earnest dialogue.
Otherwise, to date his only stated position is pro-equalization protectionist tariffs that inevitably have their own negative impact on the Dollar and the US Economy though it might have a shot at "patriotic" emotional appeal. What economic position has Trump taken against the Federal Reserve, bail-outs, interest rates, national budget and spending, and taxation? He has panache but remains a relatively unpublicized agent on national policy, though he has proudly announced that he IS a "compassionate conservative" aka neoconservative for open US Borders, amnesty for illegal aliens, bail-outs for "too big to fail" globalist financial industry members (he'll become a member), and ongoing "pro-democracy" wars without end. Trump supports/reflects McCain.

The irony of this closeted award would be hilarious if we had a real president instead of a teleprompter puppet. This administration is completely clueless on how they appear to the American public. What makes this scary is they simply don't care.
Maybe this "transparency" is getting out of hand for the shrinking Obummer. Soon he will be a true empty suit at the podium.
