Pre-ONT Open Thread: Democratic Plan for Post-Debt Bomb America
— CAC

Just came in the mail a day ago.
Really, really excited, because it tasted delicious, like a cross between chicken masala and bacon-inside-of-bacon. The chicken was a bit more chewy, but hey, it was free so I can't complain.

It also went great with a Coke: Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I read a piece about his message and it sounds like he reached those who're worried about jobs and the angry at Establishment. But this is the 4th time he's run for a congressional seat. In '06, he ran as a Dem and came close to beating the incumbent Republican. So on top of everything else he's a hypocrite.

Types of Soylent Green:

Soylent Green Aged - made with old people, infused with a lifetime of a variety of flavours ranging from Castor oil thru whiskey. Never tastes the same twice. It also helps the government lower costs for their healthcare program.

Soylent Green Lean and Spicy - made with illegal immigrants which raises far fewer questions from family members.

Soylent Green Canadian - Bland, lifeless, hard to locate.

Soylent Green Acid - made with those who've 'accidentally' overdosed. Taste the colours maannn!

Soylent Green Not Quite Caviar - Raises the age old question - Does Soylent Green begin at birth?

47 what scares you about this election is that they literally rolled out the commercial with Ryan tossing grandma off the cliff as an experiment here and if they win, they are going to assume the experiment worked and blanket the country with that add.

Has anyone heard how Tami's surgery went?

BTW - After the anti-union, and 'BO isn't a good role model for blacks' conversation I had with several people at the hospital (a proud African American started his conversation), I went to the gift shop and three ladies were in their working (1 white, 2 blacks) and all three were knocking on BO. This vacation 'was the last straw'.

Huh.  Downtown, Columbus, OH hospital and no one came to BO's defense (or the union's).

Even some moderate Dem to liberal political scientists have said that Mediscare is not the primary factor in this election. It's one of them but there are so many things here to consider, including mistakes made by the state GOP and by Corwin herself. Hochul positioned and handled herself better than Corwin did.

Larry Sabato: “Even if Corwin wins in the end, critics will say it would never have been close, save for Ryan’s Medicare provisions in his budget plan. Actually it would never have been close without a rich independent posing as a tea-party candidate.”

72 Here's the video of BO screwing up toast (I know it was mentioned in last thread, but didn't see a link):

Obama Botches Toast to the Queen (Video)

When the president toasted the Queen the orchestra misunderstood a pause and what seemed to be a cue from the president for “God Save the Queen” to begin playing.

“Ladies and gentlemen please stand with me and raise your glasses as I propose a toast,” the president said, putting down his note cards and grabbing his glass. “To her majesty the Queen.”

The president paused, the guests stood, and the orchestra prepared to play.

But the president wasnÂ’t done speaking.

“The vitality –“ the president said before the orchestra began.

Then the familiar tune – you might know it better as “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” – started up.

The president kept going: “ — of the special relationship between our peoples and for the words of Shakespeare to this blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England,” the president said as the awkward moment played out.

The Queen looked ahead as the UK anthem played.

“To the Queen,” the president finally said.

He lifted his glass to her, she smiled a bit uncomfortably.

But because the song was playing, no one drank from his or her glass, including the president, who put his glass down on the table.

Posted by: momma at May 24, 2011 05:47 PM (penCf)

73 Corwin is inching back. the only thing Hochul has going for her is Erie county and the lead there for her is going down. Davi's biggest impact has been in Niagara county and that was split by Obama and McCain in 2008. Corwin and Hochul are even there. it's hard to tell if Davis has really hurt yet.

Posted by: Rocks at May 24, 2011 05:48 PM (th0op)

74 I don't know NY county breakdowns or nothin', but two counties have reported zilch yet, the D is winning only Erie county, Niagara is a virtual tie, and the numbers keep closing (R down by 4%).
