New Tone: #OccupyBoston Protesters Spit On Coast Guard Member
— andy

I started to swing by the Greenway on my walk to work from the train station this morning and throw a few bars of Irish Spring at these maggots, but they appear happy in their filth.

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The Coast Guard in Boston confirmed that a woman in uniform was harassed and spat upon near Occupy Boston protesters.

The woman was walking to the train and said protesters spit on her twice, called her foul names and even threw a water bottle at her.

Classy.

But of course, the organizers of this rabble blame it on people who aren't really part of the group. Because, you know, Coasties get spit on all the time around here or something.

Devon Pendleton, a spokesman for Occupy Boston, doesn't believe that those male protestors are actually part of the movement. However, Pendleton wants to be clear, that if protestors are responsible for doing something so disrespectful, he'd like to apologize on behalf of Occupy Boston.

Remember when the press was interested in getting details right and didn't blame tea partiers for every conceivable bad act that occurred within a 50-mile radius of a tea party rally? Yeah, me neither.

Sorry, Occupy Boston - you own this.

Filthy "human" scum.

I do wonder if anyone has video of this.  It would be nice to have physical, visual evidence.  They're still pretending that Tea Partiers spat on John Lewis during the healthcare debaucle despite all evidence to the contrary, the most damning of which being the lack of actual evidence.  It would be so perfect if we could actually show the world the barbarous behavior of these pigs.

Of course, if people still take them seriously after one dude shit on a cop car and another dude explained the rationale behind "twinkling," then there's no hope for them.

It is a great comfort to me that there is an aging hippy walking around somewhere whose nose still hurts.

It's interesting. A person literally standing with the OWS movement spits on a guard, but they're not with the movement.

A people who flew a small plane into an IRS building and wrote an manifesto that quoted the communist manifesto is a Tea Partier.

A schizophrenic shoots and kills a Republican judge, several innocent people and wounds a Democratic representative is a Tea Partier.

A Federal worker commits suicide and writes "Fed" on his own chest and he was killed by Tea Partiers.

A Union man bites off the finger of a Tea Partiers and it's "Tea Party Violence".

62 Not for the first time I was utterly wrong. I thought this Bowel Movement scum would get bored and peter out by now. However, with the lavish tongue baths the motherfucking media has been administering and the degradation of our culture, the microscopic Bowel Movement (in true comparison of size to the Tea Parties) continues farting and spitting. One thing that certainly promotes this simian behavior is that no one likes to say "No." Fifty years ago had such a group of bums spat on someone in uniform, by-standers would have stepped in and at least yelled, or at most delivered a few black eyes. By-standers, not cops. Vagrant Jeebus on a porta-potty, who bothers with rules of conduct these days? It shows in matters as small as express lines in supermarkets: People with 24 items hogging the line for 10 and not even the checker can be troubled to send him away to another line. Trivial, but symptomatic. Parents permit children to misbehave in public places in ways seldom seen fifty years ago. Conversely adults think nothing of swearing like an audition for a Quentin Tarantino movie right in front of their own kids, or even in front of others' children in public. Just enlarge the ramifications of this observation to wider realms. You find it's no surprise even a woman in a Coast Guard uniform can receive abuse and battery from scum with impunity, when in a former age the perps would have earned loose teeth for the trouble.

Eviction of Occupy Wall Street from NYC Park Postponed

City officials said early this morning they will postpone a cleanup of  Zuccotti Park after earlier threatening to evict Occupy Wall Street protesters who have been encamped here.

As the announcement was made via the “peopleÂ’s mic” just before 7 a.m., the crowd waved their brooms in triumph.  Mayor Michael BloombergÂ’s office tweeted that Brookfield Properties, owner of the park,  (and not the city) decided to postpone cleaning. The city was informed “late last night.”

Occupy Wall Street had vowed yesterday to stay in the park and try to prevent the cleaning crews from entering...

69 And as far as the human garbage taking over and destroying a park in NYC so that local people can't use it with their children and dogs, the people of NYC deserve this for being the liberal douchebags that they are. Actions have consequences. Same goes for the businesses surrounding the park who are complaining about filthy hippies using, messing up, and damaging their restrooms, without bothering to buy anything. Their restrooms are private property, if they don't have the balls to limit them to paying customers, it's their own fault. These NYC liberals are reaping what they sow.

Way late, but there were some comments suggesting Dems/Lefties were coordinating/planning 'something' for the election cycle, mostly due to the apparent coordination of message, eg JJJ's and Chris Tingle's remarks, et al.

If there's going to be anything, that would look more like the tactics used during the 08 Dem Primaries & Caucuses vs. Hillary. Which would mean NBPP-style intimidation at the polls going National, basically. And why not? NBPP was dismissed. "Guilty as sin, free as a bird"

It also makes sense because the only way Obama wins currently is by depressing Republican turnout.

