After hearing arguments from Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Medicare, I was at a total loss. Oh she is profoundly stupid, that is a given. But the core of her arguments have always seemed to have a special level of utter thoughtlessness. Sentences that scream "profound brain damage".
Then it dawned on me. I have heard her line of thinking before:

Anyone up for Starbucks?

It's from the movie "Idiocracy" which depicts the U.S. 500 years from now.  It does stretch believability pretty thin, though; we'll be there in 75-100 years, tops.

Someone was kind enough to post a clip montage from the Space Mutiny MST3K episode on YouTube. I was nearly in tears from laughing so hard whilst watching it.

I've only listened to two Rifftrax, though: The Room and The Star Wars Holiday Special. I didn't think much of them, regrettably.  If there are suggestions here for funnier ones, please post 'em.

Let me say this: I am super nervous about what Palin is thinking.

Because if she is running, then that's okay with me really, but this is pretty standard politician stuff, and, yeah, maybe she is a little full of herself with the bus tour announcement (but which ones aren't).

But if she is NOT running, then she is the most brilliant politician we have. Not letting them know her schedule? Meeting with Trump for pizza? She is distracting the media brilliantly. Just completely brilliantly.

So which is it? Okay politician, or the best we have? I nervously watch and wait to see what my opinion will have to become.

53 As an insider/member of TheTribe, I always ASSUME Jewish people are not stupid. Maybe not SMART, but not d-u-m-m. I mean, face it, a HIGH % of Nobel Prize winners/scientists/doctors are Jews. When I see a Jewish person who really looks dumb, I always assume it's an act...Remember, sometimes it's to your advantage for people to think you ARE dumb, and you just might get misunderestimated to 2 terms as governor followed by 2 terms as President, crushing in the process three of the wiiiiliest Democrats in the land...So I assume it's an act, esp. when the dumb-looking Jewish person is someone in high public office who managed to climb up the greasy pole to the top. "If they are so dumb, how did they win?" But I gotta admit it: DWS is one dumm broad. Omygawwwd is she impenetrably stupid. But she uses her stupidity (and her rudeness) as both a sword and a shield to block out the normal questions of the journalist and blare out her idiotic dhim talking points, which are obviously tailored to her largely-Alzheimer-suffering constituency. I swear this is a true quote: I was speaking with a buddy's mom, Mrs. F., she is a retired schoolteacher from Mass., moved to SFla about 15 years ago. (We are all from The Tribe, grew up in the same Mass neighborhood). Mr. and Mrs. F were talking about a bunch of the (mostly Jewish) guests at a gathering we'd attended, and Mrs. F blurted out: "I never imagined there were so many stupid Jewish people until I moved to Florida." As is convincingly proven every single day by Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Maybe it's the weather?
