Today a bunch of millionaires descended upon Congress and demanded that taxes be raised:

Nearly 140 millionaires asked a divided U.S. Congress Wednesday to increase their taxes for the sake of the nation.

"Please do the right thing," the entrepreneurs and business leaders wrote President Barack Obama
and congressional leaders, noting that they benefited from a sound economy and now want others to do so. "Raise our taxes"

Riddle me this - how many of these self-declared "millionaires" are democrats, and how many of them are ObamaVoters, and more importantly ObamaBumdlers.  It's becoming obvious that a huge number of the current democrat wealthy got that way by sucking up to Obama, giving him money, and then received BILLIONS of dollars in loans, loan guarantees, etc.  See Robert Kennedy Jr, and Solyndra for but two examples.

(The story is Reuters, from the Chgo Tribune.  Linky-fu is weak)

20 Early OT:  I see that Ann Coulter has joined the ranks of the RINOs and is urging Repubs to coalesce around Romney in her latest column.  She apparently doesn't much care for Newt, and catalogues why.

Best part:
Meanwhile, everyone knows the nominee is going to be Romney.

That's not so bad if you think the most important issues in this election are defeating Obama and repealing Obamacare.

There may be better ways to stop Obamacare than Romney, but, unfortunately, they're not available right now.

I hope so, but probably not.  He's played with broken ribs before, and Tony Romo just proved that you can play with a punctured lung.  They'll get him re-fit for his kevlar vest and he'll be fine.  Unfortunately.

There are things that are more succinct, but they're not as satisfying, and there are things that are more satisfying, but they're not succinct enough.

I guess, if you want to put extra emphasis on it, you can start multiplying it, or giving it exponents, but that seems a little clunky, for me.

Ben Affleck just told me that 1 in every 6 Americans is hungry.

He's a multi-millionaire. How many people is he treating to McDonald's tonight?

My favorite Coen brothers film was "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Fantastic music, interesting plot, and Clooney's fun to look at when he shuts up and acts.

A few years back I went to see Allison Krauss and Union Station, and one of the guys in the band did a joke about singing "Man of Constant Sorrow" for the film. He said "I told my wife, 'It'll look like George Clooney singing, but it'll actually be my voice.' She said, 'Honey, that's always how I fantasize it...'"

99 What happened to the Tea Party? This summer there was nothing. The Tea Party was the best way to form a movement. We are a year away, we need to get another movement going.

Then maybe they should fucking eat something.  I am pretty sure that this is the only country in the world with fat poor people.

I was so disappointed in the newspapers after the Eagles defeated the Browns in a pre-season game.  Not one of them had the headline "Vick Beats Dogs"

You got it, Bucky. Notice how they don't tell us exactly who these 140 millionaires are.

I love the hunger meme the leftists always push. Ask yourself one question: when's the last time you saw someone who looked malnourished? (Supermodels don't count.) We have an obesity problem, and it's most severe among the poorest. Whining about the "hunger problem" is like complaining about the growing number of people with two heads.
