Everyone is sorry when they are caught.  Giving someone credit for being sorry after he was caught is silly.  Sure, go harder on someone who shows no remorse, b/c they are demonstrating no human emotion and are likely truly evil.  But to actually applaud someone, or give credit, for being "truly sorry" is setting a pretty low bar.

I would applaud him for being "truly sorry" if he resigned.  Absent that, his sorrow is meaningless.  Also, in situations like this, someone's remorse isn't the issue.  His family may care whether he is truly sorry for what he did to them - it may help them forgive him.  But why do we care if he is "truly sorry"?

When people say "this is a personal issue, it's nobody's business" I call bs. Congressmen are privy to top secret material. By putting himself in the position he did he could have easily been blackmailed. If anyone has dealt with top secret clearances they know that this is more serious than just "now that I got caught please respect my family's privacy." Tiger Woods was a circus. This is much more disturbing in that Weiner put himself into a very compromising situation. Why doesn't anyone talk about this angle to the story?

I honestly don't think he cared if they were 14 or 40. As long as they were down with receiving pics of Weiner's mini me he didn't care. I doubt he was checking IDs. And if it's found that he was doing this with minors, even the rehab card won't save him from prosecution.

Actually under sharia he's in the clear.  If the shamed woman doesn't have four witnesses, SHE is guilty.  And can be killed "by right" (aka "honor killing" under sharia.

There was no hack?  I don't follow.  There may not have been a hack of Weiner's twitter account but the media's performance?  There a hack, there a hack, there a hack, hack, hack.

CNN covered this in the beginning for one reason:  to nail Breitbart.

Breitbart should've turned to Weiner, fingering the manila envelope thoughtfully, and asked him if there was anything else he'd like to get out in front of now, while the getting out in front was good?

Who knows what other shit Breitbart knows about? And who knows what other shit Weiner had done better than Weiner?

This is complete and utter victory for Tony Weiner...He will either be reelected or elected Mayor of NYC.

And one thing not mentioned much, but to me should be, is that the liberal MSM totally failed the USA by their blind loyalty to the Left.  They showed themselves on the national stage to be unreliable and overtly biased.  Anybody paying attention to this story should have their eyes opened a little farther.
