But since you violated them, I'd like to take a lousy swing too. Since King Putt has been in charge, there has been about $4 trillion in deficit spending. Total GDP for a year is somewhere in the ballpark of $14 trillion. So 4/14, carry the elevenses, works out to 28.5% of a single year's GDP. Even accounting for most of the stimulus going for hookers and blow, some of it must have caused a few things to be produced that counts towards GDP.
Now I added up all those quarterly GDP numbers from the JEF days, and get........19%. Now that is 19%/9 quarters, or around 2.1% annual growth. So we have 28.5%/9 = 3.1% borrowed money spending to get 2.1% growth. Yeesh. I don't gots no Harvard degree or anything, but that don't look so hot as a result.
And since the projections for GDP and deficit spending both remain in these same ballparks, it never gets better. Never.
Now to apologize for that above stuff, I offer up some fresh Iowahawk debt Armageddon predictions:
Beltway policy experts begin living by own wits; after 45 minutes there are no survivors.
Without college loan program, America loses an entire generation of Marxist Dance Theorists.

Crap. Now you see why I'm not allowed to play with math any more. The 28.5% needs to be divided by 2.75 years to get annualized, which works out to 10.3% of GDP. Oh shit. That is bad. A whopping 2% growth, fueled by 10% borrowing. Yeah, that is sustainable.

When the dust settles and a bill is passed and on the JEF's desk to sign, it will be trumpeted in a signing ceremony as the most miraculous event since the Resurrection of the Messiah, with the MFM singing the halleluiah chorus.
It will be all Him.
A presser will be held and all the reporters will be in shock and awe in His radiating presence, and only puffball questions will be submitted, allowing Him to voice this event as the New Coming of The One.
Because it's all about Campaign 2012, baby. All about it.

This is the kind of shit that really pisses me off on the "sports" clubs.
County government in Long
Island wants already beleaguered tax payers to fork over $400M for a new hockey
stadium. The county already has a huge
deficit and now they want to spend $400M to “keep the islanders from leaving”.
Piss on the islanders let them leave. If more cities and counties across the
nation refused this BS owners would quit holding the tax payers for ransom.
That's it for non-budget "news".

- Boehner deal gets held up because "Tea Party" wants changes; or do they want no deal at all? Honestly, I am confused. Anyway, Boehner gets enough "Tea Party" (?) votes to pass it. Cheers go up.
- The Senate gets it and refused to consider it with the help of six Republican "Tea Party" Senators (Sens. Jim DeMint, Lindsey Graham, David Vitter, Rand Paul, Mike Lee and Orrin Hatch.)
Will these Senators vote for any deal or is the game to get something passed without those six?
Those are honest questions.

Comrade, you should know by now that one of the most important rules of Socialism and Communism is that the divide between the deserving ruling class and the undeserving underclasses that need to be guided by the ruling class is supposed to increase. Otherwise, who would staff my dacha?
We do this by a gradual redistribution of wealth so that almost all the peasants are equally impoverished, the middle class (bourgeoisie) are destroyed, the few peasants and members of the MFM that are criminally insane are gradually elevated to the ranks of the elite, and we the elite live in gated communities.

The problems is once people discover that it is easier to steal from their fellow man for their daily bread than to work, they will steal. The ones who do work get tired of supporting the lazy and indolent, so they join them.
Soon more people are lazing about than are working. That is where we are at now. I also include gov workers of all stripes in that. Even though they are "working" in most cases, they are being supported by the private jobs.
When you reach that point it isn't long before the ultimate collapse. And that is where we are at now.

Tired of this "how dare this be politicized". Of course it is fucking political. There are fundamental differences between the 2.1 parties in power. For instance, it seems the Tea Party has read the Preamble and understands the difference between "Promote the General Welfare" and what will soon be rewritten to read "Provide the General Welfare." Now, if how we spend Federal tax dollars ain't fucking politcal, what the fuck is, Mr. Obama?
Anyone remember him laughing sarcastically about how "debating the debt ceiling and talking tax code" for 15 hours a day for three days is one of his favorite things to do? Real funny, asshole. Admitting that he gives less than half a fuck about American Citizen's hard earned money and making our money a trivial joke.

It was always intended simply as an explanation as to why the delegation had written a new Constitution instead of modifying the articles of confederatiion, which is what they were supposed to do.

I don't think the income tax numbers (51%) necessarily indicate a tipping point.
Not all of the 51% who don't pay federal income tax are living off the labor of others. There are a whole hell of a lot of people in that 51% who bust their asses making $10-$12 an hour trying to support a family.
Plus, the working poor who are a part of that 51% DO PAY federal taxes in the form of the payroll tax.
As for government workers... you know, some of them DO provide essential services. I don't know that it's fair to throw cops, firemen, court workers, etc. in the same boat with the parasites who use government assistance as a means to avoid working for a living.

It bugs the living shit out me when our President bawls legislators out for "politicizing" the debt ceiling debate. Isn't that what politicians are supposed to do? Debate what our tax dollars should be spent on? Like, bridges to nowhere, labs full of engineers studying the flow rate of ketchup, nice pensions for Weiners, etc. And the Tea Party has been successfully branded as a fringe group that wants zero taxes. Isn't that fucking ridiculous? Of course we need tax. Just not tax to pay for all the shit like I mentioned above.
Anyone our President whining a couple weeks ago about examining our tax code and all that tricky financial stuff associated with federal tax dollars? Searched for the sound bite, but just can't find it anywhere.
Seems the time is right to really get into the nitty gritty of just why exactly the Federal Government exists and why this country was created. Seems the Preamble is a pretty good place to start. Maybe that conversation will happen during the primary and Presidential debates. I, for one, would benefit from gaining a deeper understanding of it all, MINUS, of course, any lying liar revisionist bullshit of course. But how to discern that?