I'd suggest to all: Vote early & absentee, volunteer to escort voters to the polls no matter where you are.

I have visited the Coast Guard Academy (with a rival Academy rifle team) and gotten to know some of their cadets and staffers. Being half the size of the other academies, they do everything just about twice as hard.

I would not cross the coasties in a belt-match. They are some laudably tough sonsofbitches, good people to have on your side. The protesters in question have no idea (but we knew that) how lucky they are. I doubt she'd have needed any Marines -- though it never hurts to have them around...

92 There is also this from FOX-Boston: Occupy Boston protests could cost city $2 million in police overtime Updated: Thursday, 13 Oct 2011, 1:17 PM EDT Published : Wednesday, 12 Oct 2011, 8:37 PM EDT BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - If the Occupy Boston protests last through October, it could end up costing taxpayers $2 million in Police overtime costs. That figure coming from City Council President Steve Murphy. FOX 25 has filed a Freedom of Information Act with the City of Boston to find out the exact number of overtime costs. We've been told that number is still being tallied. The $2 million figure represents 8% of the yearly budget for police overtime. The thought of the steep bill has many, including Murphy, worried. "While we're all sympathetic with our protesters down there, Wall Street isn't picking up the tab on this thing. It's the Boston taxpayers." Organizers behind the protest say the 24 hour police protection is unnecessary. "They don't need this many police observing us. They don't need to have helicopters up every night. It's just burning through money," said Occupy Boston spokesman Phil Anderson.

Remember yesterday when we were talking about traveling back in time and kicking Woodrow Wilson in the nuts and giving FDR a noogie?

I was thinking it would be easier if we just go back to 1791 and tell James Madison to not be so ambiguous in his Bill of Rights.

So, in case one you travel back in time to meet Linda Lovelace or go witness the JFK assassination, consider going back to 1791.

185 But of course- BOSTON—Labor unions are turning out in force to support the Occupy Boston movement, saying protesters and workers are fighting for the same goals. Unions representing teachers, carpenters, nurses, ironworkers and the building trades were among those who converged on the protester's encampment in Dewey Square near Boston's South Station on Thursday. Earlier in the day, newly elected Massachusetts AFL-CIO President Steven Tolman toured the encampment to meet with protesters and pledge his support. Many of the protesters said they welcomed the backing of unions, but said they wanted to maintain Occupy Boston as an independent movement. The protests were sparked by an Occupy Wall Street movement in New York which grew up around anger at corporate greed and the growing divide between the wealthiest and the vast majority of Americans. Maybe we could just have them add a requirement to all the elected positions: no one who had a relative, at one step remove or less, who held any Federal elected position can hold a federal elected position.

Yes, this means we wouldn't have gotten JQ Adams, but it would also mean a death to political dynasties in general.  Which IMO would have fixed a lot of this.

From Austin commenter:

Austin, the city brought in portable restrooms and trash containers, yet these lowlife worthless protesters are urinating and even defecating on the sidewalks out of protest. One even defecated on the hood of a police car. All their trash goes on the ground, and some are painting graffiti on buildings. No Tea Party member would even consider acting like this. The only reason they can get away with this uncivilized behavior is because they're left wing liberals, supported by the democratic party. But now, even a lot of democrats are getting fed with them.

151 O/T: Rick Perry's plan (phase I: jobs and energy) is out. You can download the PDF here.

----------

Y-not.....I skimmed through it, and it looks pretty much like what he's been saying for a long time. But it will be 'new' to a lot of people.

It's going to make liberal heads explode.

People have to come to grips with the fact that we are in an Oil Economy, worldwide. ....Like it or not, we are. When the price of oil goes up, everything else goes up too. The price of gas at the pumps affects everything.

So it really does boil down to getting our own domestic production going again.

A million jobs in the oil & gas industry....will generate hundreds of thousands of jobs in other sectors, from the ripple effect.

Our economy will never recover as long as we are sending trillions of dollars to OPEC and other foreign producers....like we are doing right now.

This is why getting our own production going is so important. Two big reasons. ...It will create jobs in producing our own energy....and it will keep our energy-purchase dollars here. So, in that way....it is a 'force multiplier'.

The CBC member who claimed he was spat upon was Emanuel Cleaver (D, MO), not John Lewis (D, GA) (warning: link goes to Ms. Nanzi praising OWSers).

It would be helpful if the CBC (aka, Cry Baby Caucus) would issue trading cards on which each member would list their particular grievances, incidents of disrespect and proudest accomplishments. That should make the hastening of their demise that much easier.

P2) Unions are fighting for the same things as Occupy This
C) Unions are fighting for Communism.

I wore the Green with PRIDE, yet when I see these young men and women serving today, I feel humbled.

It would be an immeasurable honor to wear it again with them.

