— CAC After hearing arguments from Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Medicare, I was at a total loss. Oh she is profoundly stupid, that is a given. But the core of her arguments have always seemed to have a special level of utter thoughtlessness. Sentences that scream "profound brain damage".
Then it dawned on me. I have heard her line of thinking before:
Anyone up for Starbucks?

It's from the movie "Idiocracy" which depicts the U.S. 500 years from now. It does stretch believability pretty thin, though; we'll be there in 75-100 years, tops.

Dave Dryer.
Aka
Slab Bulkhead
Grisle McThornbody
Blast Hardcheese
Bulk Vanderhuge
and
Bob Johnson.

Oops, you're right. Rifftrax is what the guys from MST3K are doing now. I always love the "Bob Johnson" line. Cracks me up just thinking about it.

Space Mutiny was probably the worst film they ever put on with Mike.

"Prince Of Space" was up there with "Space Mutiny":
-"Wait those are two separate ideas.."
-"Mom says I have to wear this in space cuz its cold"
-"Please call me the artist.."

The attack on 9/11 woke a lot of liberals up who now call themselves proud conservatives.
Can I be hopeful that our country's economy circling the drain will do the same?

Someone was kind enough to post a clip montage from the Space Mutiny MST3K episode on YouTube. I was nearly in tears from laughing so hard whilst watching it.
I've only listened to two Rifftrax, though: The Room and The Star Wars Holiday Special. I didn't think much of them, regrettably. If there are suggestions here for funnier ones, please post 'em.

I'll have to check the Red Box at WalMart. Our Blockbuster went bellyup.
Posted by: Vic at June 02, 2011 10:03 AM (M9Ie6)
Wait. This is a Mike Judge flick. Buy a copy. You'll end up loaning it out.
Not sure if RedBox will have it.

Brawndo is exciting
like riding a pony
which isn't that exciting
except the pony is 600' tall and covered in chainsaws
Sadly we do not have to wait 100 years for this
The goverment is already fully staffed with these people

Let me say this: I am super nervous about what Palin is thinking.
Because if she is running, then that's okay with me really, but this is pretty standard politician stuff, and, yeah, maybe she is a little full of herself with the bus tour announcement (but which ones aren't).
But if she is NOT running, then she is the most brilliant politician we have. Not letting them know her schedule? Meeting with Trump for pizza? She is distracting the media brilliantly. Just completely brilliantly.
So which is it? Okay politician, or the best we have? I nervously watch and wait to see what my opinion will have to become.
