The Norks have absolutely no force projection capabilities.  How is their presence en masse on American soil going to be explained?

There are so many issues. One they don't really have much of a navy, they don't have a large population that could sustain an invasion.

It's just so stupid. I'm guessing it lasts 2 weeks in the theater.

Also, what's the casus belli going to be? If I remember correctly, the USSR and Warsaw Pact states invaded in Red Dawn because the USSR had a bad harvest and didn't have enough wheat to feed it's people. This had some truth as the USSR couldn't feed it's people and depended on food from the West.

I'd be in favor of canceling the elections for 2 years if it meant no new laws could be passed, and no new money could be spent, but existing laws, regulations and spending could be repealed.  Oh, and as long as the 2 years in question begin with the 2012 inauguration.

p.s. As a 'nette I reserve the right to change my mind if I don't like the outcome of the elections.  But I'm pretty sure I will.

So I got HBO free for the weekend(some promotion). I watched all the back episodes of Boardwalk Empire. It's a good tv show. I highly suggest people watch it if they're into that sort of thing(and have HBO).

As someone who loves history, I'm really enjoying this wave of period piece tv shows. This is a great time period too. It starts in 1920.

Something I've noticed about the show, and I like, are the naked women.

Now you may say, "duhhh", but there is more too it than that., it's the fact that the naked women are actually real (normal) women No breast implants, no hours spent at the gym body, but naturually beatiful women. Imperfections and all.I've noticed that I find them far more appealing than the modern alternative you find on tv.

Dogs like you describe are deliberately killed by the hundreds every day in this country in pounds and Humane Society shelters. Litters of puppies. At least that many purpose bred research dogs.I was on the BOD of our local Humane Society for many years. We had a big problem with burnout in employees because of the constant euthanasias they had to perform. I was also in clinical research for many years with a major animal vaccine company. We went through dogs like used Kleenex, many of them for projects which had little chance of  success. I hated it and I'll never get over it.

The whole west side was shut down -- Wilshire, Sunset, the whole UCLA area, Century City, Beverly Hills, the 405.

I go to the range, work the 7 yard tactical with 2 boxes of 40S&W, done and all mags loaded with hydro's.then the long gun range work-out for my prime M1-A1 and a couple of dozen hand loads thru the 20 box mags just to make sure the tool remains a tack driver out to the minum and with iron sights only! Clean the bores, oil, (not too heavy) then back in their respective cases, cept the 40, that stays condition 0ne in the "special" place by my bed.

She s asleep with her face in the fuzzy white cats butt right now. 

I used to have an ENORMOUS Turkish Van that was 25 lbs and the size of an ocelot. I used to take him to the stable occasionally and he would eat Tuna sammitches. And built like a linebacker, and used to enjoy getting in the shower with you. Bless his memory. he was an awesome cat. Fluffy without the squshed face and white with minimal turkey gravy colored spots on his head and tail. He had attitude.

But this Hairless cat is Teeeeeni tiny... and sweet.

The craziness is second to me wanting to plow her.  And like I said she's an internet person so I guess commentary must be taken with grain of salt.  But near as I can tell I don't think she's ever had a serious relationship and she whines frequently about it.  Did I mention she's so fine?  Fine enough, at least, that I believe she could land a man easily.  A good one.  But near as I can tell she's attracted to morons (not the good kind like us), and vascillates between manic silliness (and she can be a hoot) and endless whining.

She might be better or worse in meatspace, I don't know.  Again, grain of salt.  I've never met her personally.

If I could just lick her up and down for a few hours, that would also be cool.
