— Ace Bad behavior, of course.
I know we're not there or anything, and maybe I'm going Godwin, but I always think of the Communists and Nazis fighting in the streets when I see this crap.
Grow up, pigs. No matter how much noise you make, Mommy will never really love you.
By the way, Newt promises a more aggressive campaign to combat his rivals' negative ads against him.
This might be an example of that, in which he characterizes Mitt Romney as essentially claiming the right to lie.

While answering a question during a town hall meeting in Maquoketa, Iowa, Perry forgot about the about the standard deduction he built into his own flat tax plan, saying it would be gone.
Jindal quickly chimed in to correct him. “You actually keep the standard deduction in your flat tax,” said the popular Bayou State Republican.
“Oh that’s right, as a matter of fact we raise it to $12,500, uh, per family I think,” Perry replied. “Thank you for correcting me on that governor… not that I ever make a mistake.”

Rick PerryÂ’s swipe at Mitt RomneyÂ’s private equity career Saturday was delivered with the precision of a mallet. Perry lumped together Washington, Wall Street and government-sponsored mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, declaring Romney part of a general problem with taxpayer-funded largesse for government employees and bank bailoutsÂ…
“‘I don’t think you have to actually have an address on Wall Street to be a part of Wall Street. I don’t think anybody gets confused that Bain Capital is part of that whole Wall Street structure. I don’t think that’s lost on anybody,’ Perry told The Huffington Post Saturday…
“Perry’s comments risk looking like a pure anti-profit jab: a statement that because Romney made a lot of money in the general realm of high-dollar investments, he is de facto blameworthy. This kind of broad attack on the financial system is what got Newt Gingrich in trouble last week, when he too knocked Romney’s Bain Capital career.”

Here is why the Washington Post Gave the ad 4 pinos.
1. It quoted an article in the Washington Post.
2. It quoted an article in the Chicago Tribune.
3. The bill he worked on with Nancy Pelosi was only party about giving money for abortions in China. It was mostly about CURBING GLOBAL WARMING.
4. The ad states Ginrich was the only Speaker to be reprimanded. It's true but some other guy resigned before he might of been reprimanded so it's a lie now.

He's been doing a bus tour across Iowa, he has something like 24 stops scheduled since yesterday to the end of the month. Next closest is Bachmann at nine with 5 yesterday and 4 today. Both Newt and Romney have no more scheduled stops in Iowa through the 31st.
Perry is touring with Bobby Jindal, yesterday walked down main street in De Witt (pop. 5k+) with it's mayor. Seems maybe to be lining up local support. He is also blitzing with a bunch of ads.

BOA bought Countrywide in 2008. Prior to that they did make minority loans but at higher interest rates than prefered loan applicants based on loan qualifications.
The federal mandates state that minoritys must be given the same rates regardless of risk involved. Thus by federal statute, minorities are MORE EQUAL than all the other loan applicants.
Also, since we have the first post racial Preznit and Attorney General all minority preferences will be enforced. No matter how far back we have to go to enforce them.
Next up: Reimbursment for Southern Slavery prior to the Civil War.

@10
The reason we had a housing bust was because banks were required to loan to people that had no incomes or assets or smaller incomes than required for the amounts of the loans. The department of justice was threatening many banks with lawsuits if said loans were not made because minorities were denied these loans for homes. This created a bubble market, where housing was in much greater demand than it would be in reality.
We did not have a housing bust because banks loaned to minorities as you stated, we had a housing bust because banks were forced by the justice department to make loans to unqualified applicants, many of which were minorities.
The responsibility for the housing bust falls squarely on the democrates for pushing the justice department into threatening lawsuits against the banks for not making more loans to questionable applicants (ie. voters who vote democrat).
The fact that democrats are now saying that the banks were greedy and just after profits when making these questionable loans is simply breathtaking. The MSM is completely in the tank for the left as usual in not exposing the role of the left in this housing bubble bust.
I think this is probably what you meant.

I think that conservatives should focus on getting in shape and taking some sort of hand to hand combat or self defense discipline -- boxing, wrestling, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Tai, etc...
It's becoming increasingly likely you'll need it, either with the OWS thugs, the SEIU goons, or the welfare parasites.
I'm not as fit or as good at fighting as I used to be--getting older will do that to you--but I'll be goddamned if I'll be bullied or cowed by these fucks. If anyone comes at me the way that OWS clown did Newt, they'd better be ready for violence.

