— Open Blogger Our friend, moronette Dagny, said last week, "The social contract exists so that everyone doesn't have to squat in the dust holding a spear to protect his woman and his meat all day every day. It does not exist so that the government can take your spear, your meat, and your woman because it knows better what to do with them." The video is unrelated:

I prefer someone who points out the other candidates' records over someone who casts aspersions on their intellect and calls them a bigot.

Our source, who is fearful of reprisal and has requested anonymity, says that KGO-TVÂ’s Amy Hollyfield was accosted by a man who threatened her and used a racial slur:
“We shoot white bitches like you around here.”

According to FBI statistics, Slow Joe was wrong about Flint.
Plus, according to the Constitution, Slow Joe is wrong that, even if he wasn't making up numbers, he's supposed to do a fucking thing about it.

Love this, we should send it to every Obamabot we know.
Jason Mattero to Democrats: (lifted from insta) (I love this)
“The very first question at the next Solyndra hearing should be, ‘How many rapes could Democrats have prevented by giving that $535 million to cops instead?’”

What does that mean re Romney?
Posted by: Havedash at October 20, 2011 07:42 AM (sFD5n)
1 I really don't appreciate Perry's scorched earth approach.
Romney was the first scorcher of earth. ....Perry tried to ignore it and simply attack Obama....but then everyone started calling him a wimp for not fighting back.
Now that Perry is fighting back, he's the scorcher? ......Pfffft.

Do we know yet if Perry's flat tax proposal will also eliminate all deductions? As I understand it, they do not necessarily go together.

Don't worry about getting raped; my friend Joe misspoke.
Worry instead about driving under on of the many bridges that are about to collapse.

If you look at cash for clunkers or the first home buyer tax credit, they were geared to trying to shift [recovery] from 2010 into 2009. Given itÂ’s taken this long [to recover], I donÂ’t think you would do that short-run stuff.
Posted by: Miss'80s at October 20, 2011 07:46 AM (d6QMz)
If a bridge doesn't collapse on you, you will get raped.
If you don't get raped, you will die from lack of health care.
If lack of health care doesn't kill you. the dirty water and dirty air will kill you.

Good question......IIRC, Steve Forbes's version allowed deductions for Mortgage Interest and Charitable Donations. .....And Forbes has been his advisor on this.

It can't be stressed enough that GOTV is paramount this time around. We really need to attain an ironclad majority, no matter if it's Perry or Romney.
Nothing else will allow us to dismantle the current admin's programs, y'all know that for a fact.

The president got a polite reception from the 100 or so people crowded into the station garage. Early in his speech he mentioned his American Jobs Act.
One or two people clapped.

This Administration is admitting that their law enforcement efforts are so bad that “murder rates are up, robberies are up, rapes are up.”
But the truth is Â… crime is down.
What kind of Administration admits to failures that donÂ’t exist ? Only an SCOAMF.

Demonstrator Andrew Warner, 36, said homeless people are hijacking tents, getting drunk, “passing out” and stealing.
“It’s turning into us against them,” Warner said. “They come in here and they’re looking at it as a way of getting a free meal and a place to crash, which is totally fine, but they don’t bring anything to the table at all. It gets really frustrating.”

At great diplomatic effort and US taxpayer expense, the two men charged by British and US intelligence for the Lockerbie bombing were tried in Norway by a Scottish Court of Law, as the pre-arranged impartial 3rd party nation via Gaddafi/Clinton/UN.
The man convicted of that terrorist crime was imprisoned, and recently released by the British as if on "compassionate" grounds, too conveniently timed to rile public opinion against Libya/Gaddafi.
The Obama War in Libya aided al-Qaeda. Obama broke the post-Nixon Ford administration's Executive Order banning any enemy list for CIA assassination of heads of state that every president from Ford through GHWBush maintained.
The losers in this Libyan war are the Libyans as their populations are being annihilated by al-Qaeda in much greater number than the al-Qaeda can claim today to be unearthing from the Gaddafi era. And the Americans, by awarding al-Qaeda the military infrastructure and weapons that were Gaddafi's, also are the losers in this Obama military/political fiasco.
Gaddafi was never charged or proven to have ordered the Lockerbei bombing, and he always maintained he had not authorized it. He had already denounced terrorism, and met every UN/US requirement in order for Libya to successfully be taken off the list of terrorist nations.
The convenience of Gaddafi's Judicial Minister who happens to be the most feared man in Libya today coming out with a headline "I have proof" Gaddafi ordered it, AND NOT PROVIDING ANY SUCH PROOF, and the MFM republishing that propaganda, is all the more reason for all to stop and reconsider what we're being told by this minister whose deceitful reputation grabbing power is already established.
NRO The Corner, Jack David, "Qaddafi's Death No Western Triumph"
The defeat and death of Qaddafi cannot be viewed as a triumph of Western policy in general and U.S. policy in particular. President Obama called for Qaddafi’s ouster early in the conflict and then did nothing about it, never asking Congress for authority to use force, refusing to target Qaddafi himself, and then refusing to acknowledge that he was being targeted when NATO clearly was doing so — even insisting that the U.S. was not engaged in “hostilities” in Libya. The dallying and confusion of the Western response will be remembered just as much as the fact of Qaddafi’s demise. Finally, Qaddafi’s death is not relevant to whether the so-called Arab Spring really is a spring in Libya. Reports that al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb secured Qaddafi’s weapons for their own future terrorist efforts and related reports that they are seeking a role in Libya’s future are worrisome. Libya’s transitional authorities this month prevented exiled Libyan Jew David Gerbi from reopening Tripoli’s synagogue and then forced him to flee the country.