258 MSLSD thinks we need a 'Kent State ' moment.

Didn't someone recently bring up poll results from after the Kent State incident showing the country's reaction to it was not what the Pig-Ignorant Left imagines it was, in their revisionist re-imagining of history?

"...the Movement needs to blow up"

Pundits on Morning Joe/MSNBC this morning were talking about how there needs to be a "Kent State moment" in these protests.

These guys are wanting to see some martyrs being created. ....They're wanting it so bad, that somebody on the left will probably make it happen.

Exactly!

Also speaking of manufactured exploits, does anyone else think it odd that the OWS crap started AFTER the 911 events in NYC?  You would think that given the national audience and influx of VIPs into the city, that would have been the opportune time to be in peak hissy fit mode.  I guess the human filth was only unleashed AFTER all the beautiful moments, speeches, and photo ops at ground zero - which by the way is relatively just around the corner from Wall Street.

270 I think that there now is no living with the leftwing so-called Americans anymore. Does anyone disagree that there simply cannot be coexistence with these traitors and entitled violent pussies from now on? I think the break, the separation is permanent. I cannot conceive of living under any version, even watered-down, of their sick tyranny. I'd prefer to be dead, myself. I don't think they understand what kind of threat is embodied in their "positions". They do not realize that we, real Americans, were perfectly willing to kill every motherf***er on Earth in thermonuclear fire to keep from being enslaved. That determination isn't one whit reduced now. They don't realize that they are exactly AS EVIL as the other socialists we despise - National Socialists (Nazis). They just have different murder-first lists. This is no longer something we can hope to avoid. This is inevitable to transform into a total war situation and they still think they can somehow end up as the socialist equivalent of landed gentry - instead of the realistic result of ending up as radioactive ash.

272 While I am not in favor of the draft - I think a draft is involuntary servitude and I think a country which can't get enough volunteers to defend itself doesn't deserve to exist - in this case I can see the merit in the social argument that a draft teaches the ignorant young the facts of life.

So that being said I think a draft of OWS into the Peace Corps - how can they protest that - should take place. They can then be sent to dig ditches in God Forsakenstan- for a term of not less than 2 years or until such time as their parole board deems them fit to return to society. Hey it is a win win - they get to spread skittles and rainbows at their own expense and we get rid of their sorry whinning asses. Hey the people in God Forsakenstan have even greater need and wants and whines than these kids do - so it is their responsibility to provide it for them first. We'll spread signs among the God Forsakenstanians so they can protest them while the OWSers are there waiting on them hand and foot.

277 From San Diego;

As of 9 a.m. police had removed all but one tent, and a group of occupiers remained in the Plaza. More officers arrived on motorcycles and stood in a line near protesters. A portion of the Plaza was closed off with a chain-link fence, and city employees were cleaning it with a hose and brooms.

After tents were impounded, protestors yelled at police, "Thank you for stealing our home!"

Homes as in something you pay a good portion of actual income in rent or mortgage payments? Or home as in mommy's basement that you live in rent-free?

Why am I not suprised your name is "willow"?

I condemn you and the rest of the "ocuupy" fucsticks for talking violence, threatening violence, provoking violence and commiting violence. You're nothing less than a bunch of communist, nihilist losers with an ax to grind.

You are not the “99%”.  Of anything. YouÂ’re a hell of a lot better off than the generations of Americans who built and protected this country through mass immigration in the 19th century and two world wars.  YouÂ’ve got it made compared to your grandparents and great grandparents.  Instead of doing what it takes to get your lives together and work for what you want, even if it means taking that temporary less-than-desirable job,  youÂ’re too busy wallowing in self-pity.  Thank gawd this country didnÂ’t have to depend on assclowns like you during the last 235 years of its history. ItÂ’s bad enough youÂ’re going to be part of its future.

You have to do something besides sit on your ass and complain about how unfair it is that the eeeeevil rich have so much money. Ordinary rational humans wouldnÂ’t want to destroy their countriesÂ’ economy and penalize wage-earners with more taxation.  But, thatÂ’s the goal of the class-warfare neo-Bolsheviks in the White House and the Democratic party. Obama owns the socilaist trainwreck.

You're a gaggle of filthy, airheaded, aimless, self-absorbed derelicts.  You should even be allowed to breathe precious oxygen. Hey, I've got a great idea for a mass protest. Why don't you gather up as many of your fellow "occupy" fringenuts as possible,  go to the nearest skyscapper, take the elevator to the roof and jump off.

Asshole.

291 Well, to be fair, today's Coast Guard dark blue jumpers look almost exactly like the uniforms our office building janitors wear.

The dirty hippies might have thought they were agents of the Man, sent to scrub their filthy selves with Lysol and wire brushes.

Now if the Coasties would go back their OLD uniforms - the ones that made them look like very squared-away postmen - they might get a smidgen more respect.

For one thing, the dirty hippies might think they were fellow union slugs.