I strongly recommend Aikido if you can find a school affiliated with Karl Geis. The stuff he teaches works brilliantly and is actually more effective as you get older. Most of the people in his home dojo in Houston are 45 or older.
How well does it work? One of his black belts - a psychiatrist in his middle 50's was in a local gym practicing a judo foot sweep in one of the mirrors to see if he was doing it properly - when another person in the gym said "How well do you think that stuff you do would work if I took a punch at you?" The Psychiatrist responded: "I don't know lets find out".
Please understand that the person offering to throw the punch was an Olympic Gold Medalist heavy weight boxer. The boxer took his punch, the psychiatrist touched him with a single finger, the boxer went stumbling out of control across the gym and wound up crashing into a weight rack. The other people in the gym confirmed to him that all the guy did was touch him with one finger.
Doubtless all of you think that story is bullshit. However there are only so many Olympic Gold Medalist heavy weight boxers who live in Houston Tx. Figure out who that is - email him and ask him if that happened.

The mini baton is pinched behind the earlobe for a fulcrum. As you rotate up it forces the end of the baton into that painful spot directly behind the lobe. Hurts like hell. Actually just jamming your finger there hurts like hell this just gives you more force and control of the subject.
I have a friend who's into real Kung Fu. He's been to China and all. I should get him to show me a few moves. Sounds like my church key could be used that way also. It's one of those long ones made out of extruded aluminum.
Thanks for the heads-up.

This administration is still forwarding these policies. They have been leaning on the banks to increase lending to minorities and into 'impoverished' neighborhoods.

I vaguely remember there being talk about this (since both AA and Southwest are based in Dallas, we hear a fair amount of airline news). I think this is actually one of those few things where everyone agreed in principle from the beginning (Govt, Pilots Union, Airlines) and just had to square away some details.
As I understand it, if that article is correct, that's actually not terribly bad. I'm sure it could be better (it's a government policy, after all), but it could easily have been much, much worse.

Meh. Aikido is fine, if it's what you've got. A 45 year old man (normally) is not going to be able to fight a 30 year old man and win. Aikido is a good way maximize your ability to fight when you're vastly physically over-matched.
Well. When you're vastly physically over-matched and closer than about 12 feet.

Yes, the UFC "hard" styles are best- when you're someone who trains specifically to fight other 20 - 30 somethings who get paid to train for fights.
When you're fighting some thug on the street? Not always. When you're an old guy trying to fight some 28 year old punk? No way.
No Martial Art was invented to be ineffectual (no, Tai Chi is not a martial art), and within its own paradigm any given martial art is very effective.
Boxing is very effective when the other guy promises not to kick you, for instance.
Judo, Aikio, and a few others are well suited to people who need to make up a lack of physical power.

Drunken Moron Bacon-hai Technique.
Absolutely devastating, and simple.
Young thug confronts you on street.
Throw bacon in the air
When young thug looks up to receive bacon, kick him in the nads
Run in opposite direction

Most of it is. That is why I specified a school affiliated with Karl Geis - his shit works. He also teaches judo. I do both - they are both effective.
I used Aikido professionally as a bouncer at some topless clubs in Houston - it works as advertised.

Don't know what that was, it certainly didn't look like anything I've ever learned. One of the great things about martial arts is that bullshit reveals itself - its structural qualities are very poor.
The toughest guy I ever fought on the street with Aikido was a starting linebacker for the University of Houston. Tough guy - 6'3" 235 lbs - bench 400 squat 600 - also a professional fighter; bouncer at a club. The week before he fought three guys at once - beat them all and held them for the police.
I was visiting one of the other bouncers - who did judo with me. My judo friend told the football player that I was an Aikido black belt. I was sitting in a chair minding my own business when the linebacker started a fight with me. His opinion of Aikido was much like yours - except he really was a dick, and he was going to prove that crap didn't work. Fifteen seconds later he evidently decided that he had been incorrect in his previous beliefs as he was on the ground screaming "No more - no more I give up".
The best part was the lecture I got to give him when I sat back down:"Son, there are people in this world you can't fuck with. Some of them are fat old men like me, some of them are women, you don't know who they are or what they look like, so you can't fuck with anybody." His face turned beet purple - but there really wasn't anything he could say.

I know we're not there or anything, and maybe I'm going Godwin, but I always think of the Communists and Nazis fighting in the streets when I see this crap.
It's a basic Socialist strategy. They display threatening behaviour and imply violence. Some of them commit bombings and assaults to make the implied violence more threatening, while the ones in the open claim that they are "just talking". Yet everyone knows that they have people among them that will escalate at anytime they feel like it, and none of the people that are "just talking" will do anything to prevent it. When the smoke settles they will just claim they are innocent while arguing that "if X hadn't been such an enemy of the People, this would not have happened."
National Socialists (nazis) were socialists at heart and had no problem countering communists with the same tactic, nor using it for others they saw as enemies.
