— DrewM Mitch McConnell invited him for a meeting and Mr. Leadership says no. He's not even voting "Present" anymore.
White House press secretary Jay Carney, while not directly saying the invitation had been rejected, said Obama did not need to hear Republicans tell him what they would not support. That, Carney said, was "not a conversation worth having."
To quote a suddenly wise-man, Obama is being "a dick".
Yesterday Obama dickishly pointed claimed he'd worked hard on this.
I met with every single caucus for an hour to an hour and a half each -- Republican senators, Democratic senators; Republican House, Democratic House. IÂ’ve met with the leaders multiple times. At a certain point, they need to do their job.
Oooh...he spent 4-6 hours on this. Damn, that deserves a round of golf or two. Maybe even a trip to Hawaii.
As far as who has done their job and who hasn't. Keep in mind that Obama presented a laughably out of of touch budget with so much spending even the the Democratic Senate rejected even debating by 97-0. He did give a speech about it but as the head of the CBO said, that's useless.
Republicans meanwhile have passed the Ryan budget in the House and most GOP Senators supported it when it came up for a vote in that chamber.
Where are the Democrats? The Democratically controlled Senate hasn't passed a budget in over two years. Where's Obama's actual plan, not some dickish speech?
It's almost as if Obama is not interested in doing something but would rather have
an issue to run on. Leading from behind indeed.
Obama did get one bit of action from his speech and press conference yesterday...the Senate is going to stay in session and forgo the traditional July 4th recess.
Meanwhile, August isn't exactly the drop dead date for the debt ceiling.

The only plan the democrats and ABC news have is to RAISE TAXES. [which they stupidy equate as an automatic raising of revenue - which is bullshit]
Democrats are not serious about cutting big government spending and fixing problems. These fuckers passed PelosiCare for crying out loud.

Of course Sen. Ron Johnson already started that before Obama's big speechifying.

“So unless we receive some assurance from the Democrat leadership that we will actually start addressing our budget out in the open, in the bright light of day, I will begin to object. I will begin to withhold my consent," Johnson, a businessman from Oskosh, Wis., said on the Senate floor Tuesday.
“The Senate needs to pass a budget. It shouldn't be that difficult," he said.

I'm lovin' the jokes, but I can only think of stale real-world comparisons. So: I spent 160 hours with a team just to design a fricking mass mailing system for an insurance company. When the new manager came in to take charge of the new system, she fingered all the lazy dicks and fired them.

Hmmmm.... I guess it all relative...
Spending 6 hours on somthing, given Obamas work history, IS a VERY Long time for him.
Hmmm... interesting thought.... do we have the first ADD President?

Having the newly crowned "dick" in the White House has put Clinton's presidency in proper context for me. Yea Clinton was a douche, but Gees, he wasn't that bad compared to the "dick" there now.
Sure there were things about Clinton's personality that you could chuckle at and say yea deep down he might be a cool guy to hang with. Just ask Bush 41. The same goes for Bush 43. He seems like a really cool guy, you may or may not like everything he did, but yea he's ok same as Bubba.
But this "dick" WOW, it just escapes me what anyone with half a brain and a pulse sees in this guy that makes them wobbly in the knees. Ok he may be a good father, but that seems to be about it.
I haven't seen anything about this "dick" that can remotely be considered a decent decision for the country at all. Not one. Shit, Hillary would have done a better job.

Except for fund raising, I dont see Barry doing much of anything to give voters a reason to re-elect him and a LOT of ammunition for Republican attack ads (golf time, First Lady's extravagant trips, idiotic pressers.etc).... Now I dont think he is the sharpest tool in the shed, but for someone who ran or had run for him a brilliant campaign in 2008, he cannot be clueless as to what this is doing.
Its been questioned since 2009 if he even wanted a second term. I see little to change this question....
So, my wild thought... what if Barry is setting up the Dems for a "take-the-(campaign) money and run" deal???? Simply announcing at the last minute that he is backing out (insert reason here) and say.. oops, that money I raised was spent.
I know too much to hope for...... but I am truly puzzled by Barry's behavior recently....

Here's the problem. Obama talks and acts like all the nasty, demogogic things the MSM and Democrats have said about Republicans over the years is actually...true. Sure the MSM says these things, but it is just to convince the rubes. They know they are lying. Obama...believes all that crap. Really. He thinks Republicans ARE the party of the rich, that they hate minorities, that they are all warmongers. Worse yet, he acts on all these misconceptions. The MSM is genuinely confused. Doesn't he know? Doesn't he get the game?
So he comes off as a dick. Awkward.

"DemocRats are so pre-DICK-table".
Halperin's response makes MSNBC pre-dick-table shills.

Are you guys planning on doing profiles on the new prospective meat for the MSM grinder, er, Republican candidates, as they formally announce as a "getting-to-know-you" type thing?
It would be nice if the conservosphere gave all our newcomers a fair first shot, before the pre-DICK-table MSM wrote the establishment attack narrative.
Rumors swirling in the Beltway are McCotter and Perry both announcing this July 4th weekend, could be a busy time for the pundit class.

Just keep on pushing to cut spending, cut spending, and cut more spending, and devote a comparable amount of time to getting an actual conservative on the ballot for next year's presidential election. And NO RINOs, please.
