— Ace A fact that might have had some legal relevance in 1998, eh?
In addition to Clinton's many other talents, he is known for having a near photographic memory. The term gets tossed around a lot, but to actually have the ability is quite rare. According to an article from the Washington Post, Clinton "stunned a friend visiting the White House by saying, 'Let's call your parents!' and then reciting a number he hadn't dialed in more than a decade." When Clinton spoke with Oprah about his autobiography, he said had no trouble remembering "what happened to everyone's children and grandchildren," a talent that came in handy while writing his life story.
And yet a talent which failed him entirely when questioned during a deposition.
I guess this post is a little off-base, because Clinton's claim wasn't that the forgot, but that he defined things differently than most people. Asked point-blank if he had ever been "alone" with Monica Lewinsky, he said, sworn to the truth, that he had not been.
When it was revealed he'd done all sorts of things with her, he said "I guess we were alone, but I never thought we were."
Just talking from personal experience-- people are generally alone when they're doing the Disappearing Cigar trick.

So were you the disappear-er or the disappear-ee? (Sorry, it was there, I had to take it).
Barack Obama is a stuttering clusterf*ck of a miserable failure. He is a failure of such magnificent proportions that he makes me long for the Clinton years.

He really had no choice. He embraced parts of Newt's contract with America and even took credit for it.
I would call it capitulation.. but, Dick Morris preferred to think of it as triangulation to make it seem more like it was Clinton forming new policy as a hybrid between left and right.

My favorite Clinton quote from the impeachment embroglio?
"I was just stretching my feet out to stick 'em up on the Resolute desk, whilst talking on the phone to Yassir Arafat, and my dick just fell into her."
Ahh, good times. Good times.

A categorical imperative would be one which represented an action as objectively necessary in itself, without reference to any other purpose - Kant
Is it right to lie? By not following the universal definition, Clinton is the source of the current distrust in the government. That is his legacy.

Maybe Clinton will remember that his economic recovery took place after a Republican House and Senate were elected.
If there was not a surplus of liars in this country, there would be no Democratic party.

Clinton, just like Kris Kristofferson*, was a Rhodes scholar.
Obama, Man With 160 IQ, was not, nor did Obama achieve any type of scholarly notice or accolade. Weird, eh?
*Yes, really.
(Waterhouse looked it up and noticed that more than a few hillbillies (from Arkansas, no less, were Rhodes scholars.)

I would take it further, that lying in a position of power leads to universal mistrust. Thus, SCOAMF and Billie have lead this nation into the morass of mistrust by their prevaricating natures.

You know, it's sad that I now long for the days when all I really had to worry about was my President having sex with chubby interns in the Oval Office, raping women in trailer parks, making illegal campaign finance transactions with Chinese nuns, perpetrating shady real estate deals, and generally being a disgusting human being with a bulbous nose and a shrewish wife.
If I weren't so angry, I'd be suicidally depressed.

GW Bush again stated that as a former President, he won't insert himself into the current administration and comment on their performance.
Clinton & Carter both have had no such honor. They are attention whores who constantly need the media's bootlicking and the left in general to help them feel relevent. To hell with them both.

IIRC Clinton was asked if he and Monica were ever "alone in the White House". Clinton later claimed he interpreted the question to mean if the two of them were ever the only two people present in the entire building.
Yeah, he's an honest fellow.

I seem to recall the photographic memory thing (obviously my memory is not quite photographic, nor would I want it to be). They used to say that's why he was such a wiz at crossword puzzles, could do them in minutes, even the hardest ones (no pun intended).
Seriously, I think that's why he's such a phenominal liar. You and I would have trouble keeping things straight (again, no pun intended), when someone who knows what lies he told to which people would find it relatively easy.

Clinton, just like Kris Kristofferson*, was a Rhodes scholar.
Paradoxically, people in Oxford hold Rhodes Scholars in relatively low regard, viewing them as rah-rah jocks from the colonies. Only in the colonies are they highly regarded.

Clinton did claim that he "forgot" an important detail while being questioned under oath. From the Washington Post:
During his Jan. 17 deposition, just three weeks after his meeting with Lewinsky, Clinton was asked,"Have you ever given any gifts to Monica Lewinsky?" He answered, "I don't recall. Do you know what they were?"
Clinton later conceded that he "could have given her a gift, but I don't remember a specific gift." Under questioning, he said he bought souvenir items from the Black Dog store in Martha's Vineyard that were given to Lewinsky by Currie.
