I don't think so. They were hated before oppressed muzzies. Historically there were problems with usury--essentially people hate their loan shark but there seems to be more to it than that.

Maybe not that big, but certainly she needs to be compensated however the precedents suggest she should be. The fact that they shamed her in publishing her photo, as well as used her as an advocate for infidelity, which she is opposed to, should be aggravating factors in whatever judgement she receives or settlement she deigns to accept.

A few reasons for that include that Ashkenazi Jews had, due probably mainly to social pressures and unique memes of Judaism, evolved a greater IQ than any known population, and other than the normative, juvenile thing where those with higher IQ are often little loved, they frequently outcompeted locals in certain industries such as banking, accounting, select businesses, science, and, yes, the media.

Further, the Jews as a group had, in the Torah, developed a unique, monotheistic, and multi-ethnic group of memes long before these became popular in Europe and the wider world. They pioneered the idea of an individual with unique worth, judged as an individual, pursuing their own path to God.

This often was in direct, if little appreciated, opposition to the tribal, nationalistic kin-selective values more normal in the countries where the Jews resided. This valuing of individualism eventually led to a schism and the development of Christianity proper. Jesus expressed disdain for the traditional families, and advised individual people to cleave to him, not to their families. But most Europeans were xenophobic tribalists, believing their race or group superior, whereas Jews were more internationalists, focussing on their individual relationships with their creator, rather than kin-selective values and their nation states.

On the contrary, the Nazis believed in eugenics, killing the weak and mentally disabled (the Nazi membership rate was huge in the medical and especially psychiatric professions -- higher than amongst any others) in an effort to develop a race of Supermen.

They also believed in conquest and spreading their genes throughout Europe. Fundamentally, the Germanic peoples will and destiny had been thwarted by the ideas of Christianity, as the Nazis saw it, and all of the individualism and human rights that followed that. When the Roman empire fell and Germany seemed poised to come into its own, Christianity had undermined their rise, from the Nazi perspective.

Hitler sought to remove the Jews as the beginners of this, from their perspective, tragic outcome; and also because the Jews, with their non-nationalistic but pro-God monotheistic (non-Germanic pagan) values and high IQs could not be Nazified en mass. At the same time, through breeding programs, smaller extermination programs at hospitals and psychiatric hospitals, etc., the Nazis sought to enhance Germanic biological gene expression.

But the industrial capacity provided by capitalism and the free market, themselves the result of individualism and human rights, stemming from Judaism then Jesus's teachings and Christianity, but coming to the as the fore during the Enlightenment and birth of America (themselves a memetic ideological progressive reaction via the Magna Carta, English Civil War, etc., by the Saxon people to being humiliated and genetically outcompeted by their Norman conquerors) was sufficient to crush the Nazis and their allies.

You do realize that there are rougly the same amount of women and men, right?  In polygamy situations, you have a ton of guys who do not get laid or have a stake in a family.  That's a big problem in ... places Al Qaida thrives.  Makes perfect sense to me.

I get it, though.  We have the animal desire to sleep with lots of women.  Of course. 

And yet we should control ourselves.  I'm not trying to be judgey.  I think this is an imminently necessary part of having the best life.  Just pure utility.

It really does help society a ton if marriages work out, and people control their desire to cheat on their fat wife.

This is the difference between civilization and the zoo.  The nuclear family is a discarded element at this point, so I'm just tilting at a windmill here.  And I'm not pretending to be superior to those who suffer normal human failings.  I'm talking about a practical tip for society and individuals to be much better off.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. There are some definite advantages to monogamy in a social sense. There is a reason why the Romans used it, and it probably was a factor in their success over other tribes and peoples, including the polygamous Jews.

One of its main benefits is it makes it possible for lower status males to find mates. This is also its main disadvantage. It reduces competition where lower status males' genes are sexually selected against, weeding them out of the genetic pool. 

My point is that our inclinations and instincts clearly show men crave multiple females (and to a lesser degree, women crave multiple males) sexually, while we also maintain a longing in our heart for deep romantic love with one person. This situation results in, for many many men, any of the following:

Polygamy with a main wife, and others.

Monogamy, with unrequited desire for others.

Social monogamy, with sexual affairs.

Serial monogamy: having one spice, eventually the passion fading, finding another and marrying or forming a long term relationship with her, finding another and marrying or forming a long term relationship with her.

Giving up on both social and sexual monogamy, and staying single, but somewhat promiscuous (more than one lifetime partner, often several).

All of these behaviors derive naturally from our evolved instincts. These are the sorts of behaviors we see in the real world.

Occasionally you see this one:

Monogamy, no desire to stray.

But that's pretty rare. It usually has to be enforced, by threat of stoning, difficulty of divorce laws, social opprobrium, etc. And even then, the desire is usually present ... but yes, some people fall on the Bell curve in such a way that they don't want to stray, just as some fall out further on the extremes of the Bell curve that they don't want to mate, period ... or they just want to mate and couldn't care less about a relationship.

But the norms are the behaviors I listed up top.

So I would say biologically humans are "meant" to have more than one partner, social advantages (and disadvantages) of absolute monogamy, not withstanding.

I do feel, though, that eventually, this biologically weakens a species, as people with lesser genetics mate with others with lesser genetics, and this effect multiplies down generations, particularly now that we've arrested natural selection with human rights combined with medical technology and the wealth produced by capitalism as distributed by charity or socialism. There is a good reason our "animal instincts" evolved: to produce fitter animals.
