— Ace Well, Huntsman might show up at least.
A spokesman for "The View" confirmed that requests have been sent to Republican campaigns but declined to speak further about any interest so far. The debate would take place during the show's 11 a.m. EST time slot.

Perry and Cain should simply go away, along with Hunstman, Bachmann, Paul and Johnson. Our betters, the Political Experts, have so decreed.
Oh, wait, Romney can debate himself. That should give us at least three different sets of policies.
I'm sure ol' Mutt can charm those left-leaning, shrill gasbags.

My 15 year old (yeah, I told her she was too old to go out (TorTreating) went to school dressed as Lois Lane. She had on her grandmother's old, very stylish clothes, and looked like a million bucks. She said at least a half dozen kids didn't know who Lois Lane was. I weep for our country.

The fucking View? This is really gettin ridiculous. Fox News didnt get to host a single Dem primary debate in '08, but the Repubs keep crawling back to liberal media scum.
I seriously dont get it. Its not like that there are no conservative media outlets out there. We have NR, Weekly Standard, Commentary, American Spectator, WSJ and so on. Why dont these guys get to host the debates and FOX News and C-Span get to broadcast them on a rotating basis?
First MSNBC and now The View. It would be funny if it were not so pathetic and sad.

abortion, guns, gays, and God.
"That's a very good question for the 1980's Joy, but I'll answer it. I'll be in the executive branch. I can't write a new law that would have any merit. I do believe that the entire purpose of having a government in the first place is to try to provide some sensible framework for the weakest to legitimately oppose the most powerful without resorting to force. The science says the fetus is indeed alive. And human. And very, very weak."
The inevitable rebuttal is -always- (You get a liberal spitting mad over abortion, this is 100%) "But the freaking death penalty!"
"Hey Joy, calm down, I'll hold it to exactly the same standard if you like. Somewhere between 3 and 5 executive branch people, the details hashed out by state and federal legislators, and at least three separate judicial levels.... Hey. That would probably only ever happen for a -rape- or an -incest- incident."
